Been to this bar before bar rescue and after… Still pretty much the same exact bar

Well don’t no where to start but im going to tell everybody do not step foot in this place very very bad service the bartender put a 10.00 dollar tip for herself over charged drinks hust very bad so im telling everyone beware of this place and please don’t use your vank card or credit card so try to get a hold of nanager or owner and ashley says shes the boss and thats the one that riped us off then kept my sisters change very bad place i will make sure no one that i know goes there well feel for owner your business is not going to make it stop ripping people off

Worst place ever took my daughter there with her friend and some lesbian girl punched her in the face for no reason whatsoever we were just trying to have some fun security didn’t even try to stop her worst security ever will never ever go back there again the strippers were nice though

I like this spot since all the new upgrades! Went on Saturday and was empty. Good music selection good food and loved that it wasn’t packed. But would really like to know if they have actual live music and dancing

If you want to get a drink thrown on you by the bar tender this is the place to be did not by her a drink so she throws a drink at me misses and hits the person next to me then the security takes her side and suck punches my friend worst bar I have ever been to in my life

I’ve been here only once. My first experience wasn’t too bad. Just had a couple beers and it was a slow night. Decided that I wanted to take my friends here since they had pool tables. Had a couple of questions so I decided to call. These mother fuckers hung up on me not once but 4 times. By the 5^th time I heard the guy trying to hand the phone to someone else saying «I don’t know this dumb bitch needs help.» I thought that was rude so I hung up. I understand it’s loud in the bar but he wasn’t even trying to hear what I was saying and continued to hang up. Don’t plan on going there anymore.

I have been into racks approximately 4x. I love to shoot a game of pool and have a drink every once in awhile. I decided to to give racks another try even after their unfortunate stabbing in the parking lot that left 1 dead and 1 critically injured. My experience there was not the best. random people at the bar feel like its their home and can go into the back turn on deep fryers and start cooking at 12:15 a.m. When asked if they are serving food the answer was depends how much money you have in your pocket? I don’t think I would eat any type of food from this establishment due to the fact that the fryer grease smells like it was about 2 years old. And was such a strong nasty smell in the air that it burns your eyes, it made me finish my drink and leave. Furthermore nice and friendly bartender, although dancing to Disney movies and playing Lion King, Ariel and other kid Disney songs as loud as the jukebox would go. one after another after another. I think we try to get away from the childlike atmosphere when we go out to have a drink. So it was a little disappointing. I did read a few other reviews and they are right you will get a quick drink and good service from the bar. heavy pours but I would have to assume that that is because the bar is always empty not too many customers to tend too. Well I hope management can look at my issues and make this a more enjoyable place I’m sure business will get better. Thank you

Food is amazing! The best cheeseburger sliders we have ever had… And we order sliders everywhere. The Hawaiian bun, the fresh lettuce & tomato, cheese, and the juiciest burger! The bacon wrapped onion rings were unique and delicious, fried to perfection! Half off appetizers and $ 2 domestics during happy hour. We will definitely be back!

Am I invisible? 20 minutes for a beer while everyone is getting served asap. Maybe they were unsterstaffed. That almost ruined my night but the bartender made up for it I guess. We tried the fries which were pretty damn good. The atmosphere is pretty cool; my type of party. I liked how they had beer pong going and the music was cool.

Seen this bar since it was Angels and it’s def improved! Me and my BF had some food here. I had chicken wings and he had the heart attack burger and fries. They were hands down DELICIOUS! I don’t remember having a burger that good in years (had to steal a bite or two)! And the chicken wings were way better then I anticipated, yum! We were really delighted, and we bought it between 12pm-​2pm so it was all half off! I def recommend the food here, and the drinks were good prices as well. The service was great, the bar tender was friendly, thorough, and quick. I will definitely be back!

Cool spot. Not the best place to go but the best place to go with friends. Never dull karaōke is always fun here.

This place is still shity! There was a band that was supposed to play at 9pm and its still not on. My waitress Amber was amazing so 5 stars for her service. The management needs to sober up and put some effort in this place. It has improved (thank you bar rescue) but operations need attention… Hello hear me (and everyone else) knocking?!! Get your staff to clean the men’s bathroom. I agree most men can aim .why should anyone have to smell that.

Bought a groupon for this place and figured I’d try it since the name «angels» just reminds anyone from Corona of a trashy dive bar. We were helped by Amber who was super friendly and sweet. Our food, it did seem to take awhile BUT when they brought it out it was amazing. I’ve never seen burgers or sandwiches sooo big in my life. Good food, friendly bar tender and it was clean. (Minus the dive bar look the bathrooms have)

This is a good place to hang out grab a brew and a game shuffle board. Rrstrooms aren’t the greatest and smoking area seems like a good spot. Location is good other than the laws hanging out outside.

Among the name, this is better known as the former Angels Sports Bar. This is a bar on a budget with an older looking atmosphere is what you pay for. Cheap quality food but can’t beat cheap booze. This bar has been around since I was a kid and probably decades before. Is say call ahead since there are different themes or bands. It’s not upscale at all, but of you’re looking for that I dinner care feeling mood… This just might do it. Pool tables are I believe $ 1 and a designated indoor smoking room. And of course there is «dancing» next door.

Went here early afternoon with a few coworkers an was definitely a little scared to go in at first. I know in bar rescue they wanted it to be more inviting for females when entering but that is far from what I felt!
It’s very dark. Really dark. But the happy hour pricing is decent. We didn’t eat anything, just got some domestic beers for $ 2 and well drinks for $ 3. I think apps were half off as well.
The whole feel of the bar was very… well low class for lack of a better word. There was on older couple there when we first got there that made their way over to the pool table. And we all saw things we can’t unsee. The woman was clearly not wearing a bra with her tank top… or anything under her skirt. Mind you it was 3 pm on a Wednesday.
Would I go back? Maybe. As long as you go in a group of 3 or more I think it’s for the better!

service= worst I have had in ages.
walked into the place for the first time and did not even get noticed or acknowledged, I had to walk to the bar just to find out who I talk to to order the food for my groupon I purchased and she had no idea about how or what was up with the Groupon deal, which is fine because I understand as a business owner myself, that little things like not knowing how to work a Groupon happens, not a big deal to me. The big problem was 1 person (a bartender) was the only one in the whole place working, or that I could even tell was working.
Because I was already getting bad vibes from this place a said to myself why not play some pool and wait for her to find out what’s going on.
after I got the change for the pool table went to start the first game and what do you know, the pool table was not working properly. After about 3 rounds of pool the bartender came out from behind the bar to ask if we wanted to place the order for food. I said we will pass at the moment,
And I left after my 6^th game of pool.
Pros-​there are pool tables
Cons– Noone to service you if you come in and sit down at a table.
What ever you do, do not, DO NOT BUY A GROUPON for this place.

This is a great place to hang out. It’s not too loud or crowded at times. The bartenders are amazing. Amber is such a wonderful bartender, she so friendly and very caring. She remembers her regular customers no matter how long you have been gone.

This is what I would call an improved version of a dive bar.
They have like 6 pool tables so that’s definitely awesome if your looking to get some games started.
They have a stage that’s in the middle of the room for some reason it doesn’t seem like the ideal place for a stage but it seems to fit because of the way the building is.
When I first walked in it was soo dark that I could barley see where I was going I almost walked into the wall but I guess that’s because my eyes needed to adjust from just coming in from being in the bright sun.
The beer was super cold and a decent price all in all it was a positive experience coming to this bar.
One thing I did remember after coming here is that I had seen this bar on Bar Rescue it seems like it did help them a lot but they should seriously fix the lighting issue cause it was really dark and that’s coming from someone who loves the dark!

I had a really, really good time here last Saturday since we drove out to see Remy M.‘s cousin perform his set here.
What I don’t get is, what are people judging Racks against in Corona to give it a three star total? I would kill for a chill hangout spot like this closer to my neck of the woods. Five dollar cover, phenomenal food – seriously, the burger and the italian sub with balsamic dressing were unexpectedly amazing – and all the local talent you can shake a stick at. And, you can choose to sit on oversized leather couches by the stage to take in all the fun.
Now, I wasn’t necessarily thrilled by 5 – 10 minute breaks between acts and I hated the turned-​up speakers (my ears are in their thirties, so, you know…) but these are common bar annoyances we can all live with. The crowd is Corona-​esque, but if you’re a local, what the hell do you care?
I’m a fan and I wish more people were, too. It would be awesome to see a full house for the next performance we drive out for. Support your local bars, people!
