Food is fantastic and if you’ve seen the recent rainbow bagel phenomenon down in Brooklyn you can get them here. I’ve had both and these by far are superior to Brooklyn’s. However the last time I was there the customer service leaves something to be desired. The jerk behind the counter took people at whim rather than who was first in line bc if you got in his face you got service before anyone else. Great food but if the service continues this way the place will go downhill fast.

The lox and cream cheese didn’t do anything special for me. The lox seemed like it was the reject kind. It was pretty thick, and ice cold. Came out to 10 dollars. Seems high for value. I won’t be back.

First time visit was satisfying. If you like salt bagels go here. Staff fine and seemed to relate well. I will return again

Ordered a bagel toasted with cream cheese and my bagel was taken and put in the toaster. The employee then took a phone call and completely forgot about the bagel until she was asked by another employee what this random bagel sitting on the counter was. Meanwhile probably 5 customers were helped in between, they then slapped some cream cheese on and handed me a cold bagel. Customer service leaves a lot to be desired, bagels are good though.

Average bagels Poor pastries Horrible slow service And some, not all, of the staff have an attitude that really makes me want to find another place But unfortunately I continue to go because it’s the best in the area

You will not find more discriminating breakfast sandwich consumers in Westchester, but we were more than satisfied with the Daily Bagel’s rendition. The bagels were fresh and toasted just so, the eggs were fluffy, and the sausage patties crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. We question the decision to put the home fries inside the sandwich(and wish they had been better seasoned), but we are willing to chalk that up to artistic license. We didn’t sample the full array of baked goods they have in the display cases, but the cinnamon roll was darn good. Fluffy, well spiced, and lots of frosting. When warmed, it is a thing to behold. The whole bill for two fully loaded breakfast sandwiches and a pastry was under $ 13, which was a fantastic deal. We were less than impressed by the online ordering system. We put the order in for a 10 a.m. pick-up time, and gave them our credit card info to charge it. When I got there to pick up the order, I found that no one had bothered to check the computer, nor had the system actually charged the credit card. In other words, I might as well have just shown up and ordered at the counter. One of the staff asked my server in an exasperated tone whether I had called in to confirm. First, I’m standing right there, so please don’t be rude. Second, what purpose does an online system serve if I still have to call it in? To the restaurant: please assign someone on your large staff to monitor the online feed. In defense of my server, he executed the order to the letter asap, and I was still in and out in 10 minutes. If it would have been a large order, though, the outcome would have been less happy. Next time I’ll just show up and order on the spot.

The staff is great and the pastries are dangerous. The bagels are really good – good size, texture and flavor. They aren’t city bagels but this isn’t the city. So far this is the best bagel I’ve had in northern Westchester.

This used to be a good place to go for breakfast. Lately the service has been rather shoddy. This past weekend I went there, there were 2 tables seated after us, they were served before us. The server was frazzled, my order was wrong and the coffee cups and water glasses were dirty. There was another customer nearby who complained about dirty dishes as well. We were so disappointed. I used to like going there for Sunday breakfast, I have to say I will not be going back any time soon. This place has gone to hell as far as I am concerned.

In this sad journey that is my life, there are very few things that bring me joy. The Daily Bagel’s nova and scallion-bacon cream cheese bagel is one of them. As I stuff the last piece in my mouth I feel a renewed sense of self, an uplifting of my desolate soul, an awakening… Jokes aside. Glad I came back today. I visited years ago wasn’t impressed then, however I most definitely will return. The idea of going to DD or panera gives me the chills as I’m so sick of their offerings. Not sure if you were the manager or the owner, but thank you man in tattoo tee. My only regret is not buying one of your cookies. C

The bagels are the best in the area. Unfortunately, there is one line for everything. If you happen to get stuck behind some insufferable Yorktown clown who needs to know everything about their breakfast it can get pretty frustrating when all you want is a few bagels to take home. This happened to me a few times so I decided to leave without making a purchase. A separate line just for coffee and unprepared foods would increase their business and keep customers from going elsewhere.

The Daily Bagel is probably my favorite breakfast nook in town. True, there is not much competition, but it is a very good place. Go in and seat yourself. The wait staff will kindly take your order. Sometimes they are a bit slow in service, but they are never rude and always accommodating. My favorite meal is the Vermont Omelet Platter w/homefries, not the hash brown patty– not as good. Get a cup of coffee poured for you, not from the self serve carafes. The waitresses serve the diners the good stuff. The muffins are moist and yummy and served best grilled and buttered. The bagels and cc are delicious. Lunch is not bad, but i prefer their breakfast items. For anyone who has enjoyed a true new england breakfast, especially on the cape, then you will really like this place. Nice little place to go after sunday mass.

Arrive early, as their best varieties almost always sell out, often by 10AM… Their multigrain bagel needs work, it tastes more like a Rte bagel then a multigrain… it seems like the multigrain isn’t made with whole wheat flower… but still good, and the attractive counter staff help too! I like being able to sit down and order egg whites on a bagel and enjoy it with a cup of hot sauce for dipping… yum

If you’re looking for scary slow service, an incompetent waitstaff, and shit bagels, then the Daily Bagel is for you! Nearly died of salmonella due to the excessive taste of egg in the French toast bagel. I threw it out and decided to go with an everything with cream cheese. It was good but not great. I’ll never forget about the time I came here, ordered, and was waiting over 20 minutes for a bagel. Turns out the girl just completely forgot about us. I literally walked up to the counter and saw our food there. This place was much better off as Country Café.

The bagels are OK. The scones are pretty tasteless. They seem more like classic, British scones and would probably be better with some butter and jam.

There are few choices when it comes to fresh bagels in our area — one in Croton(Bagels on Hudson), two(same owner) in Jefferson Valley and Yorktown, and the Daily bagel on Route 202. We conducted a blind tasting(JV Bagel was not included) vs. the venerable NY H&H Bagels, and the results were surprising, t say the least. Bagels on Hudson edged out H&H, followed by H&H, with the Daily Bagel a close third. To be fair, only«everything» and«whole wheat everything» bagels were taste tested, but the scores were a lot closer than we expected. Having said all that, the Daily Bagel offers a wide variety of baked goods(see pics) and is a decent spot for a sit-down, full-serve breakfast as well, as long as you are not in a hurry. The food is good, but on weekends it gets crowded and the part-time wait staff and kitchen are challenged.
