The staff and feel of the place are great. That is what the difference in any drinking establishment. The staff is friendly, as are the other patrons. They have some interesting special events — look for them.
The wine selection is fairly extensive.
This is a place that has lead Downtown Covina ’ s positive change.

Great environment, GREAT MUSIC, and Great wine. Only one complaint the HEAT is UNBEARABLE even if your just sitting down enjoying a drink never mind if your are dancing. I was drenched in sweat! Dear owner please turn on the air conditioner!

This is a really cool little place! Music and wine? What more could a girl ask for? :) The vibe tonight is really up beat and the band they have playing is really cool they are playing everything from a mix of the 60s 70s and 80s. Really great atmosphere and there are A lot of ppl here so you know it’s a fun place. Lots of choices of different wines and drinks to choose from. I really enjoyed my time here.

So I’m not an expert with wine or beer whatsoever… but Galen, David and the gang at Azo Vino makes sure I don’t feel that way. They are always generous with their time, info, and their pours. Now that my wife and I are not the ‘club type’ anymore… Azo is a nice, peaceful change of pace… where you’ll always find good company, conversation, live music, and great craft beer and wine. PLUS, if you don’t have time to sit and enjoy a glass… you can make a pit stop and they’ll help you pick out the perfect bottle of wine. Thanks guys!

Did not know a place like this existed in Covina! The atmosphere is very chill. They had live music when I went in. The artists played instrumental versions of contemporary songs. And there’s a display of local art inside as well.
The wine section is good. And the prices are decent. They also have beers on draft for friends who aren’t fans of wine ;)
They don’t have food but they allow you to bring any food inside! There’s also a pizza place (see my tip on Red Devil Pizza) and a burger place right next door.

Best place in Covina to lounge with friends. Rachel is the hostess with the mostest!!!

Had a great with colleagues

My boyfriend and I are regulars here. Super chill wine bar with a diverse selection and knowledgable staff. They also have craft beer and a few mixed drinks. You can bring food in from the outside and Red Devil pizza (next door) will even deliver. Good seating options for small groups. Never crowded on weekdays and they often have deals on sample flights, check their website. They also have live music on weekends.

Five stars for the cleanest glassware! I’m not kidding! The only way to begin to enjoy a great glass of wine is in a sparkling, clean, beautiful crystal wine glass… make my day… or evening!
More often than not, when you are out to dine and/​or wine, if you lift that glass up to the light you will at the very least see dust from the cloth used to dry your glass. Many establishments don’t even take the time to towel dry, so instead your drinking from a spotty glass, sometimes still sporting Stacy’s newest spring colored pink lipstick from last night. ICK! Stacy should have invested in a 12 hour stay product!
Believe it or not, one time while at a local restaurant in a neighboring city, I observed a patron complain about the leftover lipstick on HIS newly poured glass of wine. The bartender took the glass, wiped off the lipstick and handed it back to him. I’m serious, I have witnesses!
Beyond the pretty glasses, there’s much more. So put on your spectacles and enjoy the art as you stroll around the rooms with your shiny glass in hand. You will find many creative options for that next party gift AND of course your newest addition to your own home. Be sure to take a bottle home with you too. The sommeliers can help you select the perfect bottles for your next wine adventure.

I been to Azo Wine bar a few times, love the atmospere. They have live music on Saturdays. If you hungry they a cheese and crackers with fruit plate. If your really hungry you can bring food from any place and bring it in and enjoy it with your your wine or beer and some great music. It a very nice place to go on a Friday or Saturday night.

I love the wonderful live music on Friday and Saturday nights as well as the super friendly bartenders. I do not suggest their vodka drinks because they taste weak and weird. However, their wine choices are vast if you are into that. I would describe AzoVino as more of a very large wine bar but not a gallery because the things on display are not so artsy in my humble opinion (some vases and decorated wine glasses). Crowd is older and chill.

Not your typical bar. this is a true gem and one of a kind place. The ambiance is mellow and casual. They have a great selection of Wine and descent beer selection. When you’re here you feel at home. There are couches and artistic blown glass pieces. They have a live band on weekends. The crowd on the night I was there (on a Sat night) was more mature (like 45+) but the fun kind. People were dancing and having a good time.

This is a very friendly, warm, and home-​like environment. I came here randomly with a friend with absolutely no clue what it was. The service was great with a friendly staff. I am not familiar with wine myself, so I asked for some recommendations and I was even given a few samples. I found a wine that I enjoyed, and for a good price too!
It was a bit of an older crowd but the place is great! They even had grapes with cheese and crackers around for people to enjoy. There was also a person singing some classic tunes — chaka khan.
In the back, there was pizza, which made it even 5x better because I LOVE pizza! Definitely recommend for a date or maybe a couples group date. It has that vibe.

I’ve come here a couple of times for their beer tasting events, which are usually on the last Wednesday of the month. That night they’ll showcase a brewery with a flight.
The burgers were okay. They’re just burgers they’ve grilled out back, with the fixings, and some chips. There’s also a pizza place next door. I saw a few people get pizza from them.
The place itself is fairly large, and has plenty of seating. I was surprised to see how packed the place gets.
On beer tasting days they still have some beers on tap in addition to the wines that they always have.
It really is a little gem of place right off the main strip.

Super happy I’ve finally found a place that reminds me of home! I’m in the wine industry; and live in northern ca. Wine bars are usually a dime a dozen… But not AzoVino! Great service. The tall guy that was behind the wine bar was on point!!! So funny, informative and made us want to come back the very next day. The first time I had been in, I found a cab that was from my hometown of Lodi, ca. Earthquake cab from Michael & David winery. Unfortunately they don’t have it anymore– but this last visit the guy recommended a 2011(?) –Cabernet from Summer’s Vineyards. I was impressed! He served it to us in a beautiful decanter. Later on, as we were walking out– we noticed that a live band was setting up! Next time we will be staying for the music! Going back tonight!

Great little Wine Bar. This place is awesome. Owner is very cool guy and his staff are phenomenal.
They have a great selection of wines and craft beers that you will definitely love. The folks behind the bar are really good at recommending selections.
They also are really cool and let you bring food in if you want.
Prices are in line with a place like this, not inexpensive but if you take to go you get a nice discount.
You are going here for ambiance and a great little wine bar. Know that, understand that and you will thoroughly enjoy your time here. We go back, ALL the time. Weekends they sometimes have really cool little bands.

Azo Vino has a great selection of wines and craft beers… Wait, did I say great… They have an amazing selection of craft beers and wines!!! It’s a wonderful place to hang and try different wines and you can even order a pizza from Red Devil next door and have it delivered right to your table at Azo Vino!!!
Galen is a great host and the live music on the weekends is outstanding! Don’t drink and drive… but enjoy responsibly and have a great time at Azo Vino!!! Did I tell you that they have a great selection of hand blown glass balls from amazing artisans… Do you need any more reasons to go???
