The best of the best. Been there three times. Coming back tomorrow with a membership. She’s SO fast and it STAYS! !!! Never orange nor stinky. Makes me feel so much sexier! Always a good conversation too. Love her.

I absolutely LOVE Sun In A Gun Tanning!!! Not only does the tan look completely natural, but it last longer than any other spray tan I have ever had! Karissa is the absolute sweetest and so flexible with times to get you in for your spray tan (she stayed extra late last time for me so I had a great tan for my birthday)! Not to mention she makes all natural sugar/​/​coconut oil scrubs for pre-​tanning which I am completely in LOVE with as well! I swear they help keep my tan extra long! Just love this place!

Awesome spray tan!!! She is so sweet and professional and gives great maintenance advice. I went for New Years, and I’m going again before my trip to Vegas. This tan lasted almost a week also and didn’t smell bad or ruin any of my clothing. Highly recommend!

So quick and effective I don’t know why I haven’t tried this place earlier! The girl even accommodated me as a walk in which I found very nice. I opted for a dark tan and I am super impressed with the color. (I even had to shower three hours early) and my color is still spot on!!! Loved her finishing touches with the air dry and then baby powder dusting as well. I left only the tiniest bit sticky but not uncomfortable at all! I will definitely be back… She also has a loyalty card tan 4 times and the 5^th one is free!

Last week, I had a tanning for my 9^th wedding anniversary staycation at Pelican Hills Resort. I was in a hurry and left my diamond bezel gold Rolex watch. After I returned home, I noticed that the watch was missing just before we checked into the hotel. At first, I wasn’t even sure whether I left the watch at Karrisa’s salon. Well, to my surprise, Karissa kept my watch safely and my hubby picked it up. My wedding anniversary day was shaken upside down twice by this incident. Thanks for your honesty, Karissa!
Back to the Airbrush Tanning — I’m a huge fan of Karissa’s airbrush tanning because she gives you this gorgeous natural looking glow and she is the first one to blow the Baby Powder after the tanning session so it doesn’t get sticky. Very nice little final touch makes a big difference. I’ve tried a few other places in Newport Beach in the past, but by far Sun In A Gun is the BEST!

This was my first custom airbrush spray tan in a few years, so I was a little nervous. I had to work an event in Vegas last weekend, so I needed to be tan and looking good! She gave me a lighter shade, but it looked amazing! I got so many compliments on my tan! She made me feel very comfortable and she’s very nice. I will definitely be coming back!

Went back for the 3^rd time today and im stilllll in love! Tried the express custom full body airbrush, its so worth an extra 10 bucks bc you can shower 3 hours later and ur tan is still on fleeeeeeek!

I got my first custom airbrush tan from her and I was so impressed! Hardly any smell and the tan was so even. This was also the longest-​lasting spray tan I have ever had. I was worried about being uncomfortable getting a spray tan in front of an actual person (I normally use mystic machines), but it was so laid-​back and chill that I felt totally comfortable there! I will definitely be going back more now that it’s summer.

Karissa is great! I’m obsessed with airbrush tans because if the right person sprays you correctly, you look like you’ve just walked off the beaches of Tahiti WITHOUT damaging your skin from harmful UVs! Karissa does just that! There are 4 levels to chose from, I usually do level 3 (dark) for everyday glowing tan, and level 4 (super dark) for Vegas or River excursions. Karissa is so nice. She makes you feel very comfortable and she explains everything, so there’s no need to be timid. My airbrush tan usually lasts 6 to 10 days depending on what I’m doing. (The more you exfoliate or go I and out of water, especially chlorine, the more it fades) but Karissa’s solution fades evenly, so you won’t be blotchy! Definitely switch to airbrush if you want an all over, even, bronzed look!

Ok so I never really write reviews but had to give Karissa some love because this is by far THE HAPPIEST IVE EVER BEEN WITH A SPRAY TAN!!! I did the organic full body airbrush with a groupon for $ 19! It was fast, easy, her shop is so cute (and clean), and she makes you feel comfortable even though your pretty much spinning around naked in front of a stranger… That has to be hard to do. There was no nasty smell, I have sensitive skin and it didn’t bother it at all, and most of all it seriously looks amazing! It’s natural but evened out my skin tone and gave me a subtle glow. I love it!!! Never going anywhere else again.

I was in a wedding last weekend and wanted some color, since I’m normally bordering on transparent :) The wedding was on Saturday and I went in on Wednesday morning. This was my first spray tan and I was afraid I would end up looking like an orange mess, but the color came out very golden and natural. Karissa was awesome and made me feel so comfortable! The tan was very even and I got so many compliments on the day of. Her salon is really cute and her price point is more than reasonable. I would definitely go back to see her!
