Yum yum… Our first time here & we’ll be back. The babaganoush with hot pita bread was delicious, the lentil soup was just what we wanted on a cold, rainy day hiking up Mary’s Peak. The fresh lemons they brought with it added the perfect touch. The meat they had in the store is locally grown & grass-fed. Our server was quick & attentive. The baklava a sweet, buttery, nutty delectable treat. We live in Eugene but looking forward to eating here again!

Great food and the guy who runs the store that’s attached he might be the owner I’m not sure but he is very friendly.

Personal favorite. I have a give me the usual kind of relationship with this store. Best service I have ever had at any eatery ever. The owner is so kind and such a good human being I could live here. I eat here several times a week.

This now our favorite place to eat in south town Corvallis. Hadn’t eaten here since it first opened and I must say it has only gotten better. To start the service was great. The staff, helpfull and friendly. The price of a meal worth every penny. The food was great, loaded with flavor, well prepared, and the quantities very generous. We will definitely be back. If you are looking for arabic foods and spices they have a nicely stocked store where I am sure you will be able to find what you need.

The wait staff isn’t great, but the food is honestly some of the best I have ever eaten in my life. I think even a person who does not like ethnic food would rave about this food. I had the chicken tandoori lebanese style, veggie masa, mint tea, and Turkish coffee and baklava to go. The wait staff wasn’t rude, just hard to find and inattentive. The food deserves 5 starves for quality, flavor, taste, freshness, and anything else I can think of. Good job chef!

I always order takeout when I don’t feel like cooking, they have my favorite salad and their falafel is fabulous! Really good vegetarian options but the meat is also delicious.

Horrible experience. I just finished my meal here and had to post ASAP because of how horrible this was. Horrible wait staff, they took 15 minutes to even bring water, that should be brought with our menus. And we had to ask for it. When they took our drink order, I ordered tea and my boyfriend ordered Pepsi… She just brought two cups of tea, no Pepsi… The girls waitressing were also kind snooty and snapping and not accommodating at all. We had more people join us and they acted like it was a huge problem to move us to a bigger table for the added people. Even though the restaurant wasn’t busy. Then during our meal two different times I had ants crawl on the table next to my plate. And there was a hair in my food when I got it. I wanted to say something, but after how big of a problem the wait staff made about simply moving us, I can’t imagine how they would have reacted if I told them about the hair and ants. I will NEVER eat here again and I recommend no one else does either. To add on to what I first said, my boyfriend asked me to split the check and so we could pay. The waitress said can you just wait till everyone is done eating? It’s easier this way… What HORRIBLE service.

Very fresh food! Love the veggie mezza plate that serves two. Better than most middle eastern restaurant’s in Portland! Also the market has some great spices for middle eastern and indian cooking.

Ehhhhhhhhh… mixed bag. Their hummus was awful(which is a damn shame, considering that in my opinion the hummis quality is the crux of a good middle eastern place) — way too little tahini, and very gritty. Their Turkish coffee was pretty middle of the road. Their lamb was acceptable. Their tabbouleh, on the other hand, was outstanding. If all the other food was as good as the tabbouleh, this place would be a five star middle eastern restaurant. If they didn’t have the tabbouleh, it’d be a 2 star restaurant. Take it for what you will.

The food here is amazing. The family that owns and runs Al Jabal is amazing. The hours are amazing. It is a little bit pricey, But this is a true authentic Middle Eastern Restaurant, with all the right flavors. So totally worth it.

The family just arrived from Corvallis with take-home from this place. A variety of dishes, none too spicy. Hummus was excellent. We don’t eat much meat but had to try the leg of lamb. Very tender. Our student kid said he heard they use local lamb. Can’t say for sure, but liked it a lot. Nice portions and a variety of items. I could find no fault with any of the food. If you are going to Corvallis, let me know!

I have eaten at this wonderful restaurant many times. They have a lot of diversity in their menu and their staff is incredibly caring. They also have great smoothies along with sweets and candy. By far, the best place in Corvallis in terms of food quality/pricing.

I live in Eugene and have made 2 trips to Corvallis specifically for this restaurant. The food is fantastic! My wife and a friend from Saudi Arabia stopped in for lunch and we all got something different. We all loved our food and the staff was very nice. We can’t wait to go back again.

Al Jebal is owned by an incredible family with a lot of heart. I’m an incredibly picky eater, but I found it easy to find something and enjoy myself. The massive portions are well worth the price.

I CRAVE a good Middle Eastern restaurant for Corvalllis. I’m drawn into this place every few months, thinking I will get something I missed. It’s OK — needs more flavor. Hummus is always super thick and seems to be the powdered reconstituted kind from the Co-Op. Love the tabouli! PLEASEGETSOMEFLAVOR!

Aside from the fact that there is no real sign for the restaurant, and the the building is a bit basic(connected to their grocery), the food is great. The service was excellent, and the quantities were plentiful for the price. Real tasty food.

Nothing to write home about. The first time we went, we ordered from the menu. The food was fine, but not exceptional. Service was acceptable. The place was clean. They told us about a mezze plate that wasn’t on the menu. I ordered that the next time I went. It was tolerable, but a bit overpriced. Can’t beat the hours they are open, though.

Great new(to us at least) option! The menu is fairly extensive, including vegetarian options. The mezza was outstanding and the flat bread was exceptionally tasty. Al Jebal is tucked behind the grocery and doesn’t look like much from the outside, but inside it is spacious, clean, and attractive, with a friendly staff. Check out the grocery, too — pickled turnips!
