It’s terrifying that this group is growing their horrible practice as they are a money-​hungry, numb and disconnected collection of individuals who should never have been allowed to practice medicine. After giving them so many chances for a year, we have left them and we suggest you don’t start going… and if you have started to beware of the low level of HUMAN care and treatment you receive. Our kids are precious and there are much better doctors out there!

Started bringing my son since he was born in 2012 and after my daughter was born in 2014 she has been a pt there also. The office staff is great! The doctors are awesome! Everytime I call to make an appointment they always have even same day appt if I needed it. They have a sick and well room. There waiting rooms consist of disney channel on and toys so the children may be entertained while waiting to be seen by the doctor. The whole office is beautifully painted also which my kids love to see.

I am so disappointed in Dr. Matlick and the nurses at this office. I brought my 2 year old in about 6 weeks ago to get 3 specific vaccines that he needed to start school. They came in and injected him with 4 needles which I found bizarre considering he only needed three and when I asked they said one vaccines required two shots. Made sense I guess. After leaving, I get a call from Dr. Matlick herself, who tells me that she and her nurses made a big mistake and injected my child with an entirely wrong lineup of injections. Some of which he already had done just a few weeks prior, and others that I specifically did not want in his body. She tried to justify the huge error by expressing the benefits of getting them and saying «he should really have all of these anyways», when it’s me, his mother, who gets to make that call, not her. I was really shaken after this, I paid close attention to him after this because he could have very well become sick because of this Drs error. Thank goodness he didn’t.
Now this week, he’s come down with a terrible flu, there are no appointments so I ask them if they will refill the liquid amoxicillin for him. I’ve spent all yesterday and today on the phone with them, all for nothing. They broke my trust with their error on my child and they could have redeemed themselves by showing they care about my child’s health but they don’t. They’re entirely reckless. The only consistent pattern with newport Childrens medical center is; irresponsibility. It was irresponsible to make the error of injecting a sequence of incorrect vaccines into my baby and it’s irresponsible to leave my baby hanging without a dr visit or medicine to help him. The least they could have done after their huge mistake was squeeze us in today or call in a refill, but no, they didn’t even care. Maybe these errors happen all the time with them.
Either way I’m happy to say I’ve begun reporting this place for their unconscionable mistake at my childs expense and we will never have to visit this trash box of a Drs office again. If all goes well this place will be shut down for negligence. Don’t go here.

These reviews about «Courtney Jones, D. O». are SOOO TRUE! I can’t even put «DR.» and her name in the same sentence. I had my doubts and tried to give her the benefit of the doubt, but seriously, do not see her. Go see a actual board certified dr. at this practice.

She needs to start listening to her patients and not make assumptions with the health concern could be or could not be… especially when it comes to the patients medical history.

Dr. Jones is a horrible doctor. I am in the doctors office every week for the last six months with double ear infections. My 14 month old grandson is constantly on an antibiotic. She is so insensitive and insist it is normal. She is crazy.

This group is awful! I am sitting in the office and Dr is already 45 mins late. I have been sitting here waiting and no one advised us Dr hasn’t even arrived yet…
Last visit we waited 1.5 hrs to see a dr before walking out of office. Need to work on organization and communication.
We’ve been patients here for 5 years and only past year has service gone drastically downhill. If time, or a need to get to work, is important to you, do not choose this office. It requires taking a full day off in order to have an appt.

Horrible experience! Dr. Jones is a disgusting thoughtless insensitive individual who doesn’t have enough common sense to be around children. We came here for years and had a great experience with Dr. Gagliardi. Now that she is gone we won’t be coming back.

Unfortunately we did not have the same luck as other people reviews here. The doctors are just ok; doctors take forever to call back after a visit to follow up questions regarding medications or in case of emergency when child health worsen. The staff in the Huntington Beach office are very RUDE and disrespectful. When it comes to specialist referrals it takes forever for approvals, in two occasions the referral had the wrong code or some kind of mistake. Basically they are careless about the patient well being. Last but no least, a little before the flu season I made a flu vaccine appointment for my daughters. The day of the appointment we showed up on time and to our surprise the front desk office lady stated that we were late; therefore, the doctor could not see my daughters. She said that she called the day before to say that the appointments hours had changed. To this point I can only say that I never received a phone call neither a massage was left on my voicemail. What makes me wonder is; what this people think they are to play with peoples time and change appointments as they please?
My husband and I called numerous times to the Newport Children’s Medical Group office manager to report this issues; basically was useless; until this date we have not received a call back. After this experiences we decided to change doctors to my daughters, we are glad that we don’t have to deal with the same nightmare ever again.

Do Not see Gagliardi. She knew my son had pinworms and wanted to wait 5 days to treat him just to «verify «in the stool sample after I said I saw them. Plus very ommissive on other things.

This is a wonderful place to take your kids for all of their medical needs. The doctors are terrific and compassionate and kind, every one of them. Great location, convenient parking, and best of all… availability that really works. They are open seven days a week and on most holidays. Urgently sick kids can get same-​day appointments. Well kids can stay that way because they are in a different lobby altogether from the kids with runny noses who — bless the poor little dears — are coughing and sneezing as they wait to be seen. Speaking of the wait… happily, there really isn’t one. This office is clean and comfortable, everyone is friendly, and we’ve never had to wait for our doctor for very long.
Dr. Angela Gagliardi is my daughter’s pediatrician, and we adore her. We consistently receive attentive, expert care from her as well as from Dr. Reda and Dr. Kornu, and we have always had great experiences with all of the nurses and staff.

We love our son’s pediatrician, Dr. Kornu! She is so sweet and friendly and our toddler is comfortable around her. She’s easy to talk to and gives great advice. When Dr Kornu was out on her own maternity leave, we also saw Dr. Gagliardi who was also fantastic. In fact, we met every doctor in the practice when I was in Hoag recovering from my c-​section, as a different doctor visited each day to check up on my son. It was actually a great way to meet them and decide which I wanted as my primary pediatrician. The office is also very nice, they have a good online system and great parking, different well/​sick entrances and great hours. It would be a 5-​star rating except during my last visit for son’s flu shot we had a cranky nurse who was slightly off-​putting — not bad though considering we’ve been there dozens of times with great nurses.
