Lowe’s Home Improvement

I shop at Lowe’s a lot. Their sales prices are hard to beat so I watch for deals and then buy whatever I need in bulk. They don’t always have everything I need but the vast majority of home needs can be found here.

First Commonwelth Bank is a wonderful bank to work with! They’re always so friendly, so nice & the ease of cashing & depositing any checks is wonderful. They never give a problem when it comes to withdrawals out of my checking & saving accounts. I enjoy the fact that every month I get a little bit of interest put into my savings account to help add just a little bit

Service is always excellent! We never have a problem finding an employee to answer a question, help locate a product, or recommend a specific brand.

We purchased our high end washer dryer and above the stove microwave oven at Lowe’s.And to be honest I am extremely happy with everything about Lowe’s.From their sales, delivery, & warranty. To follow up phone calls rating our satisfaction. We have been pleased with everything about Lowe’s.We will definitely be using them for everything in the future. We are going to use Lowe’s to instal brand new wall to wall carpet and padding in our entire house.
It is so nice to find such an amazing store like Lowe’s.I cannot express to you how happy we are. Thank you to the the entire team at Lowe’s.I recommend you to all my friends and family. So with all that being said, I am giving the store five stars.

I have been going to Lowe’s probably an average of 2x weekly for a decade. This Lowe’s maintains all national chain standards, and with only a couple of discountable exceptions, staff and service have been excellent. Today, shopped in 5 different areas for miscellaneous project materials — each encounter was excellent. I probably should just have my paycheck deposited to a Lowe’s account directly. It would reduce my labor overhead in paying them about the same amount every month.

Eventhough I had a bad experience with my online order/​store pick-​up. I would like to commend and add a star for the associate, Ron, I think that’s his name. He’s an older gentleman. He was very helpful and went out of his way to help us construct a drain adapter for our hot tub. It was very much appreciated. Thank you, Ron! Otherwise, goodluck finding anyone to help you here. You have to go and find them esp. when it’s past 6pm. One of the workers told us that they are understaffed.

I’m slightly ashamed to admit how many of our Friday & Saturday night date nights have included a visit to our local Lowes but we’ve found so many incredible deals on closeout appliances sitting in the middle of the aisles during those treks that we made it a regular habit for quite a while. Our daughter used to join us as we helped her rehab 2 houses.
This store is clean, well organized and the staff has always been super helpful. One day I stopped in there and 8 different associates asked if they could help me. I started counting after #3 offered, then I kept giggling as it continued. I think I had a conversation with almost all of them, too. Obviously none of us were having a super busy day but its always easy to find a helper when you do need one.
When I was searching for the right kitchen backsplash, I bought and returned so many samples I was actually amazed how easy & no questions asked they made it.
I love knowing that whatever I need, I can pop into Lowes in less than 10 minutes & I’ll find it and its always at a price that’s competitive with everyone (including Walmart). Yep, 5 stars!

I spend entirely too much time at Lowes. Unfortunately, this fun house is located much too close to my office. So, after work, when I should be rushing home to clean the house or bake some yummy treats for BJ, I am more likely to be wandering the aisles of Lowes. Looking at interesting items such as house plants, new kitchen drawer pulls, lamps, organizational tools and carpet. There is a good reason for this. I dream of the perfect house.
Some of my most recent purchases have been appliances. Yes, Julie D. has jumped on the stainless steel band wagon. And I could not be more happy with the service I received at Lowes. In true Julie D. fashion, I have been purchasing my appliances one at a time. I know, that’s a little crazy. But I didn’t want to become over whelmed with a truck load arriving the same day. First up was my microwave. My installer contacted me a week early, was very flexible with an install time and did a great job. Convection oven was up next, BJ had moved the old oven out into the entry way and removed the electrical wiring from it (it was needed on the new oven). The delivery guys were right on time, very professional, reinstalled the wiring and carefully put my oven in place, treating it like my new baby. No unsightly fingerprints anywhere! Just this week, it was dishwasher time. This outsourced installer was not so prompt, but I will not hold that against Lowes because they hire contractors. And apparently, good plumbers are hard to find. The perfect fridge is up next. It’s amazing what new appliances have done for the look and feel of my kitchen. It’s no longer tired and ugly looking.
Be sure to search the Internet for pricing on whatever you are purchasing. Lowes price matches. I was able to get my dishwasher at HHGregg pricing minus 10% because it was an in stock item. Plus, since I was using my Lowes credit card, I was able to pick from 18 month 0% financing or 5% off the purchase price. No one can beat Lowes prices.
Another tip when buying appliances here: check the Internet for pricing or ask a salesman. Sometimes, they don’t have the sale signs up-​to-​date in the store, so you might not know that your dream convection oven priced $ 949 is marked down to $ 599, unless you ask.
Another thing that surprised me, was how hospitable the employees are here. It took a bit of extra effort for our sales rep to get the price adjusted for the dishwasher. But he was patient and got that taken care of for us. Also, when I was paying for my purchases at the service counter, an employees or two from other departments walking by inquired about what I was purchasing. And much to my surprise, they both thanked me for being a Lowes customer. A little kindness goes a long way. I feel really good about spending my money here.

Lori in customer service needs a major attitude adjustment… So much of one, that you are better off going to a different location… this is my tip. If you are not happy being in customer service, you should not be in customer service.
Despite some people here being helpful, my experience with a return made me never want to return to this location. I will probably stick with the Waterfront or Robinson or the Home Depot nearby.

Great place. People are friendly and the management staff always take care of the customers. Very knowledgable staff and are willing to assist you. I will always be a Lowe’s customer!

This is our main stop for our home improvement needs. The employees are sometimes helpful, sometimes not. Some will walk you to the product you’re lookin for and others will just point you in the direction. We had one key made copied here that didn’t ever work properly. They were willing enough to replace it. We purchased our Christmas tree here a few weeks ago and its still living, but I had to cut off a bunch of the base that had sealed itself up from sitting in the lot.
That’s about all one can say about Lowes, I think.

I am a fan of Home Depot. Glad I got that off my chest. Moving on: I love the bargains here. I love the mistint paints, I love the curtains that I got 90 percent off. I love the staff. On one instance I had an employee chase me down just to tell me how much they like something I sold them at my store and they wanted to return the good service to me and help me. Wow.

You wanna find me on a Saturday or Sunday? You’ll find me right in the aisles of Lowes. My regular Saturday routine includes picking up whatever item (s) the old place needs to spruce it up.
Their Valspar paint is on all my walls… and sometimes my floors, unfortunately. All the appliances in the kitchen and laundry room — Lowes. And I love the fact they deliver the new stuff and get rid of my old ones for no charge. Yay.
My beloved pond? The shell, pumps and filter — Lowes. The arbor and rose bushes leading up to the pond — Lowes. The smoker we play with all weekend — Lowes. The gas grill — Lowes.
Not only is the outside a virtual Lowes advertisement, so is the inside. They redid my kitchen floors — love the Pergo! The countertops, too. New bathroom fixtures, installed with expertise, make me smile every time I turn the lights on in there. Even the wall-​to-​wall carpeting throughout the house — of course it all came from Lowes.
Come to think of it, maybe I should spend a little less time shopping here and more time at home just enjoying everything we’ve done!
