As I was attempting to downshift approaching a stoplight, my toe was unable to locate the shifter lever. I looked down and the lever was hanging way down below my foot peg. Thinking I had snapped a cable, I limped the bike in 4th gear to the nearest repair shop. After I got off the bike, I saw that the bolt that holds the lever in place had simply vibrated out. The gentleman running the shop came out and took care of it promptly, refusing payment after the fix was complete. He had me up and running within 5 minutes, all while being friendly in the process. Highly recommended.

Still five stars– just wanted to comment on the great deal they have for winter storage. That 13 year old bike needs to be pampered and they took great care of it and picked it up in the fall so I could ride to the last day. In exchange for storage I had to spend 200 bucks, so I picked up some service products and a new helmet and didn’t have to squeeze the car in next to the bike all winter.

I stopped in for a second time today and I can’t tell you how nice of a place this is. Welcoming, knowledgeable people who will tell it to you straight. They serviced my bike at the end of the season last year and helped me out with top notch products today. Tons of cool stuff for your bike here.

Great little place! They just opened last season but already the place is full of parts, bikes and gear. Got my bike serviced for this season, really excellent service and Dave was great to work with. Waiting room is bad-​a with a couple of TVs and a PS3. Bit of a ride from Chicago but well worth the trip. Definitely found my new «local» shop!
