If they got rid of the secretary, Nancy, this dentist office would be great! She is the rudest, most phoney, smug person I have ever met. I have been going there for about 2 years and after the most RECENT encounter with her, I will not be going back! The last time I went I was telling my hygienist about my recent enrollment in law school(U of L Brandies School of Law) explaining to my hygienist that I couldn’t pronounce the«Brandies» part because my professors say it differently. Nancy, while eves dropping, responds very matter of fact, «So its not that you can’t say it. Its that you DONOTKNOWHOW to say it.» Ummm excuse me? You are a secretary at a dentist’s office… Tell me about your education? Now most recently she has called me at 3:30p when the office closes at 4 telling me that she must get a verbal confirmation of my appointment by 12:00p the next day… Too bad I have a job and don’t have lunch until 12p. Needless to say I wont be going to that appointment or any other appointment!

If you need an oral surgeon you can certainly put your faith and trust in the skills of Dr. Homrihausen who is in my opinion is an excellent doctor. After severely breaking a front tooth(edge of my tooth all the way up into the gum) I have been nervous about treatment options, appearance, and the embarrassment of simply smiling. Dr. Homrighausen took the time to listen to what happened to my tooth and without hesitation started to discuss treatment, expectation, and really cared about my health. I went from being scared to actually feeling confident because it was clear he knew what he was talking about. It was then I realized that part of what makes a good doctor is how they listen and confidently make rational decisions that affects the patients life. While my broken tooth was monumental to me it was routine for Dr. Homrighausen who put me at ease. I highly recommend him to anyone who needs a great oral surgeon!
