Not sure if I even want to rate this place a two. I’m too tired to write a whole lot right now. I’ve been to many T.G.I Friday’s all over and in many different states and I have got to say this was the worse one by far. The food was terrible. I had cheeseburger sliders elsewhere a few months ago after a raiders game and they were so good I was really looking forward to the same experience tonight. They literally tasted like White Castle burgers you pull out of the freezer. The buns were dry and the meat and onions didn’t taste too good. Steak was not done and raw. Potato wasn’t done and both potato and Mac n cheese tasted very plain. The sweet potato fries were over seasoned. The food was cold. Whiskey drink was great until we found a nasty thick long hair in it. When the server took it to the manager he/she didn’t even come out to apologize and say hey let me take that one off your bill. Instead they sent her back out to us to say sorry and wanted to offer us a free dessert or both on our next visit… For 60 $ plus a 10 $ tip it was definitely not worth it. The place is great. Entirely too big I think. They were very busy and it seemed as if the food was rushed. The server tried her best and was good about refilling the drinks at least. We definitely won’t be visiting again. It left a very bad taste in our mouth. I’m lying in bed right now with an upset stomach.

PARKING: Park adjacent to TGIFriday’s at the old macaroni grill. Honestly I was surprised at how good the appetizers and drinks were. Came here with a co-worker/friend before going to see Wicked and ordered the chicken strips thinking they’d be regular chicken strips but they were better! They were like soaked in Jack Daniel’s bbq sauce but not dripping and the breading didn’t overtake the chicken itself so it was sooo good! I also ordered a strawberry margarita on the rocks thinking it would be similar to something I’d get at El Torito, but no! This was everything! It wasn’t all sugar and the tequila didn’t over power it and the presentation with the pineaple slice, strawberry slice and lime just made this drink so cute! My co-worker ordered the loaded baked potato skins and I’m not a huge baked potato fan and thought these were alright. We let the waitress know we were seeing Wicked that night and to please get the order out in a timely matter and she was nice about it and got it out on time. Definitely would recommend getting a small bite here before seeing a show.

Endless appetizers for the win! I came with a group of seven people on a Friday(TGIF!!!) around 6:45pm. Any later and we definitely would have had to wait for seats. This place fills up fast! We asked for the endless app menu. For $ 10, you can pick one appetizer and refill that same one as many times as you want. For $ 12, you pick an appetizer, and then refill with appetizers of your choice. If you go in a big group like I did, you can do multiple $ 10 options and share with your friends. What a steal! –Mozzarella sticks: Crispy and cheesy –Spinach Florentine Flatbread: Tasty but very filling –Pan-Seared Potstickers: More like dumplings because they didn’t pan fry them enough –Beef Tostadas: Tasty but the tostada was pretty hard –Boneless Wings: You can never go wrong with Garlic Parmesan and BBQ. However, Ghost Pepper was definitely my favorite — spicy but super flavorful. The PB&J totally tastes like Thai curry, which I surprisingly enjoyed. Every fifteen minutes or so, we got rounds of the appetizers I just listed. I think we did six or seven rounds and we completely stuffed!

This was an average visit for a T.G.I. Friday’s. The location is fairly convenient; not too far from the freeway. The food was ok, my BBQ Chicken flatbread was a little overdone but luckily I can tolerate semi-burnt edges of crust, however this was a little crispy. Other than that the flavor was good. Overall, the visit was AOK; there’s not much that really stood out about the service etc.

Probably the slowest service I’ve ever received. I probably could’ve hunted a live animal and cooked it in the same amount of time. Further, adding insult to injury, I’ve had a mad case of the runs cause the food was so bad!

Went to watch the NFL games. Reasonable prices for drinks. The Jack Daniels menu is always a good choice. Excellent choice of beers on tap. Recommend!

Would have given this place a 4 because. ya know, it’s pretty good but not spectacular. Good place to grab something you know will be good and beers that do the job. Gave it a 5 because our server was freakin awesome. We will probably request him when whenever we come here from now on. Hmmmm. maybe we should just get his schedule. But seriously, Nick was awesome– super friendly and attentive. Someone give this guy a raise!

Went here a little after 9pm for a late last minute dinner. Wasn’t as packed so that was good, meant no wait. We had a friendly waitress she checked up on us frequently. Prices for happy hour drinks are good. Overall we had a great dining experience here. Would come back for a last minute quick meal. Food was delicious by the way. :)

Food is like the rest of the other TGI Friday’s. Went here before an event at 7pm, and let them know that we head to be out by then. They were accommodating and made sure we were out by then. a Plus! Parking is 3 hours free with validation in the parking structure… so dont forget to bring your vaildation ticket!.

WOW. This was the WORST Fridays experience ever. It was a wednesday night, and it was NOT busy. We had to wait to be seated(when the place was practically empty — as far as Fridays goes). Then once we were sat, we waited 10 minutes until our server came to great us, and bring water… This is NOT the Friday way at all! And I use to serve at Fridays in Long Beach for 4 years. We should have been treated within the first minute of being seated… if you were slammed, at least send someone else over, or make eye contact to aknowledge us. Once we gave him our drink order, with the amount of time it took to bring us a Corona and Rita on the rocks, when he did come back with the beer only, we put in our order. Waiting over 40mins for Jack strips, salad, and burger is ridiculous!!! not sure if our server was having an off day or what, but where was management to help/assist their employees? Not sure if I will visit this location ever again.

Forced to eat here by family. The only great part was our friendly, efficient waiter. The hostess was rude. Food– what you might expect from a Friday’s, but just less of it. Chicken nachos had rubbery chicken cubes and barely anything else. Mashed potatoes were gummy. Steamed broccoli and my family’s various fried meat products looked OK. Ambience– I’d prefer if I never had to eat at another Friday’s /Chili’s /Applebee’s type place again…

I was suckered in here after work with the promise of happy hour. Naturally, I only chose off the happy hour menu, which is half-off appetizers from 3 – 7, excluding platters and seafood. Oh boy, if the appetizers are any indicator of what this place offers as entrees, then get out! Hahah, to be honest, this place offers more drinks and sports game does it offer food. We ordered the Spinach and Artichoke DIp; Sesame Chicken Strips; Fried Mozz Sticks; Pretzel Sticks with Dip; and BBQ Chicken Flatbread. The only one I liked was the Sesame Chicken Strips(which actually aren’t strips but nuggets). They were very sweet and sticky, and fried to the point where you couldn’t tell the chicken from the frying batter. Definitely gave me mad Chinese Sweet and Sour Chicken vibes. My party was digging the Pretzel Sticks. The sauce tastes like«clam chowder mixed with bacon» and the pretzel sticks are the size of baseball bats. The flatbread might as well been chewy cardboard. Everything else was so meh and findable at your local supermarket, you might as well buy everything there and host your own sports night. TGIYOH(thank god it’s your own house).

I would usually give a 3.5 for food and 4 – 5 for service. Tonight was a big big disappointment. We got there at 10pm and seated around 10:15 and ordered. Our food did not come out until 10:55. During that time, no one came to check on us. We had to constantly asked for status. Food was the worst tonight. Wings were so tiny and dry. Nachos, sliders, spinach dip, and other appetizers came out warm, not hot. Seems like it has been sitting out I think. The only dish came out hot was the fries, which was ordered after we got all our food. From the time we asked for the check till the time we got our change, was about 30mins turn around. Oh and they forgot our friend’s bday dessert they mentioned to bring out so many times. Not sure when I will be back again.

This review is specifically for Happy Hour & Customer Service. In order to get the happy hour specials on appetizers and drinks, whenever I come my servers always remind me that I have to be seated at the bar(or rather really close to the bar) so my suggestion is to always double-check with your server so you know what you’re going to pay for and what’s the haps. I came here with a fairly large party on a Friday night WITH a reservation, however, since the place seemed to be really busy and everyone wanted to get their happy hour on(like we wanted to and we planned ahead), we had to wait until enough space could be allotted. Perfectly understandable. However, one thing that did left me uneasy was the service. Our waitress was kind and everything, but she wasn’t as attentive. Understandably, it was a busy Friday night but it took extremely long for her to come and take our orders(she could’ve divided the tables into sections as many servers tend to do for the ease of the kitchen, making it easier for the check, etc.), but she didn’t. Our food, which let me tell you, was just sliders, nachos, wings, or fries or even chips/dip…took at least 45 minutes to get out of the kitchen. Not sure if that’s how long it takes, but okay. Also, she forget part of my order and double-charged me for it when I asked for it again, which was fine I mean I guess… because it’s a simple fix. However, it felt like it was one of those things that could have been easily avoided. Parking-wise, in order to get to this TGIF — you probably already guessed it, but you have to park in the structure. This structure typically charges guests to park, however, TGIFDOESVALIDATEPARKING. So that’s a definite plus. Not my favorite place for Happy Hour, but not a bad option if you’re up for it. If I had to be perfectly honest though? My happy hour heart wasn’t really wow’d or won over, I’m still down for Yardhouse over TGIF any day(even Friday)!

Not bad. Pretty standard American Restaurant and bar. Loses a star for limited healthy options. Love the giant drink menu! I almost want to buy it and take it home!(They do sell it but for now not worth $ 20). We usually enjoy some beers with the 2 for $ 20 deal. Limited menu items but you get an appetizer and 2 meals for 20 bucks. Not bad! I usually get the ‘healthiest’ option, Kung Pao chicken with veggies. The flat bread app is still our fave. Good happy hour but we never make it. One of these days we will!

Came in for a late dinner and drinks around 11 pm after a convention at the Westin I was staying at across the street. The service was terrible… I was sitting at the bar tables and the waiter only came by once to get a drink order. I asked 2 employees walking by if I could get a waiter to take our orders. Both said yeah hold on then walked away to never be seen again. Took 30 minutes to get someone to take my order and the restaurant wasn’t even near full. The taste of the food was subpar. I ordered the ribeye(?) steak and my girlfriend got a halfrack of ribs and fries. The steak came out decent, overcooked, some flavor. My girlfriends ribs were all bone with little meat that was dry and the fries were completely overcooked and tasted like stale grease sticks. We had to order her an entire new meal. The drinks were good and the bartenders ended up taking care of us in the end, but not soon enough to have us leave with a good experience.

I dont have a problem with Friday’s, I never had. Although most of the items if not all on the menu are full of calories. But what the heck its Friday right? No but seriously they have decent food here. I don’t come often but I used to when I worked right by here I would come on Fridays(no pun) to have lunch and beers. I came back for a visit recently before I headed over the Observatory. I was surprised to see the same awesome bartenders still working from when I used to go. Service at the bar is always fantastic. I was always happy with the servers and bartenders. I mean lets face it we all know what food Friday’s has on the table so service is where they really can shine. This place is tucked away and is often i feel like maybe a little over looked like other locations. But its a great place to pop in for some happy hour drinks. Plus they are offering all kinds of new shareable items that are pretty cheap. It is what it is and what it is, is decent. Ice cold beer and some food that is bad for yo! CHEERS!!!

Sunday is all day happy hour. Since I don’t drink, I cannot comment on how the drinks are but I did happen to order 3 different appetizers. First was the potato wedges. These used to be baked but are now fried. Unfortunately this means that it’s super unhealthy. My second item was the buffalo chicken wings! Wow! Definitely get this! Garlic and Parmesan suave. Yummy. Third was the chicken bites. These were good as well since it came with Jack Daniels sauce. Yummy. Total bill came out to $ 16.50. What a deal! I’ll be back!!! Oh fries are also 1.50 $ for a basket but why get those when you can spend anymore $ 3.50 and get a different appetizer.

The Unilocal Headline for 2 Stars is «Meh. I’ve experienced better.» That pretty much sums up TGI Friday’s. I went for happy hour with co-workers on a Monday early evening and they were certainly not close to packed. I arrived first and proceeded to try to get us a table for 10. I was told it would be 15 minutes or so as they were«slammed» and not expecting it on a Monday night and she flat out told me that they have less workers. HH prices for drinks are okay, but the bartender makes nothing exciting or interesting and my vodka tonic was not even full and frankly just not very good at all, and I got no lime, which I did ask for. They have a $ 10 all you can eat appetizer, that keeps on coming as long as you can can keep eating. We chose mozzarella sticks, chicken siracha potato skins and artichoke spinach dip, served with chips. Sadly, nothing stood out and the flavors were all just okay. The chips were not hot, the mozzarella sticks could have come from the big Costco box and somehow they made the potato skins very boring and bland in taste. I think perhaps for the next HH, I’ll have to suggest somewhere else.
