Authentic delicious tacos! Taco Tuesday is always the best bet $$$ wise. But we have been here 6 times. And it’s always on point, Food wise. We always get the rice and beans with 3 tacos. Chorizo and al pastor are our favorites. Tacos are small so order about 5 — 6 per persons. Pros Spacious Plenty of seating Simple ordering process Karaōke Awesome Mexican music Cons Karaōke can get loud– we’ve literally gone deaf. Salsa bar has no containers Salsa bar need more options — onions chiles 5 stars on the food Overall 4 rating due to the loudness of their karaōke — been twice during karaōke… No Bueno! I recommend avoiding it unless you’re drunk and don’t care about hearing loss

My daughter and I stopped here for a quick snack. We had four soft tacos between us. Chicken, steak, and marinated pork. Meat was tender and not fatty. Liked the flavor. Salsas(red and green) and veggies from the salsa bar were tasty. Four stars is based on food we tried. Place is just a small hole-in-the-wall and strip mall not very nice but I would certainly go back. One of the other Unilocalers said they do Taco Tuesday for $ 1 plus tax. If it’s the same quantity of meat it would be a «must remember». At $ 1.75 or $ 2 I would probably go to a better restaurant if I want more than a quick snack.

Great little hole in the wall Mexican food for a good proce. I wish they would stay open a little later, would make great drunk food since it is close to the bars and Triangle.

Tacos Tues are really $ 1.08 plus tax, not $ 1 and 8 cents tax(regular price is $ 1.59) and it’s only for chicken, pastor, or chorizo meats — they are good little suckers. The other meats are alright too. Nothing amazing about this place, but if you’re already hanging in front, it’s not a bad choice going in.

Love this place! Very authentic and the staff is very friendly! They’ll custom make stuff for you that’s not on the menu if you ask nicely too. I eat here at least twice a week. Two thumbs up!

The menu needs to look more appealing… The restaurant was fairly clean when I walked in… maybe because there were only 2 customers inside??? I got a steak burrito and a taco for $ 8.19 … The meat had no flavor… I ate it bc I didn’t want to throw it away and waste my money but I’m not eating here again… sorry but I didn’t like it enough to come back…

Came here on a Tuesday because we were in the neighborhood and caught their Taco Tuesday. The options for Taco Tuesday include: carne, pollo, and two others I’ve now forgotten. We ordered 5 tacos: 2 each of carne, 2 each of al pastor and 1 lengua. The total? Under $ 7. The condiment bar was pretty good with your usual: onions, lime, cilantro, zanahorias en escabeche, red and green salsa etc. Everything was fresh and very tasty. The red salsa had a nice kick to it. I would come back again for a quick taco if I’m in the area, it wasn’t bad at all.

Wish I could post a picture but after the first bite I couldn’t stop eating it. Went to a shop close by that recommended this place. I had my food within five minutes of ordering. It was amazing. The service was great and the woman at the register was extremely sweet and accommodating. Can’t beat the price. Thanks Taco Gil!

Was craving tacos and happened to be about a block away. Decided to stop in on a Saturday at 2:30 pm, and there was plenty of parking and only one couple inside the small taco shop. Their 3 taco combination features rice and beans for $ 5.99. The tacos aren’t overly filling, but a decent size. They only come with the tortilla and meat, then you add your own fixins — salsa, cilantro, onions, lime, etc. I tried a pollo, a pastor, and a carne asada taco. I was surprised at how good the pollo taco was — probably one of the best I’ve had in terms of the flavor of the chicken. The pastor was also really good. The asada was not nearly as good, which was disappointing, considering most asada tacos are delicious. Overall though, this place was pretty good. I’ll be back if I’m in the area for sure! Oh, and they do accept credit cards.

Simple bean and cheese burrito can’t be made correctly. The chips tasted dry and hard. My friend says the tacos were alright, but the«Taco Tuesday» special is so insignificant we’re not coming back. This place is small and gross. The highlight of our visit was watching Terminator 2 on the tiny tv without audio. If I could leave stars empty, I would.

This has become my favorite lunch spot over the past month. Every day they have a particular dish that is special to the day. Their soups are hands down. Fantastic. Monday is there chicken soup day. I found out it is cooked with integrity and skill. Each ingredient is prepared separately then ultimately combined together perfectly. The chicken is moist and tender not over cooked, soft carrots big potato chunks all appear to be hand cut. To sum it up this is a great home style meal with generous portions. I think Wednesday. Or Thursday is a beef soup similar style but big pieces of a stewed be which is also awesome. I put a pic of my lunch today. If you are in the area and want a great lunch come and try their soup!

I’m impressed. Everything is good. $ 5.99 for 3 tacos beans and rice. The Carne Asada is perfect with no fat or hard pieces. Salsa bar is fresh and clean as well as the rest of the restaurant. Workers are very nice. This is my new place go for lunch.

This place is so dank if you crave a fast mexican meal. Their food is pretty basic but in a it’s small little store in 19th street in a small«shopping center». Finding parking could be a pain since I’m a local you’re chances of finding parking is 50⁄50. But enough of the parking and onto the food. The food is great, their meat is tasty and well cooked. Their prices are fair as well. However I do wish there was some creation on the menu as all you see is burritos, tacos, enchiladas, etc. pretty basic but still tasty. Hopefully this store still sticks around because it’s always dead whenever I come here especially on taco Tuesday’s. Overall it’s a great stop if you have the munchies and crave a nice little mexican style meal.

OK. Birria was good. Tacos al pastor were decent(not on a trompo).
