Had a fantastic experience here the other night. Atmosphere was chill, ambiance was amazing and the burger was off the charts delicious! I’d recommend the Cos Cobbler anytime! Next time in, I think I’m going to go with Rigatoni Calabria. The table next to us had it, looked delicious, and was told it’s a definite go to. If you’re able to save room for dessert, get the Apple Cobbler topped with ice cream… You’re welcome!

This place has good food. I typically get two eggs over easy with toast or the eggs Benedict. If you want an average to good breakfast, go here. It’s cheap, clean, and the staff is welcoming. Never been a disappointment, always been 6−7÷10

Good burgers, fairly priced entrees, fairly priced drinks. Excellent service. Small place, gets full fast so plan ahead.

Unfriendly servers and bus woman. My English muffin was burnt, the bacon was well overcooked and dry and the coffee was weak. It used to be so good when it opened but it’s now just well over done.

Not your typical diner menu serving meals such as tuna tartare! But then of course this in Greenwich! Decent beer and wine selection as well. You will pay restaurant type prices for a diner-like atmosphere but the quality of food is worth it!

We come here every week(about) with multigenerations. It is a wonderful restaurant. Family-owned and the staff makes you feel welcome. We find the food very good. We like the burgers and pancakes a lot. If you are an obsessive organic foodie then this may not be the place for you. If you want a comfortable meal with family and friends it is a solid choice.

This is the worst breakfast I have ever had. Don’t waste your time or money here. I ordered the corn beef hash and two eggs over easy. The eggs were barely cooked still had the whites runny and not cooked. The corn beef hash had no flavor and was so over cooked and dried out. My mother who cant cook actually used to make corn beef hash on the boat on a sterno grill. It was a hundred times better by her. The food here is so simply and plain. They did not have any kind of home baked pastries or muffins either. Hope this place closes and something new goes in soon. Service was cold and unfriendly. Dont think our waiter ever said a word but maybe he could not speak English. I was so hunger but I could not eat my breakfast not even the toast was good. It was cold and soggy with whatever crisco they put on it.

Went to the cos cobbler yesterday for a late lunch with coworkers. It was my first time at the diner. The parking is a bit tight in the lot. Staff was courteous and friendly. We were a party of four. Each of us ordered different lunches. We all thought the food was good. Portions are large. Prices are reasonable, will definitely return.

I was eager to try the Cos Cobber after driving by it everyday on my way to work. However, after grabbing dinner there with my buddy recently, I was greatly disappointed. First, the menu was very confused. I was not sure whether the restaurant was Italian or a diner. Moreover, the waitress was sick and was coughing while taking our order. I ordered the clam chowder to start and was confused by the pink tone of it and the peppers the chowder contained. For my main course, I had the«Cos Cobbler» salad which consisted of avocado, bacon, and gorgonzola. I thought the salad would be a safe choice. It was not. The bacon’s aftertaste was reminiscent of moth balls and I was not able to keep eating the salad. In addition, I found the Cos Cobber to be expensive for what it was. Maybe it would be better during breakfast time but I certainly do not recommend this restaurant for lunch or dinner. Better off at Glory Days.

Super nice staff and owner. Nice crowd on a weeknight. A couple of screens for the game too. Yummy Brussels with bacon. Really a side. But I had as a very generous appetizer. Chicken Frances’s tasty. Big portion. Served with fresh vegetables.

This is my go to 3 times a week restaurant. The Cos Cobber is like Cheers. Great local place, nicest owners and staff and just like home as you always see regulars you know. The chicken wings are the best, as are sliders, ribs, salads and specials. Caren and the Vizzo family are very accommodating and you feel like you are home. Service is excellent, say hi to Juan, Andrea, Erica and Kelven. Always casual. Warm environment. Fair prices and plenty of parking. Go by yourself or with a group. They always please! Great music on special nights too.

Crowded as you might expect for a Saturday night. I found a seat at the bar. Service was quick and efficient the bartender know the menu cold. Tomato soup with artichoke and Shrimp was very tasty and well spiced. The people next to me had the calamari appetizer and it looked good and I am jealous. All the tv’s are on sports so don’t be surprised. I had the linguine Vongole with clams and mussels in a red sauce. A little too much water with the red sauce but still very tasty. I sat next to the pass and the 3 person kitchen was humming and seemed to be a well oiled machine. No wasted time. I will be back.

Great food, but what’s with the service? Nobody looks happy. It’s indifferent and maybe a little disdainful and condescending. Lots of kids, so be prepared for that. Sitting in the bar minimizes that. Back to service: where is the love?!

First — food was excellent. Fully what you expect of a diner — and that to the perfection. The service was very friendly. Our daughter(3 years) was treated excellent. The area is comfortable and casual. Portions are very, very generous. We will be back!

The Chicken Inverno was excellent. Creamy sauce with artichokes and mushrooms. The vibe was casual enough to be comfortable and formal enough to be special. The portions were generous. Wait staff was friendly and attentive. Looking forward to our next visit!

The Cos Cobber is a great local go to. Breakfast lunch dinner and drinks at night! What more can you ask for? The turkey club always has a perfect ratio of meat to bread. The only downside is it’s only on the lunch menu. The décor is very nice and a major upgrade from the former restaurant in that spot. Service used to not be so great but I’ve noticed a major difference over the past year and it only is getting better!

Cos Cobber has a serious identity crisis. What a nice job fixing the place up and then leaving a staff that is more suited for the Greenwich Diner — except the Greenwich Diner(Glory Days) would never allow the front hostess to eat an entrée at her station is full view of walk ins. Other staff members stand around texting. Owner has no grasp on the management portion of this operation. Head Chef shouts in kitchen and if there’s gonna be an open kitchen, the hoods have to be spotless. Allowing customers to see dirty hoods only begs the question«what do the parts of the kitchen we can’t see look like?». If they got their hands on someone to manage the place, maybe someone that defected from the guys that own Elm Street Oyster, they would do well. Oh, and get rid of that diner style iced tea dispenser in the bar, clean the salt/pepper shakers and offering hot sauce named«f*cking hot sauce» might work in a raunchy bar but? And stop putting bacon in the fryer to cook. That’s gross! Use your fry top! Your breakfast business is dead for a reason.

This place is like an adrenaline shot in the quiet Greenwich neighborhood, always crowded, hard to find parking, but the wait is worth it. I had driven past Cos Cobber many times but had never attempted to go in as it looks always full, which is a good sign. Dropped in the other day, though the place was packed, I did find a solo bar seating. The server Jeff, was knowledgeable about the menu, made a few recommendation, and I decided to go with the New England cuisine of Clam Chowder and Fish and Chips. The service was pleasantly fast, both the soup and the main dish were great, specially the Fries that came with the fish. The hostess came to check in on me if i had enough room and suggested some other seats as a few people had left, which I though was very thoughtful. Parking is probably the only downside to this restaurant, but once you are in, the service and food makes up for it.

If you’re looking for plain, sufficient food this is a fine option. Honestly not much of an improvement from the former occupant in terms of variety, and it’s a huge jump up in cost. I had some nachos and a salad, both of which were disappointing collections of ingredients. Yes, the nachos were tortilla chips with cheese, and the salad had lettuce and tomato but they were both dishes I could have made myself. Basically mid-level country club food being served in a restaurant. Save the expense and make it yourself.
