the darker beers are better than the lighter beers in my opinion. i like this place. it always has a nice vibe and live music on friday is awesome!!!

We don’t live locally but try to pick up Red Dragon ale to bring ‘home’ for a visit when we are in town visiting friends and family. We highly recommend giving this place a try. (and try the Red Dragon ale!)

Very cool local brewery off Main Street. Great vibe inside with sublime-​ish music playing today and many beer choices. Felt cool and relaxed and I didn’t expect this quaint/​chill feeling from the outside. I wanted to hangout here all day. You can do a flight for 6.50, which comes with 5 samples or they have a rotating tap with $ 3 draughts each Saturday.
I had to get the pumpkin ale, and it was awesome! Creamy, smooth pumpkin flavor with just the right amount of spices but not too spicy. I loved it! Very easy drinking… it felt like I was having dessert.
Can’t wait to come back next time we’re in town visiting.

We stopped in for the beer sale and ended up staying for the beer flight — $ 6.50 for five 5 ounce beers. A very tasty selection. Staff was courteous, friendly and helpful.

I have gone here a couple of times when I’m in the area. Cortland Beer Company has an amazing atmosphere, great bar staff, and impeccably great tasting beer! My personal favorite being ‘The Naked Lap’, all of their beer appeals to any type of beer drinker.
This is a must go if you’re in the area!

AMAZING atmosphere!!! Great beer, great workers. I’ve been going here a lot more lately but went there on Wednesday with some friends. Our bartender stayed late and put on the Ranger game for us without even asking. $ 2 Low gravity beers!!! Great prices and great place to go with friends and family!

Nice clean facility and good beer. The pumpkin was a little overwhelming with spice but the lager and red dragon beer were excellent. This would have been a five star rating except for the sullen girl who was minding the store. She acted as if she was put out by having to wait on us and didn’t seem able or willing to answer questions about the products.

Some friends and I visited Cortland for Greek Peak. After, we were pretty starved so went downtown to get a bite to eat. Instead, we saw this brewery and immediately decided beer trumps fiber. This place was a memorable stumble!
Beer tastings are dirt cheap ($ 1) and the service is great. The employees (also owners) were having a good time with us – really friendly and approachable. There was a chemist on hand who talked about the process of brewing. These people are really into their specialty. The place is pretty small with few seats. Also, the brewery closes very early (7pm on a Friday) but it’s worth the visit and purchase.
I recommend the espresso beer and the Jack Daniels enthused beer. Buy a growler (mine was 5.99 but price varies by beer) so you can return and fill it up!
