The new owners have made the boba extremely hard and chewy, basically super undercooked. Though their milk tea is still as great as always and their passion fruit green tea.

Used to go here a lot but now there is a change in ownership. The popcorn chicken portion was a joke and it was not as tasty.

The worst and most rude customer service I have ever encountered. And they didn’t even get my order right. Tea is not that hard

I don’t know how you can mess up a green tea boba smoothie so badly, but ew. The worst boba smoothie I’ve ever had. The boba were soggy, not the yummy chewy balls like they’re supposed to be. It left a sort of film kind of in the roof of my mouth like when you eat too much captain crunch. Not to mention someone else ordered calamari and the smell was so rancid. I wouldn’t be surprised if she got food poisoning. I am not lying this calamari smelled like poop. Literally poop. I had to stand outside to wait for my drink that’s how bad it was. Please save your money and go elsewhere. Worst boba I’ve ever had. Will not be returning.

I feel like this place could be good, but the people working there don’t seem to care and almost try to give bad service. Issue 1: Banana rolls came out and were still frozen on the inside — 4 rolls came out, we cut in to one only to find out it was frozen on the inside — No apology when we told the staff — Were told they would bring out a fresh batch, then they came back and said they would just put them back in the fryer — A few minutes later, 3 roll came back, I watched as the girl said«here are the banana rolls» and then place down the bowl on the counter very loudly — they were still cold in the middle(what happened to #4??) Issue 2: Crispy pepper chicken was inedible — We asked if it was spicy, they said the red pepper was pretty spicy — We asked if we could get non spicy, they said yes — The chicken came out almost black from all the black pepper they used instead — I like spicy food, but this was just gross spicy — My wife and toddler couldn’t eat them at all — After the attitude with the banana rolls sending them back wasn’t an option. I would be afraid they’d doctor them up some other way Issue 3: Fruit smoothie tasted very fake — We asked if it was made with real fruit — Answer was yes — It tasted and looked syrup based Issue 4: There was a sign plug hanging off an extension cord right behind where we were sitting. Dangerous. We won’t be back.

I don’t wanna give even 1star. I’ve just ordered avocado smoothie, it’s look nasty, dry and has AVOCADOSKIN!!!, make me don’t wanna try it. But I still give them a chance to try cuz I I paid for it. The taste just like ice with avocado skin! NOMILKNOAVOCADONOTSMOOTHATALL. My friend’s 5 years old kid make better smoothie than this. If you cannot make a good smoothie, you should find other job!!! Forget to take picture cuz I give her to try it. Don’t waste your money here– Water is even taste better!!!

The manager of this place is rude and the service is slow and terrible. No engagement at all they just want your money, and get your order wrong. I had my stamp card and had a free drink and she refused to do it saying they are trying to get rid of stamp cards. Not worth it.

I came through here because I don’t know why. I guess I was in the area and was parched. I came in and ordered their French Vanilla milk tea. The service was decent. It took a bit longer than I had anticipated for them to make the drink but they do have a nice area for you to chill. There’s a couple of games and a decent seating area to hang out. This seems more of a place for students to go study or for younger kids to just hang with their friends, but for me not too much. When my drink finally arrived I took a sip and wasn’t too blown away by it. The French Vanilla was a bit too overbearing and didn’t blend well with the milk tea but it was good enough to fill my thirst. At least it wasn’t watered down. I had anticipated it to be watered down but to my surprise it wasn’t, if anything it was too milky. This is definitely a pass for me. I wouldn’t be returning here as it wasn’t one of my top favorite boba joints. At least I was able to finish it so it wasn’t that bad. PS they also sell food/snacks here

Our favorite place for boba — especially their taro smoothies since(according to them and we haven’t found anything that would indicate otherwise) they use REAL taro instead of taro powder like at other places. Texture is perfect — not watery. And not too sweet. Highly recommended!

This review is for the Big chunks of popcorn chicken! This place is not the best for popcorn chicken but so far this is the only place that give big chunks of chicken, it doesn’t look like it came from the bottom of a frozen pre-preped bag of chicken! You get to choose how spicy u want it, but all it is, is the amount of this salty seasoned pepper seasoning they add to it, the chicken would taste good without it tho, it’s nothing to special. They definitely are not greedy with that chicken tho!

Had the Thai tea and it was awful. Too watered down, not cold enough, and the boba was melted/too soft for some reason. The worker dropped the milk lid in my cup and stuck her hand in it to get it out. Seriously??? Never again. Ever.

What a terrible place I feel so bad for this young girl who works here I was a customer ordering a drink when another staff yelled and cursed at this girl who hasn’t worked here very long because she made a mistake. I will never do business here again that was so inappropriate. Im disgusted with employees who treat other employees like this!!!

I love this place, mostly for the raspberry milk tea. No where around where I live do they have as many options for flavors of milk tea. So whenever I’m in the area I MUST have the raspberry milk tea. First time I went, the service was fast and friendly. Second time I went, I’m pretty sure one of the girls was fairly new and the other seemed a bit harsh on the newbie. Milk tea was a bit too thick, but I put some water to water it down which is awesome because my drink lasted longer :) Still really delicious.

They have some flavors that I don’t typically see in other places. I was debating between the Cinnamon milk tea and the Earl grey tea and went with the Cinnamon one after asking for the cashier’s recommendation. It was sooooooo sweet!!! Boba was good and chewy but the tea was just too sweet even after I let the ice melt a bit. I also ordered a strawberry cream puff which they just took out from the fridge and it was ok, a bit dry. I’d try other flavors and make sure to order it less sweet next time!

Eek. I was curious to try this boba house because I generally have lunch in the same center @ Nimmarn. My brother’s girlfriend mentioned boba, so said let’s try Boba Smoothie. The establishment is located off the cross streets of Harbor & Baker next to a Game Stop, Electric Beach and Baskin Robbins. Parking wasn’t an issue even though this center gets packed due to all the decent shops around. The moment I walked into the boba house I was greeted by a young lady & asking me if I was ready. Haha, no I just walked in. While looking at the menu, just asked me if I was ready again. I was thinking(hold up, been here less than 2 minutes). Hmm. Anyways, I ordered an Oreo Cappuccino Smoothie with Boba. It was gross! tasted like ice with Hershey’s syrup. So disappointing, should of just stuck to Tapioca Express on MacArthur. The décor of this boba house is also bad! Very limited seating & just doesn’t look like I’d have a good time spending more than another minute here. I can say, I tried it but wish I didn’t.

El Hubby Cakes and I went to a wedding around the area over the weekend and there was a 3 hour wait before the reception. I Unilocaled a boba place so we can kill time and this was the closest one we found. It’s small and casual that has a small lounge area that seats 5 people and 2 – 3 tables. Their smoothies are yummy! They have tons of flavors to choose from and you can even mix flavors. I had the Taro smoothie and El hubby had Almond with… I forgot. The price was cheaper that other boba places I’ve been to, which was awesome! We also got some food. We tried, the crispy peppered chicken in mild. It was pretty dang tasty. It sorta taste like chicharrones because if the crispiness and saltiness. Sooo good! Too bad we live so far from this place. We would definitely go back.
