This place deserves no business. I was driving my comparatively small Nissan Exterra eastbound on Ontario Ave in heavy Saturday afternoon traffic when I was surprised to see a large 25 foot freight truck tailgating me, no less than 8 inches from my rear bumper in moving traffic. Truck belonged to Gold ‘N West Surplus. I signaled driver with my arm to back off. This prompted him to get even closer to me. After I was able to change lanes exTeraand get out of this potentially deadly path this driver was creating, he pulled up next to me attempting to confront me. I had done absolutely nothing to provoke him. This driver (an extension of this company) put my life and the life of others at grave risk. If they do business in the manner that they share public roads with the rest of us it would be ill-​advised to do any business with them at all.
Driver was an older gentleman with closely cropped gray hair, glasses and thick mustache. Incident happened at about 2:05 PM Saturday, February 13^th on Ontario Ave in Corona near the 15 fwy

These guys are awesome. I had a power supply go out for a register terminal and it was a few days shipping online from amazon for $ 60. I decided to give Golden West a call and sure enough they had the exact part I needed for $ 20. I picked it up same day and installed it. All is working perfect.

They are fabulous! They really do pick up for free. I had a big old heavy television to get rid of. As requested I submitted my info on their website and it was picked up for free in less than a week! Thank you Gold’n West!

This place is sensational! I recently bought a new computer at Best Buy that came with a Geek Squad warranty that would allow me to service it and check out two more computers. I have an old computer with a Fire Wire connection that I need to run an expensive negative scanner. When that old computer started giving me trouble, I took it to Best Buy to see what the problem was. The Geek Squad got back to me after four or five days and told me to, «junk it and buy another computer as it was going to cost hundreds of dollars to fix including a new motherboard, ram etc, etc.» That was not going to work as I needed the Fire Wire connection.
I was checking around and somebody suggested I take it to Gold’n West Surplus. I took it there and after a couple of days, they got back to me and said it did not need a motherboard, ram or anything else the Geek Squad said it needed. All it needed was a new power source. I nearly fell over when I asked how much would it cost installed and was told $ 20.00! Yes, you read that right! Just $ 20.00 to fix when the Geek Squad said it would be hundreds of dollars.
That was over a month ago and the computer is running as good as new.
By the way, they also sell PC’s, laptops, monitors, printers and more at a fraction of the cost of what the big boys do. No need to head to Best Buy, Fryes or anywhere else ever again. This place has my business.
Another nice fact in dealing with them is they are right off the 15 freeway at Magnolia.
