Dretzka’s Department Store

This is the type of place that shouldn’t exist anymore, not because they don’t deserve to, but rather because customers flocking to the Walmarts and malls of the world have put places like this under.
This is the place for a classic shopping experience, right in the heart of Cudahy. Behind a thick mask of scented oil, there’s a stock of about everything you could need: clothing, shoes, housewares, stationary, furniture, you-​name-​it. It’s the beautiful kind of department store that has it all. A lot of the inventory has aged into being vintage (but still new with tags), a chunk is used, and some is new new.
Credit cards accepted for larger purchases, they call for authorization by landline. Thank you Dretzka’s for hanging in there, and thank you Cudahy for supporting it.
