My brother and I came to this place with a box of silver dollars, quarters, nickels, and baby krugerrands and asked them for some help in evaluating them. Dennis couldn’t have been more helpful or more generous with his time; or more informative. He patiently went through our whole box on a Saturday afternoon and give us 45 minutes of his time as unselfishly as I’ve ever seen anybody help anyone. Since I’m a former educator, I know truly helpful people when I meet them. Like me, Dennis loves coins and the way he runs his business totally shows this. I could not recommend this place any higher and I can tell you very simply there will be no other place in Orange County we will go to buy or sell our coins from now on. Simply put Dennis was a pleasure to meet and deal with.

WOW. This place is absolutely amazing…
My boyfriend’s Mother had numerous coins that were inherited from family. We walked in (no appointment needed) and were greeted by Dennis, Brian, and Jessica who were obviously very skilled in their exceptional customer service. Dennis spent approximately two hours going through multiple bags of coins educating myself and my boyfriend, in the process, of how coins are valued. I felt as though I was in school learning a whole new level of something I absolutely had no knowledge of. The whole experience was amazing and thorough. The end result was bringing his elderly Mother a very generous amount of money (that was completely unexpected) and just seeing the smile on her face.

I had the privilege of meeting Dennis Tarrant today when I accompanied my mother to an appraisal of her small collection of rare coins. She inherited some of the coins and collected others throughout the years but had no idea of their value.
From our first call seeking answers to questions we didn’t even know to ask, we were treated with kindness and grace. Neither of us knew a thing about numismatics and never felt talked down to, rather we felt we were included and educated during every part of the process. And that was the case with each person we spoke with: Victor, Tom and Brian.
It was fascinating to learn a bit of history on each coin, and indeed Mr. Tarrant listened closely to my mom and how she came to be heir of the coins — all part of the story.
While the value of the coins is not going to change my Mom’s life, she may be able to visit two of her sons while she is still strong enough to travel on her own.
