Pierre is the man. He pays attention to detail and treats you like family. I would def recommend this place. It’s definitely a relaxing environment where you do not just feel like you are getting a quick cut and on to the next customer. I have gone 3 months in a row and I will be buying their membership package next time!

Pierre is consummate professional! I was greeted at the door with a refreshing beer, and loved the spa treatment. I have been coming for months now and love it! You should check this place out and ask for Pierre!!!

I was pretty pleased with the whole experience at this salon. I was hesitant at first seeing that the prices were a little bit more expensive than your average barber shop and/​or franchise chains; however I decided to give them a try seeing that my previous barber was out sick. To my surprise the front desk person was pleasant and my stylist, Natalie, was very professional. She took her time, and was very detailed when it came down to cutting my hair the way I wanted it. She knew how make the adjustments right when I asked her. Overall, I was very happy and at the end I left with a very good cut. To others whom might be on the fence, I would say this… try them out you won’t be disappointed!

Had looked at coming in 2 – 3 times previously, but was just never open when I got off work. Only thing I’d change is to ask for longer hours on weekdays.

Good place for a hair cut. It is a little far from my house, but I heard it opened up so I went to check it out. I went to Dimas and he was very good. Since it was my first time there, they included the executive cut, so I got my nose hairs waxed as well as other additional services. It was overall a great experience and I had a good hair cut. I just wish it was closer to my house so it was not out of the way. If you live close by, I would go to Dimas.

I was a little skeptical about getting my haircut here because it is more expensive than what I usually get, but the experience and service is well worth it and I find myself keep coming back. Dimas does an excellent job and gave me a haircut style I really like when I didn’t really know what I wanted. If you’re a guy and not really sure what you want, give this place a try. Dimas is great at what he does and is a really cool guy. You can also have a beer while you get your haircut as part of the service! Give it a shot. You won’t regret it.

My boyfriend went to Dimas for the Executive Shave Package (style haircut/​classic shave). We are both extremely satisfied with the results and overall experience.
Wonderful staff and relaxing atmosphere, enjoyed the beverage offered upon arrival as well.

For Valentine’s Day I purchased a gift certificate for my fiancé. It was my turn to pamper him a little. The place is very clean, nicely decorated, located in the heart of culver city. When we walked in they offered us espressos, the front desk customer service was amazing. We didn’t have to wait, the hairdresser– Gloria was ready for his appointment. My fiancé loved his haircut and he has been looking for a place for awhile to get his regular cuts and he finally found her at ¹⁸⁄₈.

Definitely one of the most positive haircut experiences I’ve ever had! Definitely ask for Gloria! Can’t complain about friendly service and having a nice cold beer to drink as you get cleaned up. I would recommend this place to anyone!

This place is a very nice atmosphere and good environment to cut you hair or shave or have a complete work done including nail and pedicure very reasonable prices. Try once and you never go somewhere else.

Went in for the first time and have to say I was very impressed. Staff is very attentive and courtious. Beer as well as other beverages offered while you wait. Going in make sure you ask for Gloria. Fantastic. ¹⁸⁄₈ is a great place. Not many places offer a beer when you walk in. Very tidy and clean.
Hair cut by Gloria. She is amazing. She has been cutting my hair for over a year now. She does such a good job that is why I keep on going back to her. She has a huge amount of experience and always does a great job. Thoroughly recommend this place and ask for Gloria. Always greeted with a smile and easy to chat to. Thanks Gloria (again!).

I first want to say that I am very picky when it comes to who cuts my hair. I’ve had a handful of bad barbers in the past and I was looking forward to one that was consistent, friendly, and professional.
I have now found my favorite go-​to barber and that is Ms. Gloria! This place was extremely clean and the staff were very friendly and professional. Gloria is by far the best barber I have ever had and will continue going to her as long as I can. You can throw any style, haircut, fade, this or that or whatever you want and she’ll completely master it. She’ll make you looking so good as soon as she is done cutting your hair!
I would rate Gloria higher than 5 stars if I could. Eighteen eight is also a very clean and classy place and the whole haircut experience is just out of this world. She’ll treat you right and go above and beyond her service to ensure that you are completely satisfied with your haircut.
You bet I will be going back to her. Again, go to Gloria. You won’t regret it.

I’m so stoked to have found such a high end salon for men only. Here’s a little bit about my experience:
— I walked in, was greeted by a team of smiling faces, and immediately asked who I was seeing, and if I would like a beverage (yes they serve beer and wine!)
— I can’t say enough great things about my stylist, Gloria. She did a fantastic job on my hair and gave me an A+ experience.
— After changing into my robe, Gloria gave me a five minute massage. She then shampooed my hair, made sure I was comfortable, cut my hair, and finally conditioned it.
— Probably the best part of this package was the nose/​ear waxing ¹⁸⁄₈ offers. Gloria waxed the inside of my nose/​ears as gently as she could, and did a great job.
I’d definitely recommend this establishment to others– be prepared to pay, but remember what you are paying for. Customer service and great products/​services.
