I planned on a day enjoying the garden and some food. Admission is $ 5 but parking is free(be sure to park in the free lots provided or the 1 hour limit is strictly enforced). There aren’t signs so look for the gift shop as it is next to it. The guy who took my order was helpful and patient as I made my selection and then brought my food out to me. I ordered the chicken, mushroom, and cheese crêpe and a lemonade. The crêpe came with a carrot coleslaw with some good seasoning! It was a nice view as I enjoyed my meal. I will definitely return in the spring when more flowers are blooming!

Crepes were soggy. Seemed not made to order. Not fresh. Strawberries were not fresh, and strawberry crêpe is mostly strawberry syrup. Overall quality is not so good

I told the lady at the front we had a reservation for afternoon tea but she still charged us $ 3 admission. Guess what? It’s included in the afternoon tea reservation! Yeah it’s only $ 3 but I am still irritated we got charged twice for an admission fee that we didn’t really use. We didn’t check out the gardens because honestly it’s not much to check out! The afternoon tea service is NOT memorable by any means. We didn’t get refills on our tea. Service was pretty inattentive. None of the food was really good at all. Then when it came time to pay the bill they kept messing it up and leaving for long periods of time with our credit cards. This place is also really old and worn out looking. Everything needs a massive update! But most importantly, fix the food! Can’t be charging $ 29PP and serving really really mediocre food and horrible service.

Tried this place for the first time on a Saturday in January. It is a bit cold outside despite the sunny day and the crepes got cold more quickly than I hoped. Good: — $ 3 entry fee to the garden can be refunded with receipt from this place — Beautiful and relaxing surroundings — It was not crowded on the day of our visit Bad: — They put ice water on a table outside so that you can help yourself but I found a small fly in it — They also provide disposable knives/forks on that table. I asked for stainless steel ones but one of them looked really dirty so I used the disposable ones instead — The food took a while to come We ordered the«Mushroom and Cheese» and«Goat Cheese and Sweet Peppers» crepes. They each came with a small coleslaw salad. They taste good but not great. The price was reasonable given the waived entry fee. I don’t think we will eat there unless we want to visit the garden again. Then I might try the sweet ones for a quick bite instead of having my lunch there.

We have been here a couple of times and never get to eat! Hours are so limited and they even close earlier than posted time!

Situated amidst the Sherman Library & Botanical Garden, this is a nice little area to enjoy some yummy crepes when you visit the garden. Beatiful garden as your peripheral view, and what is not to love about Corona Del Mar? It’s not too hot and you get that nice cool breeze. My family and I had a wonderful time visiting the garden and also decided to take a break to have a quick lunch here. Why not? Menu is primarly prepes, a few appetizers, salads and tea selections. I love sweet crepes! Here’s what we tried: *Chocolate hazelnut crêpe — Ooooo yum! Not too sweet! *Apple marmalade crêpe — Loved the marmalade flavor! *Cesar salad — Crunchy and fresh. *Spinach salad with chicken breast & almond slices — This was ok. Thought the chicken breast was kinda dry. :( The service was good, the place is clean, plus it’s an added bonus to be seated outside to eat and enjoy the view! =) Parking is not an issue. You can park on the side street, or, in the parking lot. Entrance fee is only $ 3. Reservation is recommended for the weekend. Bön Appetite!

Went there with my wife and aunt for part of an afternoon, mainly to see the gardens and the begonia show they had that weekend. The creperie provides delightful and relaxing open-air eating. Menu is limited to crepes and a handful of other dishes, but we had enough of a choice to all enjoy different dishes. Our three dishes plus two ice teas cost $ 28.40 before tax and tip. Service was good.

my boss recommended this place. So, I was off from work on a Saturday(finally) and it was a beautiful soCAL day out.. .sooo whyyyy not?! Corona del mar, land of beautiful craftsman houses! This place is definitely a nice getaway from the busy world on coast hwy! When u enter, there is a fee of $ 3/person. Which isn’t bad b/c u get a refund if u dine @ the tea garden. As we ordered from the simple menu, we grabbed a seat at one of the tables. There were only a few ppl there. Very relaxing, As the food came out, it was so delish! I ordered the mushroom and cheese crêpe. Cheese were melted to perfection. The workers were young and friendly gals. Went above and beyond! Thanks for the awesome service

Wowzers! My husband and I stumbled in here purely by accident. We were walking by and some lady came out with the creperie sign right when we were passing. I noticed that it was by Pascal, which has a café I love to go to by South Coast plaza( ) The Sherman Library & Gardens opens their tea garden up on the weekends to become the creperie, which is freaking lovely. On the weekdays, this garden becomes Café Jardin, which is also by Pascal but features a very different menu. You have to pay a $ 3 entrance fee to get into the gardens, and by extension the creperie, but it is well worth it. These gardens are gorgeous, and make a perfect backdrop for a lovely outdoor garden café lunch. My husband and I both started with a Caesar salad(which you can add on to your crêpe for $ 3.50). My oh my was that some good dressing! The croutons were perfection, and the grated parmesan was great. I ordered the goat cheese and sweet pepper crêpe(~$ 8), which was served with a side of coleslaw from the gods. I gobbled it up, and enjoyed every bite. Equally delicious was my husband’s chicken, mushroom, and gruyère crêpe(~$ 9), which featured some sort of creamy sauce from heaven. Everything was so good, and the ambiance was so lovely. Our server was great and cheery, but it seemed that there was only one waitress for the entire garden, which made service slow. However, I didn’t mind being leisurely on a Sunday midday… but you should be prepared to wait.
