Devon Baker Makeup and Brows

I have been seeing Devon forever; I even followed her from her last place. I’ve always had brows that even the best professionals have described as difficult, my favorite was «the most difficult I’ve ever seen» from a fancy Beverly Hills eyebrow artist. They’re dark and grow all crazy directions, are thick and yet still somehow patchy, and of course grow rampantly high, low, and horizontally. I have no idea how she does it, but every time I walk out of her studio, I feel human again — even better than human, actually. My brows rock. It looks like they just occur this way naturally, which is really important to me since I prefer to look naturally awesome instead of DONE. In the 5+ years I’ve been seeing her, she’s never had an «off» day where my brows paid the price.
Almost as important, I always feel happy just having seen her. Devon is a genuinely fun and nice person, and the time spent in her chair feel like catching up with an old friend every time. I look forward to appointments, which is weird since I’m paying someone to pull hair from my face (not generally a fun activity). She’s super easy to book too, which is definitely appreciated. Texting to schedule is great because I can do it when I think about it and when I might not be available to have a whole chat on the phone.
I would be remiss if I didn’t mention her makeup skillz. I had such a rapport and comfortability with Devon, of course I asked her to do my wedding makeup. She had done makeup on me before casually and I had really liked it, so it was a slam dunk. And of course I looked great, if I do say so myself. I’m so happy with how I look when I look through our photo album. I look both natural and glamorous, which is a fine balance to reach. But Devon did it! Because she is all-​around awesome.

Devon is amazing at her craft! I am a long time client, first coming to Devon for brow shaping brows 7 years ago. She has helped me grow in my brows maintaining their natural shape. Devon also was my makeup artist at my wedding in Palm Springs (I was so thankful that she was willing to travel!) I was extremely happy with the makeup and she did exactly what I envisioned. I was looking for a dewy/​glow/​natural look which she perfected. Most recently, I have been seeing Devon for lash extensions. She uses mink lashes and they are light as a feather! I am definitely going to keep them up because I have gotten so many compliments from my husband and colleagues! Thank you Devon, keep doing what you do best! I love my brows and lashes!

I have had the pleasure of knowing Devon Baker for several years and she is a master at her craft. Once a month, she sculpts and colors my brows to perfection. Devon has done my makeup for several special events such as weddings and other celebratory occasions and my makeup always comes out looking lovely, natural and flawless. Not only is she very talented, Devon is incredibly sweet and always makes your visit a relaxing and enjoyable experience. The location of the salon is in a darling tiny house next to a hair salon.
