I moved to Creswell about 8 months ago. I purchased a fixer upper and spend a lot of time in a hardware store. I am a fan of this store. Eutha and Scott are extremely friendly and helpful. I believe that Shawn D.‘s feelings and comments were tainted by one experience where owners had to react to a situation at that time. I have not experience having to leave my bag up front for fear of stealing. The prices are fairly competitive and they will provide you a discount for larger purchase if you have them provide a quote. This is definitely my local hardware store!

I have been a regular of this once charming and quant local hardware store and I cannot count how many intimate conversations I have had with some of the staff throughout the years. Recently when I went in there I was completely affronted when one of the ladies (who knows me very well) said «you will need to leave your bag with me» and after giving her a perplexed look I said «really». She then said «these are not my rules» and promptly took my small satchel which is often called a «man purse». I found the entire experience to be criminalizing, and it belittled my sense of loyalty that I nurtured for that store. The most shocking revelation is that I have spent the better part of a decade frequenting that establishment and they equated me with the status of petty thief. This is not how you treat your regular customers and as a result I have sworn off my allegiance to this once great hardware store. I always overlooked their high prices, but with Jerry’s just 25 minutes away I cannot recommend them to anyone.
