Second time I ate here in one day! Staying at the Holiday Inn next door, this place was perfect. Open late and super friendly staff. The food was great, too! Definitely recommend! Breakfast all day!!!

I’ve had a few items from Bella’s, all to-go since I can’t handle the smoke smell there from the adjacent casino. The pastries have been quite good. The muffins are large enough to share, but so tasty that you may not want to! The Blueberry Muffin has a generous serving of whole blueberries — excellent. The zucchini bread is quite good as well. The Banana Nut Muffin had plenty of bananas and walnuts, too. The Apple Feta Chicken Salad was a good concept with poor execution. The salad greens were mostly wilted Iceburg. The chicken pieces were too big. The tangerines tasted canned. The spiced pecans and dressing really helped it along. I think I’ll stick to the bakery. The Café menu items are quite pricey.

My parents frequent Bella’s on Friday nights when they’re craving chicken fried steak. After my father told me about the blueberry-filled pancakes he had at Bella’s for breakfast with a friend a week earlier, I had to try them for myself. One thing about me is certain: I don’t like the smell of smoke — this is why I don’t enjoy the interior of casinos. I have eaten at the Ameristar buffet many times and have never had an issue with the atmosphere’s scent. However, the first thing I noticed when we walked into Bella’s was the faint scent of smoke. Yuck. Smoke and food for me do not mix. Once I got past the smoke smell I was ready to enjoy their Blueberry Pancakes. For $ 7.49 they were a fair meal. The pancakes were not loaded with blueberries as my father had experienced, but that could be a difference in cooks. The pancakes were very fluffy and, quite honestly, cooked to perfection. Advice: If you don’t like smoke, don’t come here! The items on the menu, to me, are on the pricier side. But the pancakes were a fair deal. I’d come back… if my parents were paying.

Booked a great room at the holiday inn off of hotwire, but then made the great mistake if eating here. Completely incompetent service, all off the truck food, and over priced. Not inexpensive, but poor service, low caliber food, lots of staff moving around but none servicing the tables. This is a management problem. It has been some time since I have been to a more disappointing restaurant. I think our server might have been high or something, she had one table and couldnt manage even that. Examples: mother ordered a Ruben on swirled rye, she got a club. I ordered buffalo wings & a side salad, I got cold wings with a salad but no dressing, and with the salad a big slice of banana bread? My son did get his pot stickers and they where not terrible, but everything was the caliber of food that is simply reheated off a truck. By the time the server came back to check on the food, we were long done eating and she had the bill. She then said she would be back to take care of the tab, but then never returned. This is not difficult: 1. Seat customer, and if you are smart get a beverage order… maybe tell me what your specials are. 2. Bring beverage order and advise on appetizer or main course choices & questions. 3. Take orders. 4. Deliver appetizer or salad course, if non then main course. Check beverages… refills? Is this what you ordered? 5. Come back to insure food is to liking and as expected. 6. Refills? 7. Desert? Coffee? Ok, is ther anything else? 8. The bill. 9. Takle bill and return with change or card sign. 10. Thank you, thank you, thank you, please. This is not difficult, and these poor folks will never make any tips unless thie fools running this place are fired, the staff is trained, and the food is improved for quality and temperature. Don’t serve me when you are high! Do not waste your time or money on this nightmare. Upon leaving, some poor little girl the cash register asked me how I liked my meal. This after the server never did come back to take care of the check. I told her very polightly how it was, she offered a coupon for our next visit. Did we look mental? Next visit? What a joke. Duh!

This is seriously one of the worst dining experiences I have had in a long time. First off, the business model is terrible. It’s like Burger King or McDonalds as you wait in line to give a cashier your food order and pay immediately then go find your own seat, get your own drinks, and hunt down your own high chair. However, your food does not quickly and conveniently pop up on a line where you can go inspect and pick it up. You take a number back to your table and wait for your order to be cooked and then for a member of the wait staff to figure out where to take that order by hunting around looking for your number. Although the style and service reminded me of being at Burger King, the prices sure didn’t. I paid $ 7.99 for Philly Cheesesteak with no side of fries that was basically served on a hot dog bun(the manager claims this was a roll, but it is a far cry from the hearty hoagie that most restaurants that want you to enjoy the sandwich will use). Most of the time I can pick up a Philly and the hoagie will hold in the bulk of the sandwich so that I can eat it rather easily. I had to pick at this thing with a knife and a fork because there was nothing to hold the sandwich together. My wife ordered a chicken sandwich on flatbread, which was a good sandwich, but surprisingly this health conscious sandwich is severely undersized and served with a side of fries, once again for $ 6.99. She seriously left feeling like she had skipped a meal because she didn’t eat the fries as the point of ordering the sandwich was to make a healthier decision. Now my brother-in-law and his girlfriend came with us to eat, sat with us and ordered right behind us. When we ordered our food, we received number 36 for the wait staff to hunt down and serve, but they received number 97. I thought this a bit odd, but figured maybe the numbering didn’t really matter that much so long as the front desk and kitchen go in the order they dealt them out. However, it seems that the front desk may deal out these cards randomly, but the OCD kitchen and staff serve these strictly in order. They waited for about an hour before complaining and going back to the kitchen to see their orders already prepped, but sitting on the shelf. The wait staff did not even look to bring out order 97, until they had filled order 96, what a cruel joke from the front desk. Fortunately his complaining landed him a full refund after he demanded the refund as a resolution to his problem. I’m rather certain that the manager did not offer the refund, but grudgingly gave it to him at his insistence. When the manager came by, I asked if they always serve their Philly’s on a hot dog bun, and was informed that this was a «roll», sure could have fooled me. I bet the hot dog bun was just a roll too, until someone split it down the center and put a hot dog in it. This seriously reminded me of the Philly I had at the Sonic drive-in restaurant, except I paid half the price at Sonic and received a side of fries with the meal.
