Matt, Nicole and Ashley designed our dream kitchen, and they were all wonderful to work with! With very little guidance and direction, they came up with a design that was everything we wanted — clean, efficient (lots of storage!) and above all, beautiful. Being new to the remodel process, we needed a lot of help wrapping our heads around the myriad design options, and the Tellus Design team supported us every step of the way. They are consummate professionals, prompt and very responsive, and most of all, fun to work with. I cannot recommend Tellus Design enough!

A great team! Brett is a perfectionist! He won’t consider the job complete unless you are completely satisfied. We used them for our remodel of our home. I can’t rave enough about the meticulous eye Brett has. He made sure everything was done to our liking. I am looking forward to hiring them again for future projects because I know I will not be disappointed! Most importantly Brett an Jesse are honest which is hard to come by with contractors.

The «tension» between designers and contractors is widely known, and it’s this inability to work as a team that often leads to unsuccessful projects and an unhappy client. The case isn’t true here though! As the owner of a firm which strives to design some of the most original and environmentally conscious projects around, Tellus Design + Build has proven themselves time and time again to exceed all of the expectations of «The Lab» and our clients. Their passion for sustainable building and professionalism are remarkable. Jesse Fowler is the best general contractor I have ever worked with, hands down. His estimates are accurate and reliable and payments have been paid on time, every time. I look forward to working with him and his company for the rest of my career.

When it comes to contractors or interior designers, Tellus Design and Build is at the TOP of my list. Jesse and Brett are professional, courteous, produce a fantastic product, and are great people to work with. If you are looking for a contractor or interior designer in the Los Angeles or Orange County areas give Tellus Design and Build a call, I believe you will be happy you did.

We used Tellus in 2007 for an environmentally friendly remodel to our bedrooms and bathrooms. It was a challenge for all of us considering the restrictions we place on the products. By they came through like champs. They did a wonderful job. They were on premises every day, came in before deadline and didn’t go over budget without our authorization. I would highly recommend them.

Brett and Jesse are awesome guys and are really amazing at what they do! Brett was my contractor on site and he simply got things done. He knew the difference quickly when someone was really giving it their all and someone who was ‘full of it’. Once Brett and Jesse came on board everything got done correctly and within good time. I highly recommend them and would trust them with any size project.

Jesse and Brett are contractors but more importantly they are Professionals.
We used them to remodel our downstairs. They were organized, courteous, punctual, up front about costs, honorable, detail oriented, concerned about my satisfaction. A lot of GC’s just want to get the job done and then move on — these guys wanted to get it done right. Brett pushes his crews and keeps a tight schedule. The best of their subs were top notch and concerned about every detail. The worst of the subs were held to a standard higher than what they were used to — as it should be.
Would I use them again? Yes. In fact we are already discussing another project.
