I go here for all my fly fishing needs. If you need a custom fly made, they are the place. Great flies that hold up much better than any off the shelf fly. So glad to have them here in Orange County.

These guys are great! Very friendly and helpful. I am just getting into fly fishing and thought I would use a gift certificate my wife gave me. They were very honest and did not try to up sell me on anything. I would recommend His and Hers to everyone!

I came on Saturday with my dad because he expressed that he wanted to take fly fishing lessons. I did a quick google search of fly fishing stores in Orange County and saw His and Hers Fly Fishing Store. When we arrived we inquired about lessons which are offered every Saturday morning for $ 75. The couple was extremely friendly and they even have a little set up next door where you can practice into a long water run off. They were very helpful and took their time with my dad who is not very coordinated. I will be back very soon. Great shop!

This is the only fly shop I’ve been to in OC. Though I have been in a few other places. I’d say this is by far the best I have been in. I can bring any fly I want to Grace and she will tie it exactly the same or with whatever colors I ask. ALso they never try to sell you the most expensive gear. They’ve always tried to sell me just what I need.

When one conjures up images of Orange County, CA, images of beach goers, tan bodies, botoxed faces, fancy cars, fly fishing, and cleavage(both male and female) often come to mind. Okay, maybe not fly fishing, but you get the idea. The juxtaposition of Orange County and fly fishing is humorous at first glance. How can the vapid and vain hold the slightest interest in one of the most down-to-earth activities known to man? It doesn’t seem possible, unless there’s a new, jewel-encrusted fly fishing vest by Prada out there to go along with my new alligator/calfskin Jimmy Choo wading boots. I digress. The answer lies in the expensive nature of fly fishing, you see. Although it may be one of the simplest forms of fishing around, it can be downright expensive, yo! Plus, this recent trend with feather hair extensions pulls the ladies into fly shops, too. So, this is where His & Her comes into play. Whether you’re a newbie or a salty dog, this place will cater to your needs and/or budget. Classes on casting and fly tying are available as are guide services. Tackle and handmade flies of all sorts are available. Accessories galore can be obtained here, too(from waders to float tubes). You can even take a rod and reel for a «test drive» on their casting pool just outside the shop! Frank Selby, the owner, is a FFF certified casting instructor and can even take you out on guided fishing trips. How cool is that? If you’re the slightest bit interested in fly fishing, this is a great place to start. Besides, you don’t find too many fly shops here in OC anyway. But then again, that’s probably because you’ve been distracted by all the good-looking people around these parts…
