Stopped by for breakfast with hubby. Food was good, though the crepes were a little thicker than I anticipated. Still pretty good food overall. Service was great. Would recommend trying it out. The crepes are huge though so we didn’t order a dessert crêpe.

Came to check out the Hotel and noticed this little restaurant on our way to the hotel with outside seating. My husband and I are suckers for anything French so we decided to stop for some dessert(we just had lunch). Ordered the sugar and butter crêpe and the lemon and sugar crêpe. Both were good. The only downside are the fact that they do not have a restroom(they direct you to the hotel restroom) and their prices. Two simple crepes are $ 17.28 without tip. The crepes in Paris cost about that(if not less). The server was very friendly and efficient.

Great food, great location, great service and adorable ambiance! A new favorite! I recommend any of their breakfast crepes. I had the SoCal breakfast, and who I dined with had a vanilla and maple. Both were to die for! Will be back again!

Had a groupon and contacted the restaurant to make a reservation. Was really accomodating with the reservation. Arrived at location and was greeted by excellent staff. Food was great. Wife and I had a really good time.

This wonderful little restaurant is walking distance from the famous Hotel Del Coronado. I’ve eaten here several times. The food and friendly service is wonderful! One of the dessert crepes I ordered was made with butter and sugar. The waiter suggested that I try it with a little cinnamon sprinkled on top. He brought some to my table so I could try it. What a great suggestion! It was delicious!

Came to the Coronado location using a Groupon. I made a reservation a few days earlier and we were seated quickly inside. The Groupon came with 2 drinks, 2 cold crepes, 2 dessert crepes(amazing!), and a crusty bread appetizer with olive spread. Overall I feel like I got my money’s worth for a tasty meal with great service. I would happily return soon!

I won’t say its completely bad but its not worth the drive into Coronado. Its edible. Crepes were to thick. They taste more like burrito pancakes. On the side note, an acquaintance of the employee was hanging out with her two kids who had the run of the place. Not too loud but loud enough that it was difficult to enjoy the meal. The kids were especially loud when mom was distracted on the phone. Whole experience was horrible. Younger kid is crying now because older brother did something. Mom didn’t say anything to them.

Came here with a generous groupon on hand that included an appetizer, a cold crêpe wrap, a sweet crêpe(dessert), and a french limonade(sparkling). I had arrived early because I did not want to risk PARKING too much. Apparently it was not that bad. Only had to park a few houses down. The establishment was welcoming and did have a bit of a lively atmosphere. The interior reminded me of other Mediterranean homestyle décor restaurants. The noise level was faily calm. Nothing to interrupt my meal. Only issue I had was the heat… the place should include air conditioning. FOOD: Came out quick. Each plate prior to dessert was light. The Tapenade Olive Spread was a simple dish that hit the spot. Very light and delicious. Definately going to be looking into making the spread for those quick bites at home. The Turkey Crêpe Wrap was another light entrée with a blend of light ingredients of those one would find in a salad. It came with a custom dijon mustard that accent the turkey wraps perfectly. And for dessert the Nutella Crêpe. There has never been a bad experience with a Nutella crêpe; there are always better ones. This crêpe definitely hits the sweet spot and is a bit difficult to not finish. It includes an entire crêpe and has a even balance of Nutella where one does not overpower the other. It does not come with bananas or strawberries or ice cream. Those are additional, but extremely worth it. SERVICE: The staff/waitress attended my table in a timely matter while working a semi-busy Saturday morning. No issues with the order.

This is by far the worst expensive crepes I ve ever eaten. Okay I am French and I understand that you need to customize your crepes to American taste but come on! Thick as a tortilla and tasteless. If you really want to taste a real buckwheat crêpe drive south 5 more minutes to Imperial beach pier and try Marc’s crêpe(real French cook) at his small beach eatery«Par Amour» for 5 $!!

If you don’t know what crepes look like and supposed to taste, then yes, you may like or even love it. Unfortunately, I do and this place scores close to zero stars for the food. The place: It is close to the Hotel del and the beach, which is good. The restaurant interior has very little decoration, which is fine, but the tables are sticky, which gives the perception that they used unclean towels to wipe them. The food(the most important part of any restaurant review, IMO): 1. The crepes are thick like pancakes. Crepes are supposed to be thin and have the feeling of melting in your mouth. 2. The buckwheat crepes had no taste. If «cardboard» were a flavor, these crepes would have that flavor. 3. The sweet crepes are your teeth’s worst nightmare. They are too sweet. 4. Prior to ordering, the price for the crepes seemed to fit the Coronado tourist price. However, since bad food was served, then sure, the price had become«overpriced» and«outrageous». If I were Monsieur Fabrison, I would re-train my cooks. Maybe I would take them to the land of crepes, Bretagne, France, on my vacations, and show them how proper, delicious crepes are made. Sadly, this is definitely the only time my family and I will eat at this creperie again. Won’t even try the other location. First impressions are very important.

I found this place through Groupon, and I have to say that I couldn’t be more disappointed. I would say 95% of the time, Groupon finds new places for me that I would go back to. The service was awful. The Groupon states that you will get French Lemonade. They didn’t have any lemonade. Okay… Sometimes we can’t always get what we want. I ordered the Veggie cold crêpe as part of the groupon. Half way through, I realized there was no avocado in it. When asked about the avocado, the girl came back with«Oh…apparently we are out of avocado tonight.» Dessert was the highlight. Both my daughter and I ordered the dark chocolate crêpe. This was quite delicious. However, when the other waitress brought out the dessert, she asked if I wanted to take home my left over veggie crêpe. I said there was no reason to just take home lettuce. I told her that they should have informed me prior to making my food that there was no avocado available. I would have made a different choice. There were some half-hearted apologies for the lemonade and the avocado from the other waitress. I would never pay full price for this place, as everything is over priced to begin with. Due to the poor service, I just won’t be back.

Whoa. I just had the most delicious crêpe I’ve ever tasted. It was light, flavorful, and the taste of their lemon & sugar crêpe was quite exquisite! The staff of this establishment are so warm and friendly. We felt right at home. The place is set in an old Spanish style shop. Warm colors and bright tabletops make this place a delightful stop. I enjoyed practicing my Spanish with the waitress, but they all speak perfect English as well. I fear I’ll never be able to become a fluent Spanish speaker without at least trying to order in a different language. But as soon as they ask me question, then I get flustered and revert back to English. The food is fabulous, the service is wonderful. The only thing is they don’t have an their own bathroom, but there is one nearby in the hotel lobby of El Cordova. So it’s all good! Outdoor seating as well.

We came here by happenstance, and it was still open at 6pm on a Thursday. I liked the menu options provided, and since it was too hot to eat inside, we enjoyed our dinner outside. I really enjoyed La Polette, the turkey crêpe, more than La Galette, the ham and mushroom crêpe. But both were flavorful. I would have preferred a thinner crêpe, however. The crêpe mix reminds me of injera, an ethiopian bread. Prices are reasonable for very filling food!

The place is small but the prices and quality of food and service are great. I had the Turkey Club sandwich and my girlfriend had the So– Cal Breakfast crêpe. Both were excellent. Parking nearby can be tough on weekends but after you eat you can visit small shops just a few doors down. Two blocks from the beach and the Hotel Del Coronado.

Fabrison’s Café has the best breakfast crepes on the island. My favorites is «Fabrice’s Breakfast Crêpe» it has sausage, beacon, cheddar cheese all tucked inside a warm crêpe. Great place to come inside after a morning run or to visit as a tourist – it’s literally right next to Hotel Del Coronado and inside el Cordova Hotel! The staff is super friendly and I heard that they give cooking and French lessons too! Don’t forget to ask for the Dark Chocolate crêpe to top off your morning breakfast! –Prince’s Daily Journal

Very much against my better judgment, my wife really wanted to return to fabrisons and give them one more shot. Low and behold, we found a groupon for their Coronado location and purchased it. HUGEMISTAKE!!! I posted a review about our previous visit to the one in little Italy and this seems to be a normal practice for them. I have seen plenty of complaints about closing early or bad service, etc. However this one is on a entirely new level. The groupon is for a meal for two people. States that the meal is worth $ 56 and you pay $ 30 for the voucher. States clearly in black and white as to what you get for that price. 2 sweet crepes 2 cold crepes 2 drinks 2 tapenade We arrived at 3:50 pm on Monday. The café was entirely empty. I told the server we had a groupon. The first thing out of her mouth was«you’re suppose to make a reservation, but since we are not very busy, I will go ahead and take care of you». Really? How humbling of you to «go ahead» and take care of us seeing how you are completely EMPTY!!! I am pretty sure servers make their living mostly from Tips. She gave us our menu and we decided to order one roast beef cold crêpe and one turkey cold crêpe. The server then said we only get to order one. As we spent the next several minutes going in circles, I chose to walk out of this place. I had spoken to the owner a couple months ago about the poor service and I told him then I would not return. I can only say this is my fault for attempting to try again. The attitude of this place and people that work here comes directly from this owner. The server told me flat out that she cannot and will not honor what the groupon clearly states. At one point, she even said the owner is an idiot, which I definitely agree with. However, I still felt that we were entitled to receive exactly what the ad states. I took the menu and using my phone, I totaled up 2 drinks, 2 cold crepes and 2 most expensive sweet crepes. $ 43 before tax. So the tapenade(which is not on the menu) and tax is the remainder of the $ 56 «groupon value». Guess what people, your café is empty for a reason. And as last time, we ate up the street and when we were done eating, we had to drive past and now it is 6pm and still empty. Every other place was getting busy for dinner. Do yourself a huge favor and avoid this place at all cost.

Tucked away on a quiet street corner while still having a view of the Hotel Del Coronado, we were able to sit outside without having to deal with too much foot traffic. Coffee: Vanilla Nut was average Hungry Bear Crêpe(his): I only got to try a little, but it was flavorful and paired really well with the aioli. Chorizo Crêpe(mine): Its soyrizo! I loved that this place served soyrizo — its a much healthier option without losing flavor. I just wished that they added some green onion or cilantro to the scramble inside the crêpe itself. The crêpe was a bit on the thicker side. Service: Quick, friendly, and efficient.

I’ve got two nephews, aged 8 and 10. They aren’t going to wait for 40 minutes at the Hotel Del Coronado for a seat at the buffet, even though the younger one says that buffet is his favorite food. So we went searching, on Unilocal, for an alternative breakfast place… enter Fabrison’s French Creperie Café nestled on a quiet side street. There was no wait for a table and the nephews love the idea of a French pancake. I had the Fabrice’s Breakfast Crêpe, which is basically a breakfast burrito, but in a crêpe. The nephews had sweet nutella and banana crepes. Hey, they can have all the sugar they want… my sister will have to deal with it. The food was good and filling. The décor is rustic with distressed furniture, but it’s very comforting like an old French farmhouse. I believe that the waitress was French, but unlike the French, the service was very friendly and helpful. However, like the French, the service was a little slow. Bön appétit!

The hungry bear crêpe was surprisingly hearty and delicious. Inside the crêpe was bacon, ham, sausage, egg, cheddar, and harissa, with a side of house aioli. This spot is neatly tucked away in a relatively quiet spot on Coronado. While dining outside, there there is also a view of the famous Hotel Del Coronado. I will come here again if/when I am ever in the area again.

My boyfriend and I stumbled upon this place during our mini vacay to Coronado Island. We saw it on our first day there but decided to eat there on our last day for breakfast. For some odd reason, I woke up wanting a «light» breakfast and crepes were the first thing that popped into my head, so we took a 5 minute walk outside of our hotel room to this comfy creperie. First and foremost, I was impressed with the comfy atmosphere. The breeze was blowing through the open doors and windows. The service was immediately friendly and welcoming. After perusing through the menu, I noticed a wide array of options from sweet to savory, breakfast to make-your-own crepes, but most of all I was impressed by the gluten-free buckwheat option which I hardly see at most creperies. This was like music to my ears being that I’m gluten-intolerant, it was empowering knowing that I had the power to choose any of the crepes on my menu and order them gluten-free. They got an extra star, just for that. I ordered a «healthy» breakfast crêpe with a side of soy chorizo, an Orangina, and a mint tea. It sounds like plenty, but I was able to finish the whole thing and bike for 5 miles afterwards with no cramps. If I ever end up back on Coronado Island, I would love to revisit this place. My mouth is watering from just thinking about my yummy crêpe. Bön appetit!
