He has perfected his craft. Get on the books and bring cash.

The conversation with Mark, the great cut and the environment it’s all done in makes me never want to go to another barber

Mark is the man, what else can I say? The guy gives great haircuts, you’re in and out of the chair in less then 15 minutes and you can’t beat the price… Just remember, he’s a cash only operation, so make sure to hit the ATM on the way over.

Mark is the greatest find in 2015. I have never experienced such a down to earth guy that cuts hair so precisely. I highly recommend him as a barber.

Miller’s a great guy. Great experience, personality, and is flexible. Works to give you both what you want and what he think looks good.

I just had my hair cut with Mark for first time and it was like I’d been seeing him for years. Im new to the area and was looking for a good barber shop experience, let me tell you I wasn’t disappointed. This guy is awesome. He asked me a few quick questions, did a great job assessing how my hair falls then gave me a perfect cut in 20 minutes! Best part is he was super friendly and chatted me up the whole time. The cut was only $ 18 and I would have gladly paid more. I’ll be back next month for sure. Note: if you’re looking for a stylist this place is not for you. It’s a guys barber shop.

Mark is a stud! He will always make time for you when possible, he is very talented and a very nice guy. I would recommend him to everyone, except I don’t want him to get too busy so that when I need him he is there(Just Kidding Mark). Go see him, he is the best! AE

If you’re looking for a person that knows how to do fades with a clipper, you’re in the wrong place. Bad haircut, better with traditional scissors.

Called to inquire about their services. The guy cut me off and said he was too booked up to help me. I wasn’t even trying to come in today… just wanted to know if they did facial hair, so I could make an appt for next week. He was so rude. Didn’t even listen to my question. Glad I’m never going.

Mark may come off as a little rough around the edges when you phone in your initial appointment, but as soon as you meet him in person, you’re sure to find that he’s very down to earth, talkative, and quite funny and self deprecating! Miller Barber Shop has just one chair(Mark is the only barber here), a mirror on either side, and tons of punk rock posters and memorabilia covering the walls. His services are offered by appointment only, and Mark closes up shop«around 5pm». There are no fancy frills or foo-foo-ness to a Mark Miller haircut, however this gentleman is an obvious true master of his craft. Upon meeting me for the first time, with only quick, casual visual inspection, he knew how long it had been since my last cut, detected where my thick mane tends to stick up, which direction(s) it grows, and that my last barber had used thinning shears. He was also able to quickly gauge exactly how I’d like my hair cut. Lastly, because of his extreme accuracy, Mark had me looking good and clean cut in just 15 short minutes. He charges $ 18(cash only) plus tip. Thanks to my always sharp-looking friend Joe L. for this awesome referral!

This place rocks, Great haircut from a down to earth guy. Quick service, Perfect price. Came here to get a cut fixed after Hawleywoods did a piss poor job. And came out beyond happy, I will definitely be back!

Mark does a killer job, but don’t expect a stylist. If you’re looking for a simple, cheap, and clean cut then this is your spot.

Mark just moved two doors down, where the lashes salon used to be. The new digs are a little more spacious, but don’t worry, it’s essentially the same place. No price increase(Mark has been charging $ 18 for a while now). Still the best barber in OC. Tip: you really should make an appointment before you go, but if you’ve been a regular for at least a couple of years(like me), he’ll sometimes take you as a walk-in if he’s available. About half the time I call, I can get a same-day appointment.

Been going to Marks shop for about five years now. He is a great guy and barber. If you want to know anything about the local area, Mark is the one to ask. One thing: if you want him to give you a cut, do both Mark and yourself a favor, and call for an appointment. The sooner the better.

Not only is this a great Barber, its also a great local business. When you walk in to Mark’s shop, you get an entirely different feeling than when you walk into a salon or a place like supercuts. The décor is full of classic nostalgia — newspaper clippings, sports memorabilia and men’s magazines. The best part of the shop is that its one man’s business and passion — he doesnt try to upsell you ‘product’ or try to get you to buy a rewards card. What you get with Millers is a great haircut at a reasonable price with amusing conversation in a very comfortable environment. The only downside is that his hours are limited to weekdays and saturdays — so saturdays get crowded. Make sure to make a reservation

There’s two places I go to get my hair cut — Miller’s out in Newport Beach and Public Barber Salon out in San Francisco. I’ve gravitated towards these two places because they have a similar edgy feel abou them, and give great quick haircuts. I’ve been to Miller’s twice and both times he’s been efficient and punctual. The shop is covered with old posters and photos of old rock and punk bands — there is one Marilyn Monroe picture somewhere. Miller is an interesting guy which prompts good conversation. For the haircut, Miller asked a couple of questions about how often I get a haircut and what style I wanted, and went from there. I wasn’t disappointed.
