I work right around the corner from this place and thought I’d give it a try. The first time I came in they were all super nice and friendly. I got a fill and gel set. It was done perfectly. My second time coming I got a pedicure. Probably the BEST pedicure I’ve ever had in my life. They even gibe you the option of additional extra 10min massage, well worth it if you really want to relax. Overall I love this place. Defiantly recommend this place to people looking for great service and peace of mind !

Love them! Lan does an amazing job every time — and she’s hilarious! She’s fast but doesn’t rush, always makes sure everything is perfect. I’ve tried a lot of nail places in the area and Paradise Salon is my number 1!

Do not go here. Do not spend your hard earned money. I could give myself a better pedicure at home.
My mom wanted to go here because it looked quaint and cute. Called ahead for 2 mani/​pedis. Arrived 5 min early. Waited 15 min to be seated at pedicure station. Water was cold. Waited 10 — 15 min before technicians approached us for service. Requested warmer water and was given cold water and an eye roll. My massage chair didn’t work. The technician appeared either ill or having just woken up from a nap at 4:30pm. Her touch, to say the least, was as minimal as possible. Not at all thorough or with any intent. When I mentioned she had missed exfoliating my entire right heel she and the other technicians spoke to each other then rolled her eyes and continued. I declined the manicure I had planned. My mother stayed to finish her shellac removal. The technician was using her finger nails to scrape off old excess polish. Gross. As I left the three women stared at me, spoke to each other then rolled their eyes and laughed as my sat and watched. Rude and poor service.

Lan and Lisa are the best at the paradise nail salon. They are very polite, professional and dedicate. I love to get my nails done by them

I have been to only 8 nail salons in my 6 years of living in Marin and every time I leave with bleeding sore cuticles and a weird feeling that the actual service was not done in a sanitary manner but not at paradise salon!!! I never felt rushed. They did such a clean and thorough job on my mani pedi, And the best part was the massage, so relaxing I almost fell asleep! I am a major clean freak and have seen some pretty disgusting and unsanitary things at the nail salons I have visited in the past. Paradise is super clean and everything is up to State Board standards. All the ladies that work there are super nice and welcoming. I have been to this nail salon once before about 3 years ago and had the exact same same experience so I love that they are consistent. Also I always get jet black on my toe nails and it was perfect both times. I rarely get my nails done because it’s just too pricey but when I do decide to treat myself I will always go to Paradise Salon!

Best nail salon in Marin! Great service and nail color lasts longer than any other place I’ve been to. Highly recommend to anyone looking for the best of the best!

I love paradise salon and especially Lan. She is the best manicurist I’ve ever had. She does a really great, detailed job that really lasts. Other places I’ve gone, I’m lucky if my manicure lasts 2 weeks since I am rough on my nails. When Lan does my nails, they’ll easily last 3 weeks. She really cares about doing a good job for her customers. She’s also great at helping pick out colors. She picks out colors that I would never think to try and they look awesome. In sum highly recommend this place and especially Lan! I always call first and request her.

Positives: The salon is very cute. The lady who did my pedicure was gentle and her lines on my french tip was amazing. I would only come back for her.
Cons: The salon is small. There are only 2 stations for manicures and do most of their work at the pedicure area. I felt like the lady, who did my gel manicure rushed my work. I chose a dark purple opi tone that applied streaky. Instead of suggesting another color, she went to apply 5 coats making my nails very thick. She also was very stiff forcing my hand in awkward positions. She told me to relax, which is hard to do when im uncomfortable. Once she was done with my manicure, she grabbed the pillow on my legs and threw it to another chair. Then told me to pay. I couldn’t even look at my phone for 2 minutes while my pedicure was drying. I also had a friend with me. I attempted to wait for her as her manicure was finishing up, but you can feel it when you are not wanted. So I waited outside.
I’m not sure why they were so rude. I was polite the whole time and even tried to make conversation. Despite the annoying experience I gave them a tip.
Ugh, but i definitely will not be coming here when I’m in the corte madera area.

In my twenty-​three years of walking this earth, I only recently decided it was time to know what a pedicure was. Holy moly, this place set the bar high.
The shop is clean and nicely decorated. (They use plastics in the foot tubs for sanitation reasons, I was very pleased to see this right off the bat) They had me pick out my polish and sit down in their massage chair. They offered me water and magazines. I declined because I was so absorbed in watching everything going on.
I’ve since had a couple more pedicures at different places and now I know how good this place really was. The «extras» at a lot of other salons are standard here. There was a quick little foot massage, about 10 minutes. A sugar scrub for my feet and legs. And I feel like there was something else, but I can’t remember. Other salons tend to charge for these things. These guys didn’t. My pedicure was like $ 36 or so and you could upgrade to mani-​pedi for something like $ 42.
The color looked great, they paid attention to detail. I have ever so slightly ingrown toenails on my big toes which can make getting the edges tricky. Not only did they paint the edges, they also shaped them so that they were growing in a proper way.
As a bonus, I ran into my high school Spanish teacher. I don’t think this is standard for everyone, but it was a happy treat. ;D

I’ve been coming to Paradise salon for over a year & I have never left without full satisfaction all the way around. I’ve seen «Lann» for 7 years at a different location and was delighted to see her start here shortly after I started coming in. Lann in particular is precise, thorough, detail oriented, & wants to make sure everything is p e r f c t while doing so in a timely fashion which is hard to come by in this field. I’ve had pleasant experiences with all of the workers here but in particular I would recommend Lann. Love love love.

I decided at the last minute to stop by for a manicure and was so impressed, I stayed for a pedicure too! This has been the best mani/​pedi I’ve had and the most relaxing massage chair experience. The women were all welcoming and nice and they keep a very clean salon. I thought the prices were very reasonable. I highly recommend.

This place is amazing! The reviews are spot on! I wish it was close enough for me to go on a regular basis. I had to have my car serviced at a dealership in Marin and needed a mani/​pedi. I’m very picky about who does my nails so I went searching for salons on Unilocal.Found this one. The nail techs are so friendly and welcoming. They took the time to get to know me and my daughter. We had appts and were started right away. The service is incredible. This is possibly the best shellac mani/​pedi I’ve ever had. A must-​go! You will not be disappointed. I can’t wait to return. A little pricey, but well worth it.

Great salon! I have been coming here regularly for the past year for gel manicures and pedicures, almost always with Lan who is friendly, takes her time to thoroughly clean up my cuticles, and is attentive to detail. Her mani pedis last 3 – 4 weeks, and definitely longer than when I have had other manicurists! Today Lan did a beautiful purple black, and she did a gorgeous French gel manicure for my wedding earlier this year while two of the other ladies took care of my mother (who was also pleased). The salon has a relaxed environment with fresh flowers (beautiful orchids today), calming music, message chairs and bottled water which is a nice touch. I have tried other salons in the area, feel that the Paradise Salon is the best, and have been consistently very satisfied with the services.

My first visit to this salon a few weeks ago was fantastic. I would have given it 5 stars had I thought to review it then.
The day I first went to the salon I was so embarrassed by the flea bites on my ankles (flea infestation in my house from a dying cat), which were driving me crazy. I asked the woman who was doing my pedicure not to give me any foot massage as that would only irritate the bites. She apparently didn’t understand me, and brought out some kind of oatmeal scrub and began rubbing it on my feet and legs. OMG NO! I asked her to please stop, and she did.
The manicure and pedicure turned out to be fantastic. They really did a nice job, and I left feeling so relaxed and ready to resume battle with the fleas. I thought I had found my perfect nail place.
Fast forward 2 weeks. I went in for a mani-​pedi. The pedicure was perfunctory at best and the worker not friendly. They do a very quick scrub on the bottoms of your feet but pay no further attention to any calluses/​buildup, which is what we all get on the bottoms of our feet from normal wear and tear, shoes, etc. Nobody seems to perform this service anymore. They are concerned with the nails only.
I still like it better than many other places just because it is quiet and somewhat tranquil (not a lot of talking back and forth between the workers in another language).
Their prices did go up in between my two visits. I had seen the notice of the increase when I was first there. I think I paid $ 42 the first time, and the price now is at least $ 45.

I called 10 minutes before I came in and they were gracious and accommodating.
Wanted a French Gel manicure initially but after Lan showed me the beautiful summer colors, I changed my mind and went with a summer pastel orange. LOVE.
Lan paid so much attention to detail and taught me that the longevity of gel manicures usually depends on how throughly the cuticles are cut down.
I also got a great 10 min neck and shoulder massage that put me into that half sleep/​half blissed-​out dreamy state.
So satisfied, will always stop by Paradise when I’m in the North Bay and my nails need TLC.

Love this place! Only place I know to get SNS pink and white organic, super strong and doesn’t destroy my nail underneath. Elaine and all the girls are very good at what they do and always make me feel welcome. Great pedicures too!

I came here today for a mani pedi, last minute. They saw me right away. One woman focused on my hands, while another woman focused on my feet. They were both really nice, and gave good massages. I opted for the extra foot and extra shoulder massages, each for an extra $ 10. For my hands, I got a French manicure with gel polish. And for my feet, I got a pedicure with pretty pink polish. Both look great. They shaped my nails well. And they check to make sure you like it. I will return again. I like the way they run the place, the people are very kind, and their touch is good.

Just Ok. If you need to get your nails done and your regular place has no slots. this is your place. A little pricey for the gel manicure — but it did last for two weeks. I lived over in Vietnam for 5 years right after college and speak fluently, so I was quite disappointed when they were talking about me rudely. I didn’t say anything because I didn’t want a crappy job– but I can say this. I will not be returning. Shame on you ladies.

Had a manicure today with Lan and it was one off the best I’ve ever had. She is very friendly and has strong hands — really great with the massage. And she went much longer than most. I am pretty rough on my hands and she got them back in shape and feeling good.
My wife got a pedicure and she really loved hers as well. I definitely recommend this place!
AND they offer free wifi!!!

My husband works across the overpass, and I’ve been looking for a place that does a decent Mani/​Pedi that’s not too expensive.
It was just over $ 40 for a mani/​pedi, it’s been about a week since I got it and I have some minor chips on my mani, but overall, it’s held up pretty well.
