Kurt was recommend to me by a friend a year ago. I finally had the honor of meeting him last weekend. I only have one thing to say. Kurt knows the meaning of «Customer Service». You have his undivided attention the entire time. Keep it up Kurt, you’ve nailed it!

My son’s guitar teacher recommended going to Bullfrog for a Breedlove guitar. Bullfrog is the only place in town that carries Breedlove – a high quality, reasonably priced brand out of Bend, Oregon. The guitar has been awesome — it sounds like much higher quality than the $ 250 we paid for it – and the store’s service has been terrific as well. Owner Kurt has restrung the guitar and showed us how to fix another issue (that I can’t recall the specifics on) for free. The shop is small but, as other reviewers have noted, Kurt is super knowledgeable.

There’s not a ton of inventory here. This isn’t Guitar Center. But make no mistake, the owner, Kurt, knows his trade. If you want lessons I highly recommend Kurt and his style of teaching.
If you’re looking for quality instruments, check it out. There’s lots of acoustics on the wall and some well priced electrics, both new and pre-​owned, to choose from.
If you need some work done to your guitar, the service is top notch.

This is the best guitar shop in Corvallis, if not the lower Willamette Valley. What Kurt (the owner) lacks in inventory, he makes up in attentiveness and responsiveness. It’s a shame that so many guitar shops sell works of art as used cars. That’s typically been my experience with even the most high end guitars. Not so with Kurt. He only wants you to buy what is best for you. He’s enthusiastic, yes. But it’s out of genuine love of playing and product he sells.
One last story. I told Kurt about Reverend guitars, an up and coming electric guitar company with a unique design. Within a few months, he became a dealer and had several in stock. Turns out he did some research just based on my recommendation and was so impressed, he signed on. That’s personal service. I won’t buy anywhere else.
