This place is a dive bar at best. I came in the afternoon to enjoy a few libations. All the spots at the bar where taken with people preparing for a UK game in 5 hours… Yes the prime spots had been claimed and people were already talking about camping out till «the game». We played a few rounds of dart and also they have a nice shuffle board table. The bar isn’t used to keeping much craft beer on hand because after 6 total Two Hearted Ale’s the bartender told us she was out and recommended draft. I didn’t mind the atmosphere, but quickly remembered the luxury of bars being no smoking. We dinner reservation that evening and I had to take a shower beforehand to get the pungent smell out. Cheap beer, no food options, lots of TV’s and bar games… may return but make sure to wear clothes you can burn afterwards.

Great little bar with cheap prices. They’ve really stepped up their game in the last couple of years. They allow smoking which may be a plus or a minus for some, but you can’t beat the prices. Great place for a drink after work.

Still cheap drinks and great company. Now they have daily drinks specials, have added a few more tvs, and now accept credit cards as opposed to the other method of getting a receipt at the ATM thing on the wall. In addition there is a cool new bar game they acquired, something akin to bar curling.
Still one of the best places to grab a casual, cheap drink. Didn’t think they could improve but they found a way how.

Fort Mitchell, KY
The classic neighborhood bar I have spent many a night here with good friends and strangers that have become friends. I would say the only reason I go here is because it is close to my apartment but that is not the case. The owners and staff are great friendly people who take the time to get to know you. The prices are the best around with a mixed drink at about $ 3.50. Recently they underwent a bit of an overhaul with a credit card machine and a shuffleboard game. Nightly drink specials keep you coming back.

Lakeside Park, KY
Currently under renovation due to increased competition in the area. Hopefully, they wont raise there drink prices because of the updated décor. The cheap drinks were the primary reason locals come here. Good bar to end up at for the last hour or so of the night. Walking distance for me. Even walking though, I have been «pulled over» by Mr. Policeman so be careful leaving if you’ve had a few.
