It’s my mom’s birthday today to I wanted a cute place to take her to lunch. I randomly found this restaurant and I’m glad I did. I love Italian food and Fettuccine Alfredo is always a must for me. As always I ordered the fettuccine Alfredo and I loved it. On top of amazing food, the workers here are so friendly and welcoming. They make the restaurant a much better place to eat. I’m definitely going to come back. Thank you Quattro Caffé!

Good place inside South Coast Plaza for lunch. The atmosphere is relaxing; it was good to have a break between shopping sessions. We got the following dishes: ARUGULASALAD Organic baby arugula + fennel + parmigiano reggiano + lemon dressing It was very fresh and light for summer! I loved how they use lemon dressing, that made the salad refreshing. SEAFOODRISOTTO This was a secret dish not on your regular menu. It was okay, not too special. RAVIOLI Dl ZUCCA Homemade ravioli filled with pumpkin with aurora sauce. This was for my colleague who is a vegetarian. She didn’t like it very much. PESCEDELGIORNO Fresh fish of the day. It was served with mashed potato, grilled zucchini and eggplants. We got sea bass, and it was so delicious! My favorite for the day! Highly recommend this! Overall, the food was good but a bit pricey.

Amazing food, been going here since I was little. When it was armani café. I love the Mista salad, margarita pizza and spaghetti pomodoro. I will say the waiters sometimes feel like they are rushing you… Like you get your drinks and are expected to know what you want. Which is fine if your in a hurry, but if wanted to have a leisurely lunch it can be annoying. Doesn’t keep me from going though! Love this place!

Wonderful lunch experience! The waiters were polite and funny. I ordered a steak sandwich with fries and really enjoyed it. Reasonable prices. Great location in South Coast.

By far the best Italian place I have found ever! Every single person in this restaurant is extremely humble, helpful, knowledgable, and quick! This has to be about the 4th or 5th time I have dined here now and every time my best experience is the singing and the laughing with the wonderful Dominico«owner». The food is always so delicious and very well portioned, presentation is superb! Thank you also to our amazing server Pascual for a wonderful and rememberable time!

What a disappointment! 5 of us came here for co-worker’s bday lunch. The host at the podium was on his phone texting as we stood there. And when he finished — he just looked up and gave us that ‘what?’ look. He was not pleasant at all. I noticed he was acting like that to other customers coming in also so it wasn’t just us. Food was bland. We had the seafood pasta(bleh). Fettucine alfready — didn’t look like it had any alfredo in it, just the noodle. Salmon pasta… eh. chicken masala… she didn’t even care to take home the other half. and a basic burger. in and out would have been way much better and cheaper. not worth coming here at all. vie de france around the corner would have been much better.

I stumbled upon this pace a few years ago and have loved it ever since. The food is always fresh and yummy. The service is also very good. You can’t go wrong with Quattro!

Passed by many, many times. At the urging of a friend we popped in. Knowing that I have to stick to a gluten free diet-why go to an Italian restaurant? This place proved to be amazing. Dominico the general manager was on site and stopped by to make sure we were well taken care of and happy. The pic below is the only pic of the tiramisu I could snap before it disappeared. I had the spaghetti bolognese gluten free pasta, and no cheese. This-a was-a so-a good-a! I ended up talking with my hands for the rest of the night! And I swear I grew chest hair!(took a second order for lunch the next day-to-day just to make sure it wasn’t a dream) They had roughly 12 items gluten free. Definitely coming back! Chad was the best waiter there, never would have navigated the menu without him!

This place is all about the presentation and show, and definitely not about quality. I don’t think repeat customers is a big concern for them as they are in a mall. The host is dressed in a suit. The employees are curious. The waiter is dressed in a chef’s uniform. A couple stars for this. The food tasted as generic as can be. Panda Express is probably more fresh than this place. Fries definitely frozen. The most generic and bland tasting fries I’ve had in years. The veggie soup tasted like it was out of a can; more than likely, it was. The veggie panini was decent, but definitely the first time I paid $ 18 for a veggie panini w/frozen fries. We paid $ 35(after tip and tax) for a veggie panini w/fries and a veggie soup. This place was all about presentation(just to get attract the customers inside), but the quality is highly lacking(like zero quality in food) and wayyyyyyyyy over priced(for the quality). If you’re looking for food in the mall, you will regret going here. There is a place right around the corner in the mall(French or Italian) that has a similar menu and prices are almost half.

Cute place inside South coast plaza for lunch. I had the special of the day, halibut with lemon caper sauce. I had the sauce on the side. Halibut was perfectly cooked. Mashed potatoes were creamy. Menu has many pasta options as well. Oh and the tropical iced tea was so refreshing. I was incredibly impressed with the service. Everyone was so attentive and friendly!

We’ve decided that after 20 years, we are done with Quattro Café. Last night’s dinner was so average, bordering on blah. More importantly, it’s the«little things» that have changed and it really affected the experience. These things include: *The addition of a large screen television in the rear of the restaurant. Really? So distracting and cheap. *The nice menus have been replaced with laminated menus. *The prices have increased again. It’s such a shame because we have enjoyed so many great meals here. Maybe we will return again one day… if the television is gone.

I recently had the pleasure of eating at this restaurant for the first time. This is South Coast Plaza gem ! I am so glad we decided to eat here because the calamari here is amazing and I haven’t stopped thinking about in ever since we ate here last week. Our waiter’s name was a younger guy(maybe mid to late 20’s) named Jose. He is the perfect example of how great customer service should be in any restuarant. He was professional, courteous and quick. We ordered the pizza and it might have been made in an old school fire oven because it was so delicious. I will definetly be coming back for the filet mignon. :)

What a great first impression! I came here on a Saturday right before lunch rush and had about a 10 minute wait, which was more than enough time to decide what to order. I got filet mignon with asparagus and mashed potatoes along with Caesar salad. The mignon was cooked perfectly! Medium rare! Potatoes were divine and the salad was the best I’ve had. Which is surprising… How can a restaurant go wrong with Caesar salad?! Just enough dressing and plenty of chicken. It is a little pricey but worth it.

Food was good and service was great after we were seated. I ordered the veal, which was really good. I also ordered two pepperoni pizzas for my kids and my mother had a roast beef sandwich. The server and the bus were excellent at recommending menu choices and keeping our glasses of tea full. It was a great location to kill time while we waited for our turn to take pictures with Santa. The only dissatisfaction I experienced was the wait to get seated. The host mistakenly crossed our name off the list which made our wait a little longer.

Just an average meal. Service is great though! I ordered the pasta and they were able to customize it to my liking. I had fettuccini with pesto, $ 21. The pasta was cooked al dente, the way it should be. But the overall taste was a little bland and the parmesan cheese they sprinkled on top also had no taste and did nothing to enhance the dish. For the price point of their dishes, I don’t think I’ll be coming back. Too bad because this place is so convenient in the mall, seems popular, and is always busy.

It was 12:30pm on Black Friday. Somehow, I had been up running around with my Fam since 5am but at the mall since 9am. It was a MADHOUSE! My sister and I were sitting at the bench outside of Macy’s waiting for my other sister and her fam(they truly are expert marathon shoppers). I was exhausted, in a daze and yet somehow borderline delirious when my sis asked me why were we not waiting for them with a glass of wine in hand? BRILLIANT! Quattro was the closest spot and although we were quoted a 30 min wait, we decided to stick it out because every where else was also jammed packed. I have been shopping at South Coast for over 20+ years and have never stopped in to Quattro so I wasn’t sure what to expect. Once seated, I took a look around to survey my surroundings. The décor inside was a nod to Italian caffes with old movie images all over the walls – mostly of Sophia Loren. We decided to split: — Bottle of Starmont Chardonnay — Complimentary Foccacia and bread sticks — Insalate Contadino(Grilled chicken breast, greens, warm brie, fresh tomatoes & toast) — Fries — Chocolate Molten Lava Cake The Chardonnay was a great choice – crisp, full flavored… Starmont is always a solid vino. The insalate was exactly what we needed since we were so desperately needing greens. It was fresh and hearty with tons of chicken — and ooey, gooey brie. Perfect! As for the cake, it had good flavor but was overcooked because it lacked some of the gooey«lava» and was a bit dry. Those may have been the only items we personally tasted but every dish that walked by smelled and looked amazing! I’ll definitely be back to try some pastas and pizzas. They also seem to have some great happy hour items ranging from $ 4-$ 7(M-F, 4pm-6pm). The best surprise of the day was the awesome service! As mentioned, the mall was a MADHOUSE and the restaurant was constantly turning over tables. However, it didn’t seem to phase the staff at all. Our waiter was incredibly attentive which was particularly appreciated since we were feeling so beat down from the craziness. And yes, after we were watered and fed… we charged out for more hours and hours of shopping!

I normally would just order my lunch to go, but I was with a client and finally dined in at this place. Good ambiance, very chill with a one man live music singing and playing oldies, but goodies music by Elvis Presley. Don’t know if they have live music every dinner time, but on a Monday night they did. Good portions on their pasta and other food. Servers and bussers were attentive. Parking lot is not too far and you can also people watch since inside a very popular and busy plaza/mall. Unfortunately, I’m only gonna be able to give 3 stars because of how noisy it could be with shoppers passing by and with the music playing, you really have to speak up and talk loud. Not good for people who wants to hear the other peraon while they’re talking business. It is otherwise a place one muat try. I enjoyed it and will hopefully be back soon!

This Italian place is located inside of south coast plaza, so it’s great to come here to eat food after a long day of shopping. Me and my friends decided to come here for some dessert and drinks. Service here is really friendly, the guy was very nice, so no complaints there. I got the panna cotta and OMG was it amazing! It kind of tasted like half flan and half crème brûlée. The texture was so soft and the caramel sauce went so well with it. I would definitely come back just to get this dessert again. The strawberries on the side were really sweet as well, and I normally don’t like strawberries to begin with. My friend got the chocolate lava cake and she said it was super rich. My other friends got the calamari and they surprisingly thought it was delicious. I will definitely be back to try their entrees, so for now I’m just giving this place a 5 star for good service and some bombass panna cotta!
