Moving from another state, I had used the same eye doctor for many, many years. I called to get information about my insurance and spoke to Caitlyn in the office. She was so helpful and professional, getting me right in to see Dr. Hollenbeck that very morning. The doctor not only spent time explaining everything to me, but he also was able to do what I needed a Glaucoma Specialist for before. Needless to say, I feel very fortunate to have found them, and their glasses selections were enormous. Caitlyn also helped me pick out 3 pair that I needed. The doctor and the entire staff is highly recommended by me.

The doctor intuitively figured out I was able to focus through many adjacent lens options throughout the exam. Once he realized what was going on, his instruction for me to relax and just go with my initial reaction resulted in a more accurate and true prescription.
The office staff were very helpful and knowledgeable about the frames and lenses they offer. The frame selection is only a little smaller compared to some places I’ve been to, but I’m sure you’ll find something that works for you.
Received my new glasses and have to say they feel like my new super power. The prescription was spot on, and the lenses get very dark in sunlight.

I hadn’t had my eyes checked since moving to WA four years ago. The office staff was super friendly and extremely organized. Follow up reminders for my appointment were great and not too frequent. I was a bit disappointed in the selection of eye frames, but that worked out ok because my vision hadn’t changed enough to warrant new glasses. The Dr was caring and professional and I left feeling like I could call them with even minor questions and be well received. Great experience!

This is probably the best eye care clinic I have ever been to. It is very neat and organized in the lobby/​eyewear area. The ladies behind the reception desk were very nice, very patient when I called and asked for directions. The doc was very nice and thorough as well. He explained each step of the eye exam and even showed me what the back of my eye looked like.
April was great at helping me choose my glasses. She picjed out some great frames for me to try on. She waited until I made my decision and then she went over what my insurance covered and figured out what would be the best.

So nice and friendly, I would recommend going here. All the staff if very friendly. They have very cute glasses here too.

Needed a new eye doc since I recently moved to the area. Scheduled an appointment for me and my son, and the experience was great. Dr. Hollenbeck is very friendly, takes the time to get to know and understand your vision issues, and does a great job of explaining what’s going on with your eyes. I highly suggest Advanced Eye Care of Covington if you’re interested in care, rather than a quick sales experience.

Advanced Eye Care in Covington is excellent. I was fitted with amazing bifocal contacts. My son got new glasses and my daughter didn’t need glasses for a prescription but the Dr. identified that she’d benefit from magnifiers for her online schooling to prevent strain.

Would have been 5 stars but took a star off because as a new client just trying to book my annual exam it took 3 phone calls before they finally scheduled me. They kept needing to call me back because they said their phones were busy. Not a professional first impression but they’re close to work and had good reviews so I agreed. Had they not scheduled me by that 3^rd phone call I would have moved on. As for my appointment with the doctor it was outstanding. He was great. Very friendly and personable but most importantly professional. Most thorough eye exam I’ve ever had. I finally understood every issue going on with my eyes and had some concerns put to rest. AND the dreaded eye pressure test didn’t involve that terrifying puff of air. Bravo! Doctor and exam gets 5 stars. Scheduling for first time client gets 2 (they were at least very nice).

Extremely happy with the care and service from Advance Eye Care of Covington. We moved to the area recently and after several years of wrong prescriptions and continued issues with my contacts, one visit and the dr corrected everything with a new prescription and different type of contacts. Continued headaches .and eyestrain cured… that quickly. The staff is very friendly, this is a wonderful business and I would highly recommend.

I had a great visit and was treated so respectfully compared to the last eye office in Covington. I am so thankful they were able to get me into the Dr. the same day as I called. I am looking forward to the arrival of my new glasses in the next week or so. No pressure and really friendly staff.
