WaBa Grill

As a former employee of a waba grill, I expected the amazing results I’m used to when I ordered my half and half vegetable bowl. My friend got the plain chicken bowl. We got home (mind you, I’ve been bragging about waba for about 3 weeks now), and as I took my first bite, I noticed the meat was really fatty .(its usually cut off in the morning before grilling it). The man grilling, wasn’t wearing gloves, was grabbing raw chicken and throwing it on the grill. Although he wasn’t wearing gloves, I was like at least we get the freshest chicken there.NOPE. As I took a bite of the chicken, it was chewy. Why? It was raw as hell. I can still get sick thinking about it. The gal at the counter was acting like a rude bitch to the guy in front of me because she screwed up on what type of rice he wanted. She went to remake the bowls after huffing and puffing, and kept slamming the lid on the rice cooker. Her attitude threw us off, and my friend started to conversate about customer service with the man who had been treated so poorly after paying $ 30+ for his meal. The entire place was wrecked. Rice all over the tables, straw wrappers and waba sauce galore. I went to grab packets of their sauce and managed to get my hands drenched. The bitch with the fried blonde hairs attitude didn’t get any better when we had walked up there to order. (stop focusing on trying to look hot, you don’t and you work at waba grill sweetie) Took 20+ minutes to get our food. I can’t literally say I despise this Waba, and th work ethics that go along with it.

These employees are rude. Or disgruntled. Which ever, I will not be ordering here anymore. I’ve come here at lunch and at dinner and it’s pretty much the same every time. They turn off their open sign one hour before closing. I walked up at 7:59 PM as the blonde female turned off the open sign right in front of me and the door says that they close at nine. I’m sure the owner would like to know what his employees are up to. They clearly don’t want any more customers that last hour. The Asian fellow in the kitchen, which also helped me at the counter, seemed to be pretty annoyed that I was there to place an order. He quickly realized his demeanor once I got catty with him for his bad attitude and dumb look on his face.
If this was the first offense I might give this place three stars but because this is going on continuously, I give them one
Good luck to the owner! Especially because three other Waba Grill’s just popped up within a 2 mile radius. People have options and don’t want to deal with these low standard employees.

I love waba grill but this is the worst one I have been to, it’s really understaffed and has long wait times, portions are smaller compared to other locations, staff need training.

I came into the store, I came with my girlfriend and my brother and his girl friend, there was attitude towards the employee with us. When we wanted to sit down none of the tables nor silver ware was wiped down. Worst customer service ever. Okay now they mess up an order and they said okay cool fuck you lames !!!

This is one of the worst wabba grills I’ve ever been to. Usually I don’t like to complain because I myself am a manager at a fast food place so I understand that mistakes happen and stuff goes wrong every now and then but that shouldn’t excuse the employees here to be this rude. Today would be the 6^th or 7^th time I go since they opened and every single time I come out complaining about one thing or another. They forgot about my order today and instead of letting me know it would take longer the girl just told me «salmon takes longer». I knew that wasn’t the case i was only waiting for one of them to say something but instead the guy hands me a cup and doesn’t say anything? I don’t need a cup I need my food because I have to go to work. It just seems ridiculous to me that every time I go they have horrible customer service and I am left waiting longer than I should. I was there for a total of 27 minutes. I could’ve gone to the one on hidden valley and it would’ve been faster. Like I mentioned before, I am very understanding about situations like forgetting an order or running late on orders because we are busy but I do not understand how employees can be so rude about it without saying anything and just having customers wait for long periods of time! I will no longer be coming here.

Is there any tofu or anything for that matter in their miso soup? All I got was broth, was pretty disappointed.

Waba Grill is amazing! I was so happy when I saw the Waba Grill sign «coming soon»… Waba Grill is so much better than Flame broiler. I always get a beef veggie bowl with a load of green onions, always well cooked. :)

The Beef looked and tasted like alien jerky food was cold even the brown rice. I never eat the beef and I know why very Nasty beef, and tasted like pine-​Sol cleaner. Unusual for this franchise must just be Corona location

I hate leaving bad reviews but man this is it, every time I come here the latin guy with the little poker hat and phở hawk looking hair do is always massing orders up, burn the food or doesn’t give you enough or just flat out keeps making more food because he messes it up and throws away the old one… how the f are you still working there!!! I buy food at least two times a day because of how my work is and any waba grill is usually my go too, not this one anymore that’s for sure… gave you a shot 4 times to many… will return if he isn’t there and things change.

The salmon bowl is to die for and with the brown rice. I think it is waaaaay better than flame broiler. I haven’t tried anything else, but I don’t mind. The girl working the register wasn’t the friendliest but she is also not the worst I have experienced either.

I was there last night for dinner. Horrible and will never return. Reasons:
1. Food was cold
2. The place was a mess. No where to sit down. Each table was not wiped down and cleaned. Stuff on the floor and water all of the floor.
3. Horrible customer service. They didn’t smile when they greeted me and was not pleasant when they did speak to me.

I love their food but I hate how some locations honor their military discount and some locations don’t! They should all follow one rule because then we know which locations to go to.

My son has been on a Waba kick for the past few months. He called and asked if I was hungry and of course I said heck yeah…
Knowing that I’m on a low sodium diet, he made sure they didn’t glaze my salmon with all that yummy teriyaki glaze.
The salmon portion was large, not sure if that’s typical … if so, it’ll be awesome! I guess I’ll find out with my next order. Good food especially for the price.

Waba never fails to satisfy. Great food. Pollo bowls done right.

Food was fresh and yummy but the customer service skills from the girls was very poor. Waiting 5 mins before getting someone to take our order. They were to busy chatting between each other.

First time eating at a Waba Grill. They are popping up everywhere and nice to see one right near my home. Nice large seating area, mix of booths and tables. I ordered the Half-​Half Veggie Bowl only, which is beef, chicken, veggies, and rice. Option of white or brown rice is available. Tastes good and was filling. Overall very happy with the place and the food.

New place just opened yesterday! It’s clean big and the staff is friendly. The parking is a issue so don’t be surprised if you have to walk a bit but you wouldn’t mind doing that if you were eating here
Wabas are popping up everywhere so get familiar with the food it’s good and fresh

VEGANS AND VEGETARIANS BEWARE!!!
This place serves tofu which is great since my daughter and I don’t eat meat. We were excited that they finally opened, we went in and ordered the veggie bowl with tofu only to find out that they cook the tofu TOGETHER with the CHICKEN and use the same utensils. When I saw that I declined the tofu. They all looked so confused when I told them why we couldn’t eat it. This makes absolutely no sense. I would think only common sense would tell them that they shouldn’t cook the tofu and meat together. Oh well lesson learned.
