Johnny’s Burgers No 5

So good and the service is great. Love their waffle breakfast and so did my kids. I have also tried their burger special which is pretty good and a friend recommend their pastrami so I know what I’m getting next time I come here

Good burger, decent breakfast burritos.

Disrespectful owner. Banned from Johnnys?! My bf and I have been regulars for almost 6 months we go at least once a week and usually order the same thing. My bf picked me up for his lunch break and johnnys messed up on his Burger but since he had to go back to work he gave the Burger away and told me to call from home. When I call I spoke to Jessica who told me I had to bring it back but I explained that he already drove back to work he was on break and she told me to bring the Burger back tomorrow then or whenever we come back. I thought this was very strange. I told her I didn’t have it so she said «good so you don’t have to come back then». Well I told my bf what happen today so he drove over there to speak with Jessica about his order. She was there and she told him she already explained what she explained to me. And Jessica rudely makes a scene by asking what we wanted as if like why we are there, so at this point we just want our money back. She gives us some money and in front of other customers tells us «okay leave and never come back, ever, okay ever, to any of my Johnny’s burgers»! Thank you Jessica, wow. You don’t treat paying customers like this! Never have I written a review until now. I truely regret all the money I’ve spent at your establishment. I used to advertise for you and recommend you to everyone and this is how you treat me.

Ive had the burgers and fries and now the breakfast and I think the food is very good. The service isnt always the friendliest but the food makes up for that. The portion sizes are huge, the dining area is clean and everything bright and inviting.

My first time at this place and the customer service was INCREDIBLE… The person who attended us was «Jeff» little did we know he was the owner but he went out of his way to make this experience lovely… We went in for their fruit parfait but they were out… So we ordered something else and once our order was ready Jeff had made us a delicious waffle with ice cream and fruit to make up for the inconvenience. The ham & egg croissant was very good as well! I’ll definitely be returning

Okay i personally did not eat either 1 of these dishes but I did purchase them for my hubby and son.
My son got the johnny’s omelet and he said it’s the best omelet, he’s ever eaten. I think wow! Only because he spent 5yrs in the minor league system, and ate at least in 20 different state’s. From North Carolina, to Seattle, so I’m impressed.
He said it was moist and basically it has everything but the kitchen sink thrown into it. It looks delicious!
My hubby said the pancakes are average, but the sausages were delicious! Bigger than the average size. Cooked/​fried perfectly with a pop when you bite into them. Hash browns, are very fresh but wished they would of fried them a little longer because when it was time to split the 1 order they argued over the browned portions.
Overall, two happy full as* men. Now their saying they need a nap! I seriously doubt it boy’s!!! ;)

I write this as a past regular hopeful that things will improve, but not coming back until they do. This place is delicious and the long time staff and managers couldn’t be nicer but during our last two visits we have had really confrontational servers, bad food, no manager on duty and really upsettingly bad service. Twice At 8:45 we have been informed the dining room is closing at 9 and that we need to pack up our unfinished meals immediately. That doesn’t make sense when we bring a party of 7, have a mom nursing an infant in our group and easily spend over $ 100 among us. In addition my son with a communication disorder’s drink was thrown out by staff mid refill– basically out of his hands into the trash, with some excuse mumbled of, «uh, I asked him.» Uh, he has a communication disability and thanks for calling him out for it. Our vegetarian guests were unable to order without huge headaches all because the server on cashier began refusing to sell vegetarian items because they were out of an ingredient which didn’t make any sense at all. We asked to speak to a manager on duty and were refused also. We really liked this place. Have easily gone here over 200 times in the years we’ve lived in the area, and are sad to see to go downhill like this.

While I wouldn’t drive here for this restaurant, I would stop by if I was in the area and wanted to relax in a country home style restaurant. But be warned that while the environment has a great feel, the food is so-​so.

The ppl at the drive thru were really rude. Took our order incorrectly and when we go to the pick up window she was really rude. I called to complain and again girl was rude on the phone, I asked to speak to the manager,. She said they didn’t have a manager just an owner, I asked to speak to her and they put another girl on the phone who was not the owner. She was rude as well. Just very bad customer service. Hate to write this review cuz the phone is delicious but those girls just got to go!

This is my Sunday breakfast spot everything is good here. I have no complaints. Nom nom nom

I would have given it no negative stars if I could. I honestly like the place and it has good food but the workers need to work on their customer service. The girl who took our order through the drive thru didn’t get our order right probably because of the faulty equipment they use for the drive thru. Once we were at the window she just had the snottiest attitude and made it seem like we didn’t order the forgotten item. She gave us the receipt to prove we didn’t order the item but I specifically remember we did. Then she told us if we wanted the item we would have to get back in line and order it again. As long as she’s working there we won’t be coming back.

I was pleasantly surprised I usually use the drive through but it was very nice and clean and rockin’ 50’s music.

I like this place my food is always hot it taste great the only problem I have is that the drive thru takes forever… other then that it’s good food in a ugly area but hey if the foods good why not lol.

I’ve only had the pastrami sandwich and breakfast burrito here. I know of a few regulars that love this place.
Both my items that I ordered where good and portions where satisfying, the customer service needs attention, the people taking your order seem like they are upset they’re working. I know of a few people that would love there job and do it with a smile

I’ve been a fan of this location from way back when it used to be Burger King LOL. Over the years this facility has transformed into different restaurants. I enjoy coming to Johnny’s as the food is good, good price, and I love their grilled chicken sandwich!
They’re not the best at cleaning but oh well. We do love Martha. Her service is great!

Tonight was my girlfriend and I’s first time trying Johnny’s Burgers in Corona. Very good food. Not quite as greasy and fake tasting as other fast food, and the portions are bigger than we expected. I got a chicken strip kid’s meal and it was the biggest kid’s meal I’ve ever gotten anywhere. 3 good sized strips, a large portion of fries (the same portion that comes with the regular meals, actually), and a 16oz drink — all for under $ 4. Nice crisp to the chicken strips, and well seasoned, could maybe be a tad bit thicker though. Fries are much better than your average fast food fry. My girlfriend got a hamburger meal and hers was just over $ 5. Her burger looked pretty good and smelled like it was straight off the grill, and not sitting out forever under a lamp like you get at other drive-thru’s.
My only complaint was that the wait was way longer than it should have been. Granted, you’re not going to McDonalds, it’s gonna take longer because they’re making your food to order, and there’s only a couple people cooking back there, but we sat in the drive through at the window after we paid for a good 10 minutes or so. That annoyed me.
Overall, ⁴⁄₅ stars because of the long wait. Will return though, and would recommend.

Food is decent! The breakfast options are the best! The burgers are over cooked and can sometimes taste rubbery. The fresh squeezed orange juice is what keeps me coming back for more for breakfast! Other then the breakfast the rest of the menu is bland and over priced. I’m always sitting in the drive thru for 20 — 30 minutes waiting for my food. If your going thru the drive thru be prepared to wait a while.

Been here a handful of times and always get the same thing: the Riverside Burger with a side of fried zucchini. I enjoy coming here on days when I dont want to travel to far because its close by and affordable. Plus you get a nice big juicy burger.
The place is clean, people are nice, and food is good.
Its worth a try if your looking for something new.
And you might just find yourself coming here more often.

Good amount of options, GREAT food, only problem is the drive-​thru/​service can be slow due to everything being made when you order it. Which is evident in the final product and not just a marketing tactic. I agree «the best Johnny’s» is located deeper in riverside but you can’t beat having a local one.

The burger tastes fresh! I try to avoid fast food places but there’s days that convenience is your friend so I decided to give this place a shot when my daughter was complaining how hungry she is and we’re on our way to do some grocery shopping at F4L.
I was really surprised how the burgers turned out. The price is reasonable and while it took a few minutes to get our burger, I would honestly say it was worth the wait.
