Im usually the person that does my friends hair and makeup so I am very picky when it comes to someone else doing mine !
First time I had my hair and makeup done by Virginia was at my brothers wedding. I am a very specific when it comes to how I want my hair and makeup and Virginia did exactly the way I wanted it. This weekend I had to attend yet another wedding, once again I had a specific hair and makeup in mind which she once again did it exactly the way I wanted it. My hair and makeup lasted all night long !! Thank you

Virginia did a great job. She is fun to work with and easy to talk to. I feel like she really got the look I was going for. She seems to really enjoy her job.
She was willing to drive to Simi Valley to meet with me. I had a really hard time finding a Simi Valley makeup artist and I feel so lucky that I was able to find her just before my wedding.
I also appreciate that she was able to meet with me at an early time (5:30 am) and that she was on time. This took a lot of stress off my wedding day.

Virginia did a awesome job she did me up for my engagement photos and wedding also did up some of my bridal party and mother inlaw we loved her work very much she does a great job, Virginia will travel to your location which made it very convenient for me and my bridal party! Thxs V !

I was looking for make-​up artists for my wedding day, and one of Virginia’s colleagues recommended her to me. Virginia was extremely quick in replying to all my emails. She did both my hair and make-​up a few weeks before the wedding. She really takes the time to ask questions to find out what you really like. She’s also very good at guiding people like me who don’t know much about hair and make-​up. She did such a great job. Everyone loved my braided up-​do and my natural-​looking make-​up. Do not hesitate to hire her!

Virginia’s work is absolutely stunning! She saw my vision for several photoshoots on make up & hair and made it come to life! She blew me away! I found Virginia after a friend referred her to me after a horrible makeup trial with another artist. I am from out of town, so I had to stay a few extra days to find a new artist. I contacted 5 makeup artists and she was extremely quick to respond to my email. I had such a bad taste in my mouth with my previous experience, but I trust my friend who referred her and Virginia did not disappoint. I love that she comes to you, which is really convenient when you are from out of town with no car. We were scheduled for a two and a half hour appointment, but she ended up staying for four hours. She really listened to my needs and concerns and she addressed each of them. She made me feel completely at ease and confident knowing that she knew my «must haves». Her makeup application skills are top notch and so are the products and tools she uses. She uses all prestige quality products and I was pleased to see how sanitary she keeps everything. She custom made the lip color she used on me, which I loved because I always have a hard time finding the perfect shade for my skin tone. I was impressed with her work when I looked in the mirror. She gave me just what I wanted with my makeup and most importantly, it photographed beautifully. I even wore it the rest of the day to see how it would wear on the day of my wedding. It stayed put and never broke up.
I had a bunch of ideas for my hair, too. We started off with one style, changed it up a bit to incorporate more detail. She ended up creating three updo’s on me. She’s great at managing your expectations when it comes to your hair and makeup. If you show her a picture, she’ll tell you «Yes that’s doable and it’ll look good on you» or «No, that won’t work on you because…»
This was just our trial, but I am so excited to see her again and watch her work her magic on me and my wedding party. Virginia’s passion for what she does is infectious and she is such a joy to work with. I would recommend her to anyone in the LA/​OC/​SD area looking for a hair and makeup artist for your special day.

We had our wedding at The Ritz Carlton Marina Del Rey, CA in 2014. I modeled in the past and my wife is a model/​actress so we have a plethora of make-​up artists in my contacts but this day was beyond special so it had to be perfect. I had to look perfect and Virginia is the only one I would trust to that. Her professionalism and personality are the topping on the elite cake! The experience was amazing to the point of hiring Virginia for any red carpet events or entertainment functions that we attend. I would not trust such an important day to anyone else and I am an A type perfectionist in business and in my personal life. If you want to have people RAVE about your makeup, then I can only recommend Virginia!!!
