Breakfast Cove

Great food and great service. I had driven by this a hundred times, and finally decided to stop. Best breakfast that I have ever had away from home.

Great small place to eat. They offer «mini breakfast» which is ideal for a small quick breakfast. I ordered the two eggs and toast. Requested the eggs poached and this was the first time I have had my eggs properly poached! IHOP couldn’t even do that!

Hooray for The Breakfast Cove and their delicious coffee. There are not many choices between Millington, TN AND Ripley on Highway 51 for good coffee. Yeah, yeah, yeah there’s a couple McDonalds and supposedly a Starbucks but I don’t drink their crappy mud burnt offerings. The Breakfast Cove saved me. Breakfast was pretty standard, no frills but just fine. This would be a safe choice!

The Breakfast Cove isn’t the first place you’d choose. It’s attached to a gas station and while it may be right off the interstate, it is away from the other restaurants and doesn’t stand out. The inside is plain, I’ve been in better environments, and it could use more decoration. But what lacks in apperance, makes up in food. I’ve only had one dish so far (I do plan on going back) and it was the chicken taco salad.
Wonderful portion size. Great flavor, nice and juicy with good salsa. The service was good; quick and nice, food came out fast (granted, we were the only ones there). I would recommend this place to anyone, if you are craving breakfast or Mexican food. I am looking forward to returning here.

Service was fast and good and the food was great. We will definitely be back.
I got the country fries steak breakfast and it was more than I could eat but it was yummy and they gave me a to go box. :)

The Breakfast Cove presents itself as a typical good ol’ American Diner – which it is – but besides offering classic favorites like pancakes and eggs (which are delicious), the folks here ALSO offer quite a few excellent Mexican-​inspired dishes as well. Whatever direction you choose, you won’t go wrong.
The people are friendly, the service is good, and the food is delicious. I’d highly recommend.
