After being promised a move in date for over 2 months, it was pushed back 3 weeks and they let me know days before we were supposed to move in(movers scheduled, took time off work, was staying with a friend in the mean time) apparently our unit was going to be completely remodeled, we were shown pictures and videos of what it would look like. I had to complain and talk to several people then they agreed to rent me a temporary unit at Fall Quarters, which was great, except a used toilet sat on my porch area the entire time I was there, only two outlets worked in my entire apartment, and the noise was unreal. After waiting several weeks to get my keys to our original unit, the place was HORRIBLE. Paint all over bedroom doors, carpet, it looked like children had repainted. The bathroom was just terrible, part of the vanity doors were completely missing and it looked like it was from the 1920’s. Nothing like the video we had seen. Burn marks in the counters, blinds missing, I wouldn’t pay 500 to live there, so definitely not 995. I ended up getting refunded for my security deposit and was able to get out of the lease. I do NOT recommend At Home Property Management ever. I could easily write another two paragraphs about my experience and the stress and frustration they caused me, my room mate and our families.

My roommate and I were searching for apartments, and At Home seemed to post some pretty nice listings so we thought we’d like to work with them to find our next apartment. We called and were put on a waiting list for two separate places, and never got a call even though we would see postings online for the places we were on a waiting list for. We eventually called to tell them we were coming in to turn in an application for a place, and we came in five minutes after the phone call, and they said the apartment already was taken, but they apologized and wrote our names down at the«top of the list» so that we would get a call as soon as another apartment from that complex came on the market. It’s now a few weeks later and there are three listings for the apartment we wanted, and yet, no call from At Home, even though we were at the«top of the list». They were not helpful, not especially friendly, and not organized at all. We went through another company and have already found a place, and they were extremely helpful and great about contacting us. If you want to find a place to live, and want good communication, I would recommend not going through At Home Property Management.
