Hy-Vee

My husband get his refills from here and has had some issues with timing and waiting a while.
I was there when he picked up his refill last time he went. The pharmacist was very helpful in answering questions. The pharmacy also stays open until 9 at night. This is very helpful.
They have no rewards program that I am aware of.

I’ve been coming to this Hy-​Vee Pharmacy for years, ever since I can remember and it’s a good pharmacy.
I love the location for me as its near a major interstate and close to my home. Also the fact that its in a full-​range grocery store definitely makes the trips to the Pharmacy worth it.
This past week I had a doctor’s appointment at a clinic very close to this Hy-​Vee and the doctor faxed them over my ‘scripts. I went to the Hy-​Vee Pharmacy and asked if they received the notice and they said yes and it would be about 20 minutes, which is fine because I understand that they are busy, but after over 45 minutes later, I finally received my meds. If I knew it was going to be that long, I would have just came back later that night.
And this isn’t the first time this has happened, a few other times I’ve waited over 30 minutes to fill other scripts. I’m not sure if this is honestly the norm for Pharmacy’s, but my wife goes to Target and they are always 15 minutes or less on getting her scripts.
This pharmacy has been good to me over the years, but if this continues to happen, I’ll be switching over my scripts to Target.
