Customer service was extremely slow and almost non existent. We waited over 40 mins for our food once order was finally placed. Bananas Foster pancakes were good but they come with nothing other than pancakes. I ordered a side of chicken/apple sausage, not good at all. The wife got the«scramble» w/potatoes and toast. She liked it but said it wasn’t worth the wait. I doubt we will be back.

I love this place! Thumbs up!:) I originally went to eat sushi next door from this place but they never seated me after standing around for 15 mins so leaving mad. I stumbled across this place and me and my husband decided to check it out. The food was amazing we went around lunch time and we both ordered a Korean inspired sandwich. Sorry I don’t remember the name but correct me if I’m wrong on if it was not Korean inspired lol. But it was so good that my husband carved for it the next day and we had to go back to eat it again:) you can really tell how fresh the food was and was really flavorful! The next time I went I tried there California burger. Again well executed! My favor part was the thick cuts of premium bacon. Forgive me but I hate bacon and this was literally the best and only bacon I’ll eat honestly making me hungry writing this I also ordered ice tea, well my husband did and I tried it and I loved it and he made me get my own hahahaa you might think I’m stupid for saying this cuz it’s just ice tea but hands down the best freshly brewed tea I’ve had! I didn’t ask what was in it but I tasted mint and honey. Really refreashing

Food is really good, the presentation amazing, great quality. It’s just the deco. This place could be a 5 stars restaurant with a nicer decoration or better location. But for fresh good meal: this is it

Wonderful informal experience. Best pork chop I have ever had. The ravioli were excellent as well. Highly recommend. This is not fancy formal dining, but the food is the thing. They have that in spades!

At first glance this little place seems like one of those BS hole in the wall restaurants next to several other tiny restaurants in a shopping plaza… Only difference is that this little Restarant has some of the best food in the inland empire with out a doubt If you decide to eat here and you don’t try the petite lamb chops… You did it wrong. The best way I can describe their lamb chops is «meat candy» as I’ve never had lamb prepared so well in my life :) Every meal I’ve had here was cooked with extreme amounts of love and my taste buds endlessly thank me In conclusion … Eat here!

I’ve dined at Blackburn’s on two occasions so I feel I can provide an honest review. The first time was with just my girlfriend. We had a great experience as the staff are very friendly. We stated with the Mac n Cheese and wow was that yum. For the entrée, I had the Ribeye special and she ordered the chick salad. The ribeye was good but not great, the flavor was the best part. The steak was a bit chewy and tough because of the tendons so I’m sure had I sent it back the next steak would’ve been perfect. The chicken salad was excellent, I found myself enjoying her salad more then my steak. They have a small but nice selection of brew and wine. My favorite is the Samuel Smith Organic Chocolate Stout. The second time dining was for breakfast. The kids ordered the pancake(red velvet and blueberry) they like them and thought they were good. I ordered the banana fosters pancake and they were excellent. The kids finished mine and abandoned theirs. I also ordered the chick sausage to take away the sweetness and it was a perfect balance of sweet and savory. Overall I’d highly recommend Blackburn’s, it’s a nice little gem in the area. As a recommendation call and reserve a table because its a small quaint little establishment. Cheers!

Meh. I had the crab and shrimp omelet. While different and tasty, it was a bit dry. My fiancé had a little salsa with her dish, and being the cad I am, I confiscated a bit for my omelet. That made it better. She was not as happy with her dish, and being the dumb cad I am, I don’t exactly remember what she had.(I’m writing this a few days later) Would I go back? Probably if I was in the area. I would definitely tell you, dear reader, to go try it. Please don’t listen to the bad reviews, or at least read between the lines. It’s all about the food, and that was better than most. Some have said ‘a high class Denny’s’ but I don’t recall seeing a seafood omelet there so I don’t get the comparison. Enjoy.

My husband and I had breakfast today at Blackburn’s Farm To Table. The service was great. The food was tasty & the portions were generous. 5 Stars from the 2 of us

Arrived on a Monday at 11am. They do not serve breakfast on weekdays on weekends so menu was limited to lunch only. Not too busy on a Monday. Plenty of parking. Food directly from farm and fresh. Nice option organic grass fed beef. Etc. Marinated super delish. We also ordered tortilla soup. Wasn’t expecting much but turned out very tasty, not too salty, and just right amount of cheese in soup. I also ordered their fresh shrimp mango salad which was very tasty. All food was delicious but most impressed by their grass fed beef salad. Price was very reasonable.

To start: the food was really good and most of the prices are fair for breakfast. However, the girl didn’t tell us about the specials, the waitresses were wearing shirts that were too tight(think popping buttons and see through fabrics) which I consider unprofessional. Plus they didn’t seem interested in helping us at all after we paid our check… basically they never came back but decided to gossip in the kitchen quite loudly while people stared. That said: I like the idea of farm-to-table. I like the idea of locally sourced food as well – but when you advertise farm-to-table then pop open a Ralph’s Half-n-Half, a Kirkland bottle of maple syrup and other such things it kinda loses its meaning… Go for the food, but not the message.

I had dinner here while in town for an event at Prado regional park. I chose the restaurant based on Unilocal reviews and was not disappointed. What the restaurant lacks in atmosphere it makes up for in food as everything was excellent! My friend and I both had the kale caesar salads to start and they were fresh and delicious with a wonderful dressing that didn’t overwhelm the locally sourced, fresh greens. My friend had the swordfish and loved it. The restaurant was accommodating and let him swap out the vegetables as he’s picky eater. I had the salmon and it was divine. The fingerling potatoes were amazing, especially the purple ones. They have a decent selection of wines and beer, or you can bring your own. I think this is probably the best food in Corona and would highly recommend it.

Waze wanted to get revenge on me for all the times I didn’t stop at Chick-Fil-A when the app told me there was one nearby, so I was detoured off I-5 and sent on a long rural route from LA to San Diego via Corona and Temecula. Thank heavens for Blackburn’s along the way of that never-ending drive. This cozy little casual restaurant in a strip mall surrounded by mountains(read: in the boonies) was just what I needed for lunch and a break from the impossible drive — fresh, healthy and affordable food with good service. My other options were 3(!) Jack in the Boxes and a McDonald’s within a stone’s throw. The open kitchen with a short order cook serves a menu of salads, sandwiches and burgers as well as a skillet macaroni and cheese. The concept is fresh fare with local and organic/grassfed/free-range ingredients. I ordered a chicken pesto panini sandwich for $ 10 and it was really outstanding. The basil pesto had lots of fresh herbs and was delicious. It also had chopped sun dried tomatoes to give it extra flavor. The highlight was the cheese. Rather than just a standard white cheese like Swiss or Provolone, it had havarti(yay!) with dill(double yay!). Havarti dill is by far one of my favorite cheeses and yet I have never seen it in my restaurant sandwiches. The sandwich came with a side salad of(bagged?) field greens, which didn’t seem nearly as exciting as the full size salads where the menu notes that the lettuce and vegetables are farm fresh. I would like this place more if they had some clear vegetarian or vegan choices, given the farm-to-table concept. It seems the only way to do this is to remove stuff(like cheese and/or meat) from your existing food, and it would be awesome instead if there was just a sandwich, for example, that was ALL vegetables as is. I was able to take advantage of the $ 7 for $ 10 deal offered on Unilocal and I highly recommend that to get a few bucks off. I saw a bunch of people order the mac and cheese which looked delicious. Also, the burgers were massive and looked delicious. They also have breakfast omelettes in the morning.

Blackburns was a’ight. I wish I could say I loved it. I think I just had high expectations since I had been waiting forever to try it out. The day finally arrived and I went in for breakfast. It wasn’t too busy for a Saturday morning. The staff seemed like they were newbies a lil slow and confused but they were friendly. I already knew I wanted the rock shrimp and crab omelet. Easy. Ordered. Came quick. It was good but nothing really special. Came with a side of fruit. I asked them to also add mixed greens. I really love the concept of this place so I might come back and try lunch or dinner. 4 stars cuz it’s worth a try and I like to support restaurants serving fresh food with organic selections.

Yargh mateys this be your culinary pirate Unilocalbeard here to swab the poop decks from my visit of Blackburns Farm To Table(yeah…I’d like to think the humor gets better folks, BUT I’ll slap a disclaimer for my own benefit and say not so much). Ha-ha! In all seriousness, I was on the hunt for new breakfast locations in the area and initially I was very excited based on the rating to give this a shot, but upon reflection it’s a rare 3 star rating for me and truthfully despite the hype the experience just fell very flat for me in the end which was disappointing. Don’t get me wrong, I was thrilled to death with the concept of farm to table and certainly the freshness and health factor reflected in the meal which I admit is nice to see as America attempts to turn away from the unfit juggernaut we are known to be. However, there was just a missing pop to breakfast to elevate it to the next level in my opinion. To be blunt it was just a «meh» reaction when tearing into things. The restaurant itself is in a small off the grid strip mall a mere glimpse away from the craziness of the Green River offramp. Décor as seen in my photo is very simplistic which I never really weigh in on, but to me the place does need a bit more umph in that department. I guess the worst thought that comes to mind is that the lack of much around me felt like I was eating post zombie invasion and humanity had perished type of a vibe and it’s awful. To its credit though I did like the picture with the breakdown of the meat from the pig areas. I think that’s the love for bacon surfacing though?!? Another plus though was the pricing of the menu. As you see in my other photo it was just above $ 20 for two and who can go wrong with that? I’m not sure how lunch or dinner stack up, but from checking the board it seems it’d be more of the same. So certainly your wallet won’t want to put you in a choke hold for wanting to eat here. Sadly where the meal fell short for me was my choice of the shrimp and crab omelet. I am 50⁄50 on the whole thing as I was impressed with the portion size as portioned well beyond the $ 11 price tag, but certainly nothing that can’t be pounded out and leaving you top heavy in the tummy. I did love the fact that the eggs did taste fluffy and the difference of «farm fresh» did show in each bite which was a deserved plus. The man pain point for me is that the mix of shrimp and crab(the crab was pretty minimal, but the shrimp was prepared to perfection) made the omelet taste watery somehow and the after taste(yes I know there was seafood in this) was quite potent with an offbeat fishy tone. It was actually quite overpowering and did not tie into the shrimp or crab just to clarify. I wanted this to work so much, but although the eggs were a blessing the rest was just far from holy. I can’t totally bash it as I did enjoy sampling my wife’s plate of chicken apple sausage and fruit. However as I summed it up to her, if enjoying a plate of fruit vs. the main attractions is a highlight something is desperately wrong here. I would certainly give it a shot again for lunch or dinner as I’m dying to try the mac n’ cheese here, but it would certainly take all of Old McDonald’s farm to coax me back to breakfast anytime soon to keep it real.

We came here the day after Christmas so I feel like I have to cut them some slack for not having many things readily available from the menu. They were out of bread! Being that it’s farm to table, it’s not common for them to have tons of inventory. However, I will say, what we had was super amazing and yummy! It was definitely worth the long wait. The service here is incredibly slow. It’s perfectly fine when you’re on vacation and have no where to be. Luckily, we were on vacation and we were enjoying the company of friends. Try the fish sandwich! It’s delicious!

Blackburn’s Farm to Table has been one of my unchecked bookmarks for a long time. Over the weekend, I took the initiative and headed there to see what all of the hype was about. Other Unilocalers indicated this eatery was located in a strip mall, so I was prepared for that. While parking right in front, there were several people waiting, which is typically a great sign. There were two tables outside that were being used as a waiting area. It seemed they could have decorated the tables and used them to seat customers. The two workers were swamped; the male a little frustrated, and the female still very pleasant. Now to the food. I ordered the Greek Frittata. I did not know what to expect, but the taste was incredible. The olives, spinach, and seasoned eggs were delicious. The frittata came on top of perfectly seasoned potatoes. The potatoes were not the type designed for filler; they actually were delicious. My wife had the Roasted Turkey Club, and I had a few bites. Being perfectly honest, I feel turkey sandwiches are boring, but not this one. The turkey was the freshest we have ever tasted because it actually had taste. We also had an order of the Lunch Skillet Macaroni. Perfect, perfect, perfect. Fresh tasty cheese atop macaroni with a slight crust. The funniest thing was that I asked for salt and pepper for our meal, and there was no need. We are looking forward to returning to try some of their other dishes.

Pork Chops in the Boonies! 3.5 Stars! I thought Corona was a beer and a beach near Laguna. I had no idea that if you kept driving on the 91 East towards Palm Springs there was a town serving up meat dishes! The shop is located in a plaza near the 91 off of the Green River Road off ramp. Out front it looks like someone went and picked up some garden tables at the local nursery. The inside is simple. There are beautiful wooden benches but then there are the same metal chairs as the front of the store that look out of place. Super friendly smiles made us feel welcomed and I fot the VIP«Reserved» table:) ~Bread and Butter Balls-2 Stars The bread was hot and hard… Like heated rocks that Lucy concocted in one of her schemes without Ricky knowing. ~Giant Pork Chop 3.5 Stars Served with Roasted Peaches, reduction, potatoes and asparagus. The meat was very dry and the peaches were not well roasted and tasted unripe. The flavors do work well together. The failure with the dish was not in concept but in the actual cooking of it. ~Filet Mignon Medallions-3 Stars Again, overly cooked and served well done. The dish would be much better cooked medium. The meat was dry. ~ Margarita Flat Bread-4 Stars Super Cheesy and a great option for kids. Overall, there is a great deal of potential but the meats were overcooked and dry. Traffic on the 91 sucked in this neck of the woods. I think some soft music and dimmed lighting would help the ambiance. Service was good. I am almost a fan.

I purchased a Groupon deal for Blackburn’s, not knowing too much about it. After reading a bit, I was excited to try it, since they offer organic and farm fresh dishes. Lunch: *Skillet Macaroni & Cheese– I liked this one. It needed a bit of salt, but was good! *Lemon Zest Albacore Tuna Melt– Excellent! The tuna and the lemon zest were a perfect match! *Hand Made Turkey Burger– This one needed a little more flavor. It was not my favorite. Dinner: *Thai Marinated Chicken Sate– Delicious! I loved the marinade. A little tangy/spicy but not overwhelming. A great dipping sauce comes with it. *Crisp Romaine & Kale Caesar– Very good starter salad. Kale tends to be rough but the mix of romaine was a good blend for that. *Smoked Barbecue Chicken Salad– Entrée salad. Big enough to share. Good. *Grilled Breast of Chicken– Excellent! Comes with asparagus and fingerling potatoes. Highly recommend. One drawback is that they seem to run out of menu items. When I dined for lunch they were out of a couple things. For dinner they ran out of all of their desserts aside from one. And of course it was the one dessert that I didn’t want. Parking is lot parking. There are many spaces available. Service was great both times! I will surely be back!

They haven’t been open that long. We even gave them a year to work out the kinks. And they have gotten a lot of things right. A small, very manageable menu. Service that was friendly and very attentive. The pictures on Unilocal showed high end food and artistic presentations, something Corona has always been lacking. But then there was the location. We found Blackburn’s in a disappointing, nearly invisible strip mall that looked like it was still reeling from the days of the recession, not a thriving mecca of commerce. Outside were four black, Home Depot quality patio tables with chairs. Inside, no romance, no table cloths, no flickering candles, no mood music, stark and virtually colorless with the exception of some framed art work on one wall. The biggest mistake, being confronted by an open kitchen that had the visual appeal of an ordinary hamburger joint. The foodie impression they were trying to make, with gourmet food and prices to match, was a total mismatch with the lackluster appearance. At least the minimal outdoor dining indicated an open invitation for bringing your doggy friends. They even offered a water dish for my little Lilly pup. I did appreciate that. For dinner starters… we shared a Romaine and Kale Caesar Salad. The greens were fresh. I loved the kale. The house made focaccia toast worked nicely. The grated cheese was perfect. But the salad dressing? It failed. Where was that complex, tangy lemon and anchovy zing? The dressing makes or breaks it. This one needed work. Our second course was an appetizer of three Petite New Zealand Lamb Chops with a mint pesto dipping sauce. The chef knew what she was doing when she grilled these. The lamb was very tender and still pink inside but I was not fond of the marinade, a personal taste issue. It was not garlicky enough for me, a must for the ultimate lamb experience, and was instead delicately seasoned with toasted fennel seeds. The mint pesto dipping sauce did not taste minty at all. Mint and garlic, lamb essentials for me. Filet of Beef Medallions with wild mushrooms and Bordelaise sauce. It was close but not my favorite choice for a red wine sauce. And the medallions, while cooked to perfection, were relatively tough. Not a great cut of filet, there was a lot of chewing going on. Shrimp Scampi. Five large, tender shrimp done perfectly. Too bad the butter sauce was so bland. I was expecting brightness and tasty garlic with white wine overtones. I found none of that and had to be appeased by salting my dish. The noodles sprinkled with a light dusting of cheese, now they were good! On the bright side, each entrée was accompanied with grilled, fresh asparagus. These were cooked to perfection, with just the right crunch, I was ready to become a vegetarian just because of these. A couple of cold, tough Italian rolls were tossed onto a plate with some chopped up, unsalted butter presented in a plastic cup. There was no effort to deceive us with an aroma of freshly baked bread. I found the food essentially bland. It needed salt, and here, salt was not provided on most of the tables, thereby having to ask for it. On the other hand, that is not necessarily a bad thing. After being subjected to unpalatable food caused by the heavy hand of many other chefs, I find lack of salt far a more forgivable sin. But Blackburn’s, please, don’t make me ask for a shaker, just make it discretely available. Our shared dessert, called Brazilia, was honestly the pièce de resistance for the entire meal. Rich, thick, dark molded chocolate with an intriguingly crunchy, hazelnut wafer center, accented with a passion fruit drizzle and blueberries. Sinfully good. Our meal totaled in the $ 80 range, and included one glass of wine, one salad, an appetizer, two entrees, and one dessert. Pricy, yet not rewarding with ambiance or mood. Perhaps a Sunday brunch visit would turn us around? So, next morning… yep…breakfast. One Buttermilk pancake. This was light and tender and on its own merit, worthy of a visit. Crab and Shrimp Omelet. Basically good, but Mr. B thought the good seafood flavor was overwhelmed by too much tomato and red bell pepper. I did like the Breakfast Sandwich constructed with bacon, cheddar, and a fried organic egg. The whole grain bread was light and delicious. But I could duplicate this at home. The odd thing, nowhere on the menu was there an option for a simple egg, sausage or bacon, potato and toast breakfast. You want that? You must order each item as a side. Strange and quite pricy going that route. That is why I ordered the sandwich instead. Coffee, pretty good. The sous chef was the one who kept running around filling everyone’s cup. Kudos to him and for teamwork. How do I say this? Good, but ultimately not for me. Yet, not to be ignored. At least try it once.
