Northern Star

I love this place! I’ve been here 3 times now and every time I go in, I always find something new to take home! The people who work here are super nice and really helpful as well as patient. I got some feather extensions and the nice lady Emily was willing to put them in my hair for me too!!! :D They have a great selection of beads and incense. If you’re into faeries and dragons, this place has a lot of those as well. There’s a lot of interesting things at Northern Star. This place is great. Must visit. Things are priced fairly as well.

Now, perhaps I’m a bit biased because my girlfriend works for Northern Star, but it’s really hard to beat the store that offers everything under the sun. Honestly, I don’t like the fact that my girlfriend works there because now I can’t get her anything for her birthday from NS.
While I’m learning more and more how to use my artistic side I find the knowledge of the staff at Northern Star beyond useful. Cindy, the store manager, is great at explaining how to do even the simplest tasks to a novice like me while coaching up those that happened to be more advanced. You couple that with the price being right for all the different knick-​knacks as well as the ridiculously fair prices on the beads then you are looking at a great store. But, they take it one step further at Northern Star. They fix your broken chains and string your beads for you for free or for a VERY inexpensive price. I’d take them up on it too because all the ladies there are very very very talented.

This place is fab for beads and jewelery making stuff! They also have a ton of other great stuff! I’m a huge fan of their body jewelry selection and prices, both are phenomenal. They carry alot of Hippie type stuff, but there’s a little bit of everything when it comes to décor and neat little items. There is also a decent little area with clothing and other items in the back of the store. If you’re really into a place that’s «different» this is a good one to go to. I visit there at least once every time I go home to Oregon to visit! What can I say? Yay! I’m a fan!

I mostly come here for the great selection of beads and jewelry findings. They have a nice variety of supplies and they’re reasonably priced. I’ve tried to have them order things for me before (when they didn’t have a particular bead in the size I was looking for) and they’ve never called me back.

This has been my favorite store in Corvallis for a decade plus, now! It’s filled with all sorts of fun things and smells of good incense. They have jewelery, shirts, skirts, beads, statues, just so so much to see. If you’re looking for a fun store to browse through, this should be a stop on your list!

Ok, I’m not really into hippie stuff, but this store is actually pretty cool. Mostly beads, incense, pagan, and whatnot, but I always find something interesting, and they’re nice peeps.
