I have been here twice — both times, I had to go to a summer wedding and needed professional pampering before going. The first time I went, I was tended to fairly quickly and was in and out in an hour. This was in 2011. Upon my return in 2012, however, everything had changed. When I walked in, I was greeted by relatives and people I had grown up with(is there no other nail salon in Corona?), and informed that I would need to fill out a sheet so that I could wait for my turn. I did as I was told and sat around watching one of those 11AM novelas that they air all the time… I watched almost the entire episode until I was called inside. I’m pretty sure that an older lady who was on a first name basis with the manicurist skipped me, but that’s not the point. I go to do the first part(pedicure) after about an hour of waiting, and am happy that someone is finally tending to me. Then, the lady starts to speak to someone else — she gets up to help other people, and only half-willingly does she pay any attention to me. She did a wonderful job, but the constant back-and-forth was not really what I had expected. After my pedicure, I went to get a manicure, and mid-manicure the lady who was tending to me was called off by the owner who told her to go deal with ANOTHER client. The store owner finished my manicure even though one hand had already been done! What a mess… but it came out okay. I guess, for $ 18 I got what I paid for, but these people really need to work on their Customer Service skills.
