I always come here first when my family is in need of shoes. You can usually find a good deal(BOGO) or at least get a coupon from online. I usually have no problems with this location, but have been very turned off due to my last visit last week. I bought two pairs of shoes here, one for me and one for my daughter. There was only one woman working, running the store on her own. We were never welcomed, or asked if we needed any help(which is ALWAYS asked!). She was stocking shoes in the same isle that we were shopping in. Literally, not a word was said to us. My 5YO daughter kept trying to make conversation with her, as she is very outgoing and was excited that she was able to pick out a pair of shoes and there was no response. At one point we were asked to move(we had to stand up, move all of our stuff and 3 or 4 boxes of shoes out of the way) so she could get her cart of shoes she was stocking past us. I would normally not have any problem doing this whatsoever but we were not asked nicely or got a «thank you!» I would have even settled for a smile at this point. After we found the shoes we wanted to purchase, we walked up to the front desk to check out. We walked right past the woman working so she knew we were ready to check out. When we got to the front desk there was already another customer waiting to pay. We both stood there for a long time waiting to get helped. Even during the checkout process, we still didn’t get any kind of customer service, let alone friendliness. Now, I understand that people have bad days. And I’m not one who usually seeks help/service when shopping… But it’s very obvious to me when businesses are severely lacking customer service. I may just think twice next time about shopping here. It’s so sad when one experience just ruins it for you, ya know?
