This is my new go to wax salon!
Vicky is really such a genuine and hardworking person. So happy to have met her. She fixed my eyebrows and brought out such a naturally beautiful shape to them. She really focuses on all little details to make sure they’re perfect. I like that effort. And only $ 10!
Also got my bikini line and legs waxed. She was super gentle and quick. Could barely feel a thing. Little to no pain for legs or bikini area. She made me feel very relaxed and comfortable. The wax she uses is of very good quality that it makes the whole process almost painless. I found this place on groupon, because she offers one for a $ 13 bikini wax! Awesome deal too good to pass up. The whole wax setup was very clean and organized. It’s almost too good to be true for the price.
If you plan to come to this place you MUST make an appointment. No walk ins. But it’s very easy to make one. I am extremely happy with my time with Vicky. Well worth the money and will only be coming to her from now on for all my beauty needs. She even does nails! So smart and talented. Next time I will be sure to try one of her facials! No cons about this place at all.

I desperately needed a good skin cleaning and microdermabrasion and found Vicky online. She was amazing and genuinely cared for my skin. She educated me on my skin type and detailed how I should take care of it going forward.
The salon was clean and presentable. I felt relaxed and pampered. I will go back to her.

I got my nails done by Vicky twice
I purchased a Groupon for two gel nails. The first time I came here I was greeted by Vicky and was told to wait until she got the nail station ready. She normally does skincare but does nail on the side. She told me that Groupon made the mistake of putting her deal up as doing nails although she did not want to do it. So she made it very clear to me on the first visit that she did not really want to do my nails but was forced to do so. She said she was not making any money from it and her customers never come back. The complaining turned me off and I felt like it was unprofessional. She complained both times I was there although the second time she was a little better. She was probably looking for sympathy but it was a little overdone.
I gotta admit that the first time I came there, it was gross that the seat she was going to have me sit down had disgusting wax from the girl she waxed previously. I pointed it out and Vicky obviously cleaned the chair with alcohol for me but it made me cringe.
Also, first time I came she started to do my nails she was very opinionated on how my nails should look. I wanted my nails filed to an almond shape and she kept saying she could not do it. She told me it was not possible. I told her I would pay more and that I’ve had it done before. She finally gave in and charged me an extra $ 5 which was fine. As for the actual filing, she did hurt me and the side of my thumb showed a little bit of bleeding. It wasn’t that bad but it hurt and was apparent. I also felt like she overdid pushing and cutting back my cuticles. She told me she was the best at it and that I would not get hang nail later. Well guess what? I got hang nail… When it came time to pick my gel color she kept saying the color I choose would not look good. So I went with something that we both agreed on. I asked her to add glitter and she told me it would be an additional $ 5 which was also fine. But then she couldn’t add the glitter how I wanted (gradual fade) so I told her to not do it.
The second time I came, the experience was a little better. She wasn’t as opinionated and went with what I wanted. Although I just went with a square shape. The gel didn’t last as long though like the first visit. It lasted maybe about a week and a half and started to peel. I did like that on both occasion she would soften my hands with a warm lotion and a warm wet towel. Everything was very clean, including the place itself. I also liked that she only booked appointments through reservations. There are no walk-​ins so your time with her is peaceful without distractions.
Vicky clearly speaks highly of herself saying she is a perfectionist. I wouldn’t say her work is bad but she lacks professionalism and a good attitude. The inside of this place is very clean. There is the main small room and two split rooms. One of the rooms is Vicky’s to do her skincare practices. The other room is another aesthetician’s who also does skincare. In the main room is Vicky’s nail area. She has plenty of colored gels to choose from and they are of high quality. Her room is located in the back of the building plaza and you can drive back there to park.

Vicky was the highlight of a work trip to Newport Beach for a conference.
I haven’t had a facial or let anyone near my eyebrows in years after two poignantly bad experiences (which will probably occupy a page or two in my memoir someday). I booked a facial & microdermabrasion in an attempt to relax after the conference and since I’d noticed a lot more fine lines since I turned 28.
Vicky is kind, funny, and direct. She offered to polish up my eyebrows (they’re not freakish, just something I had to slightly pencil into congruence every morning) without making me feel self conscious. The result is a shorter morning make up routine and symmetry! I was really nervous but so happy when she gave me a mirror to see the results.
She also gave me the best facial of my life and really spent the time to make sure every extraction that needed to be made happened. Extractions aren’t «relaxing» per se but we chatted amiably and I barely noticed any discomfort. She didn’t rush, even though I was her last booking of the day and probably kept her there a good bit of time past closing.
I will definitely be returning the next time I am in Southern California. My skin is glowing and my face looks 5 years younger after she shaped my brows and performed the facial/​microdermabrasion.

Vicky was very thorough with her service and was very determined to fix my eyebrows. She was very very sweet and made me feel like she really wanted to help me. I came here because of the Unilocal reviews and what everyone said about her customer service is excellent.

I had my facial with Vicky two weeks ago and my skin is still glowing! She took great care in making sure I felt comfortable because it had been ten years since I had a «deep clean» facial. She even called me a week later to make sure I was happy with the results and using the lotion I purchased (which is amazing!). I completely recommend Vicky for mani’s, brows and facials!

Best customer service ever. She is kind and really cares for her clients. I got my nails done by her and they lasted extremely long without chipping. I come to get my eyebrows waxed by her every so often, and she is very gentle with it. I also love the fact that she even gave me and my friend free food while we wait for each other to get nails/​eyebrows done.
Overall, I highly recommend coming to get your nails or eyebrow waxing done by Vicky.

I got a gel manicure done by Vicky and she did a great job. I wanted something natural, yet girly and the color she recommended was perfect for me. My nails looked beautiful. She was very friendly and the supplies she used were clean. She really took her time with me and didn’t rush. She specializes in facials so I will give that a try next time.
Tip: I couldn’t find the place at first but eventually found it. Drive to the back of the building (back side of the plaza) on the 2^nd floor.

I got a Groupon for gel manicures which Vicky did a great job on. While talking to her I learned that she offers so many great services and seems very knowledgeable. I decided to have her do my eyebrows also while I was there. She did such a great job! I have never had my eyebrows waxed, always threaded but she did awesome with the wax and paid such great attention to detail! I’ll definitely be going back to Vicky!

I followed Vicky to her new salon. My gels always turn out perfect and last for weeks. I wouldn’t go to anyone else for my nails. I’ve gotten my eyebrows done as well and it was pretty painless. Her prices are very reasonable and it’s always very clean.

I’m so glad that Vicky found me and brought me to her store. Now I don’t trust anyone else with my nails and brows because she takes so much care to make it perfect and to make sure that I always leave happy. Vicky gives the best facials. My skin is smooth and flawless after a year of using her services. She really cares about her customers and provides great one on one customer service. Vicky takes her time and is a perfectionist to make sure her customers are satisfied. I love her new salon !!

Ive been going to Vicky for about a year now and I’m a huge fan. Her new salon is so relaxing and peaceful. I had a very bad acne problem and now i am acne free! Vicky is amazing at what she does and her prices are great! Highly recommended!
