Terrible coffee. As a passenger in the car, I complained that my husband’s medium black coffee smelled strongly of overpowering coffee grounds. He said it was horrible. At least it was hot.

This place hit the spot. I popped into Rumors and to Camp 4 Coffee, only to leave because they were way too crowded and noisy. I was looking for a laid-back coffee spot to get some work done. I was happy to see a menu of way more than coffee when I walked into Daily Dose. I wound up ordering a Vampire juice first(carrot, lemon, beets, orange, garlic — delicious and invigorating!), thanks to the help of Joy, who is the super friendly barista who obviously loves meeting both locals and visitors. There was mellow music playing, but it was low so I could make work calls without worrying about too much background noise. After my juice, I eventually had a vegan spring roll, a soy latte, and some gluten-free pumpkin muffins. Everything was so good. I’m rooting for this joint– I think they’re really nailing it.

Great spot for a quick bite! Or to hang out. Also really good prices for a ski town. Grab a sandwich or breakfast burrito for day on the mountain skiing or biking. They also have great smoothies and coffees. They have different homemade baked goods. lots of clean and organic products. options for vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, paleo, meatarians etc. Haven’t had it but lots of people love their frozen yogurt. Awesome stop for breakfast or lunch or after a long day of skiing or to grab a cold drink after a bike! And the Owner is so nice and accommodating.

I’ve stumbled in twice now, worn out from skiing, and Gretchen, the owner, has made me the perfect green smoothies to fix me right up. I’ve also had her homemade mushroom soup with a coconut base – delicious! The food is outstanding, the décor is cozy and uplifting, the staff is friendly – what more could you want? Highly recommend!

This business is new but I’m already a fan. The owner Gretchen makes you feel at home and is still trying to feel out her costumer base. I had some vegan spring rolls(with local microgreens) and an Earl Grey tea, and my boyfriend had a roast beef sandwich and a IBC root beer. If if wasn’t so cold, we would have ordered smoothies. Overall, I think this town needs more relaxed healthy internet café kind of places — it’s just the right size to sit and hang out and listen to locals gab. I gave this place 3 stars for now — it still has a lot of improvements that could be made. A Daily Dose is vegetarian and gluten-free friendly, but the vegan options are limited to the spring rolls and smoothies — I’d suggest they get some almond or soy milk and maybe a tempeh sandwich :) Given the open-mindedness of the owner, I’m sure this place will be 4 or 5 stars soon.
