I got my wedding dress altered here. Alex paid such great attention to detail. I picked up my wedding dress and it fit perfectly. I had such a great experience and would recommend Alex for anyone getting their wedding dress altered.

RUINEDMYWEDDINGDRESS!!! My mom gave me her wedding dress to alter for my «big day». I made a list of suggestions, and started looking for a tailor. This place was close to home, and on first impression Alex, and his wife, were very sweet and accommodating. He told he he shouldn’t have a problem making the alterations I had requested. I left my dress with this man with complete faith that it was in good hands. On my first fitting, he had taken it upon himself to add a V neck where there had once been a lovely boat neck, and the cuts weren’t even straight. I now had to compromise my vision of my wedding dress because he thought this«looked nice.» I told him I absolutely hated it. That is wasn’t what I wanted, and we hadn’t discussed this change. I asked him to now make it strapless with a sweetheart neckline, or to exaggerate the V neck, making it wider. He said he would do his best to make it work. I went back for my second fitting, and all he had done was finish the original neckline he had created. I refused to put on the dress, and told him it wasn’t what I wanted. He asked me what I wanted, and I told him, again. We went in a circle like that for a bit, until he hung my dress back up in his workshop, threw his hands up in the air, and exclaimed that he quit. He asked me to leave and told me to do what I needed to do. As I was leaving, in tears, a customer was coming in. I can only assume that Alex was talking badly about me to this customer because he watched me walk to my car through the front windows. This is the worst possible situation to have happened. And leaves me a week to now find a new dress. What should have been a happy moment has left me heart broken. UPDATE: I had gone back with my fiancé to pick up my dress in order to take it to a different tailor. He refused, unless I paid the $ 300 for unauthorized alterations, and proceeded to call the police on me. I was married on June 20th, in a different dress. To the best of my knowledge, he still has my dress.

Horrible horrible horrible!!! Do not bring your gowns here. Tried to charge me $ 150 for a hem and it was uneven, they wouldn’t even steam it, and the dress fit horrible. Horrible service and ridiculous pricing. DONOTGOHERE.

I took a brand new suit that I picked up at Carsons to Alex the Tailor. It turned out quite well. He took his time and made sure it fit properly, then did a great job fixiing it up. In the past I have taked a number of items to him for repair and he has always done a good job. They also operate a drycleaning operation. I was suprised to hear that others have had service challenges. I am pretty picky about the way my shirts are starched and pressed for business purposes. They always come back the way I ask for them. No problems. I definitely plan to return.

WOW… TERRIBLECUSTOMERSERVICE… the 1st time I brought my work shirts to be pressed I instructed to crease the sleeves, but no that didn’t happen so I did it myself when I got home. 2nd time I asked again for heavy starch and please crease the sleeves.nope. instruction were on each shirt, but was never done. So I went to the cleaners with the 4 shirts and was quit upset, since I had to drive back there and show the shabby pressing and poor work, leaving extra permanant creases on the shoulder. The old man, who I assume is Alex, was rude and extremely arrogant. I showed him the errors on the shirts and asked for a refund of my $ 6.40. He said he doesn’t do refunds but will redo the shirts. I asked why he let these shirts go out like this and his answer is,“I don’t press the shirts” OK then who does and don’t you care about customer satisfaction? Not at all, he told me to leave and he was done discussing. I DIDNOTWANTHIMTOTOUCHMYSHIRTSAGAINASKINGFOR A REFUND. he said for me to leave. You would think that using a nicer technique to keep customers would be smarter. But no, being rude and abrasive is his method. TERRIBLECUSTOMERSERVICE
