This is only for the new breakfast menu. The spud burrito was edible but weird. The potatoes felt like soup in the burrito because it was cooked in liquid. I expected fried potatoes in my burrito. Tasted good but just texture was too soupy…

Service was good and fast. Rated 3 stars for price of food(Carne Asada taco) and flavor of food. Proportion of onions overpowered the meat. Probably won’t come back for the tacos as I had better from other places.

The California Chile(chile relleno burrito) is awesome; I legitimately have cravings for it. For drive thru food, there is not better quality than Miguel’s.

I found Miguel’s Jr. an okay place. Came by to get a breakfast burrito however it was too late to order it and I instead ordered a chicken burrito. The service is fast and food was good. I did not realize the chicken burrito came with beans. Wasn’t too impressed with the flavor. I should’ve added some cilantro and onions to make it more savory. Thought it was a bit odd, they had a separate tray with cups of water. I guess they didn’t want people to get cups to get soft drinks. Seems like a no frills kind of restaurant.

Current and potential customers BEADVISED Miguel’s jr. Uses dairy milk in their guacamole hence the bland pasty look and taste a Miguel’s jr employee informed me of this last time I was their. They are not informing their customers and there is no warning signs posted on their drive through or restaurant menu boards. The traditional guacamole recipe does not call for milk to be added they add it to make it creamy this creates a potential health problem for people who are lactose intolerant this action is very irresponsible and lazy of them to do!

Seeing these pop up over Orange County I really didnt think to much of it. I figured just another chain of Mexican food in a area that is flooded with fantastic taquerias and restaurants. Would Miguel’s stand out? Well unfortunately no, it really doesn’t. I am going to just chalk this up as another spot where you need the salsa to add flavor to your food. I came here for lunch and got the pork Garbage Burrito. Now I like a burrito with the works in it. Lettuce, cheese, tomato, sour cream they can all party rock in my burrito. But when I started eating it, I was left thinking… where was the flavor? It was just kind of bland and I had to douse it in salsa to add any type of kick to it. It was disappointing needless to say because carnitas is supposed to pack a whole mess of flavor to your face. Maybe I will give it another try, but there are just too many good spots that I know of here in Orange County. I will say that the place is very nice as most of the restaurants here in the OC are fairly new. Its very well kept up and has a nice inside and outside seating section. CHEERS!!!

I worked in the area and as much as I hate to admit it, I probably had Miguels 4 times a week. I love the shredded beef quesadilla. I know it sounds weird but it’s amazing. And the carnits plate is my other go to. And shredded beef tacos!!! Add half a pint of rice on the side and you’ve got a great lunch for a good price.

We’ve been to Miguel’s a few times and the first few visits were good especially their rice and beans. Just recently, we went in and ordered carnitas(they were out) so I got the steak burrito instead. Unfortunately, the steak was full of gristle and fat and seriously under cooked. I ended up feeding it to my dog! As a stockholder in YUM(the owner of Taco Bell and Miguel’s Jr.), I hope they get their act together. Very disappointing!

I had the Miguel’s Jr. Original burrito, the burrito lacked flavor. It had more beans than carne asada meat, very little to be exact.(asked for no rice) The beans taste like they are canned and not made at the restaurant, I could make this burrito at home. I basically ate a bean and cheese burrito. I’m not missing out if I decide to skip from eating here next time.

Not impressed. No flavor. I asked for a special request and the Maneger said no. Requested green sauce on my enchiladas and he said the green sauce is not for that. I assumed that maybe it was pre made and could not make changes. But no. They just poured red sauce over it. Disappointing. Won’t be back

Gut Bomb… Ordered one of their«Famous» burritos(the«original» shredded beef to be exact). Not quite sure where they are famous, but if so whoever made them famous has obviously not been out much. There was hardly any meat what so ever… basically a giant rice & bean burrito with very little meat thrown… and I mean VERY little. Definitely not worth $ 7.79. Save yourself about $ 5 and grab a bean & cheese burrito from Taco Bell… Same difference without the stomach ache.

Not Great but Not bad? So I’ve only visited this location once. This location looks very appealing on the outside, but something about fast causal Mexican food that feels wrong. Drive thru was quick and fast. Customer service really good and friendly. The food portions were small. I bought a meal — 2 hard tacos and beans and rice. The rice was a bit greasy but the veggies and color of the tacos were good. Again, if I was hungry I may try this place again, but for my money it wasn’t a first stop.

Been wanting to try this place for a while. Finally stopped in last weekend and the food was delicious. We got a 2 taco combo plate and 2 carne asada tacos by themselves. Both were very tasty and the salsa was full of flavor and a nice amount of heat. The staff was nice and friendly offering some tips for a first time customers. The only reason I’m giving them 4 starts and not 5 is because the prices are a bit high. For a total of 4 tacos, some beans & rice and a drink it was $ 20. Most places that serve this type of good Mexican food are usually much less expensive. The same thing at several other of my favorite Mexican places would be $ 14-$ 15 and come with chips. Don’t get me wrong, the food is delicious and I highly recommend them. The price issue is just part of the overall picture and for me I would like to see them a little more in line with others.

If only this location was here when I was in high school and lived in this area and I would’ve been eating here every day! Miguel’s jr beats Taco Bell and del taco by far in terms of food quality and just overall cleanliness and appearance of the restaurants. I went through the drive-through today and ordered a bean and cheese burrito. The portions are much larger than your typical Mexican drive through chains. The burrito was really big and the beans were fresh. However I would not recommend ordering a burrito through the drive-through and trying to eat it in your car. The tortilla was put together kind of loosely and when I took a bite it started to fall apart. It was frustrating because I did not have a fork and I was trying to eat in my car. other then the burrito falling apart everything was good!

3.5 stars, for drive-thru experiences. My boyfriend loves this place. I’m slowly becoming a fan of this place. I’ve been here twice and the food is good. It’s not authentic Mexican food but it is good, especially since it is fast food. They can accommodate orders, my boyfriend orders the Miguel burrito with double chicken and double cheese, no beans and no rice. I get the chicken nachos, i like that it’s shredded chicken instead of diced/cubes of chicken. The salsa is great. The drive-thru is fairly fast. The portions are big.

Definitely my fast food to go restaurant when I’m craving Mexican food. The bean cheese rice burritos are absolutely delicious, especially paired with their homemade hot sauce. For $ 2.99 you get a full mouth watering size burrito that will fill you up… And taste amazing! What more could you want? Defiantly recommend trying this place once, and guarantee you’ll fall in love. Recommend the bean cheese rice burrito with their red hot sauce.

I’m from Corona where Miguel’s Jr. & the Restaurant originate from. My family has been enjoying the food all my life. We’ve had them cater: Graduations, Weddings, Birthdays, Work Parties and more! I travel out of state every few months and my siblings won’t let me visit without burritos for payment. Miguel’s wraps them up in foil so I can freeze them over night. I even freeze the salsa! You guessed it… I’ve flown with burritos in my bag. Thanks for always tasting great regardless of the location! YUM!

We came, we tried and we’re not going back. It’s not terrible, but the meat, beans, rice ratio is completely off even if you ask the chef to go easy. If you’re hungry and don’t mind your burrito to be filled with more cheese, rice, beans basically a whole lot more carbohydrate and just a sprinkle of meat, then you’re good here. Gave it two tries and I’m not going back. They messed up on our order and because I was too hungry, 2 didn’t want to waste food, so I just ate it. I like their salsa bar, because they offer both red and green salsa to go with the meal. It’s always a plus to add your own salsa. Oddly enough, they have a massive restaurant, with clean outdoor seating and a nice huge fire pit for those cold winters. I never saw it on, but thought it was a neat touch.
