Launderland of Coronado

Nice that is open 24 hours. I only used driers they didn’t have a weird smell like some laundromat driers do and my items dried quickly. (The phone number posted on Unilocal however is not the contact information for the laundromat)

I gave this four stars because, though it is average and indeed sorely in need of an update, the machines work, including change and soap. Neighborhood is nice and I didn’t feel nervous at all. Of course I live in the «hood», Denver proper, and this is actually nicer than what’s available to us. Guess it’s all in ones perspective.

This place is not fancy, but what laundromat is? There are lots of machines and the change machine worked. I needed to wash some filthy clothes so we wouldn’t fly home with them, and this place got the job done for less than what I would have had to pay the hotel.

This is the only laundromat in Coronado, thank God it is open late. After returning from a day at SeaWorld with my twin toddlers I was exhausted looking at the piles of laundry, but I had to do it. Thank God I didn’t have to drive outside Coronado. The laundromat has lots of washers and dryers, you can get change and detergent from vending machines — awesome! I was nervous because of safety, but there were a few women who came right around the same time. Coronado is a sleepy town, no street lights, so I was nervous. But an hour or so later all my laundry is done while my kids are sleeping. The place needs updating, but a tourist can’t complain. Just having a laundromat open at odd hours is enough. I was debating leaving my clothes there and having my husband pick them up from the dryer, but I was scared that my things would get stolen since anybody can come in. I would be scared if I was alone since it was night and there was nobody else around. I am not sure how secure these places are, but nothing bad happened. Some very dirty clothes didn’t get 100% clean but I didn’t mind, the fact that there was a ²⁴⁄₇ laundromat was enough. Within 1.5 hours I was in and out. Highly recommend. They also have parking which is awesome, I didn’t want to look for street parking in the dead of the night with no street lights.

This is my new spot. I miss Spin Cycle, but coming here makes so much more sense seeing as I work on the island. I can wash my clothes before or after and not feel like I’m going out of my way before going home. It’s a little dated, but never packed when I go. The white HE washers did not clean the load I put in there last time. Everything came out just as dirty as when it went in. There was no out of order sign on it, so regardless of if it was, I would suggest not using them.

Have no choice to go here since it’s now the only place on Coronado to do laundry.
It’s not the best but it beats going to National City or IB.
Coronado Bay Club machines where I live are too small and don’t grantee to work properly.
I do like that if a machine eats your money because it does not function properly you do get a refund if you place a complaint in the suggestion box and leave your name and address.
Parking is a nightmare so the wife and I go late at night since it’s open 24 hours.
