Aaron gives great customer service. No negative vibes or sad faces just smiles and friendliness. Plus, food was prepared on time.

The drive thru is ALWAYS slow, but the chicken avocado burrito was better than expected. Go pollo loco!

I have been working in this are for many years and this pollo loco was on top of their game. But recently things have changed. The customer service isnt the same, the food quality… The reason why i am writing this today is because i asked for some lemon and got 2 slices and when i got to work and opened the little plastic bag they give them to you in… They were old and disgusting. The manager should be on top of this! Seems like they have been sitting there for over a week. So check The next i ask for lemons at this location.

I know. It’s El Pollo Loco. How good can it be? For some reason, this EPL stands out. The drive thru staff is always friendly. The food is prepared like it’s supposed to be in a chain. Sometimes, they’ll even make some accommodations to mix and match a few foods to meet any weird dietary things you might have — like if there’s a salad that only has chicken, but you want it to have shrimp. It’s still fast-ish food, but the friendly staff here makes this one of the better EPLs in the game.

Normally good food but they are always forgetting something! Last week my co worker got a double pollo bowl and got no chicken in it! Today i didnt get my drink(partially my fault) didnt get silantro with my chicken tortilla soup, and ordered chips and salsa and just got the chips. –___– Get it together people

I keep coming back because the food is so good, the service is excellent, and they keep upgrading the facilities. It’s getting better and better, almost like a high-end restaurant. If they added bar service, this place could triple in size!

I’ve had so many problems that now I just am over this location. Today they shoved so much in one bag and when I lifted it out of my car the food spilled all over the place.(So now I have to take it to get cleaned). Next, I tried calling and it took three times to contact someone five minutes later who could care less about one taking that long to pick up the phone and two my food spilling everywhere. I’m done with this place this was the final straw that broke the camels back. I rather deal with ordering online and going to downtown culver city traffic to get café vida versus dealing with that type of service!

Shout out to Sakela(I think that’s her name lol– had to find my scrunched up receipt and find her name on it) for great customer service and being so friendly today! It’s the little things :) Edit: Reading the other reviews, I see they’re known for their customer service! Wasn’t just my lucky day lol

Best service I have experienced in a very long time I stopped in quick to buy my workers some lunch today 10÷30÷152:45pm and khalil was very friendly and professional! Asking me how my day was coming along! Who ever trains this staff knows how to run a good business! Big ups to this place. Even as I was leaving another young man«didn’t catch his name» bid me a good day! Who does that these days! Keep up the good work guys!!!

Basically, worst customer service on the drive through. I ordered a shrimp and chicken platter. I said with the drink I want a sprite. He told me the total is 13 something… I get up to the window and ask him, I thought you made it a combo? He said, no that’s not what you ordered… He knows that is a few dollars more, but doesn’t want to press a few extra buttons because he’s a BOT. So basically my point is… why would you want to overcharge for something when clearly what I ordered was a combo? He couldn’t hear me for shit I guess, because I said no broccoli and he says no peas? There are a bunch of El Pollo Loco’s around, I’ll take my business elsewhere… the guy who took my order can go fuck off. So make sure you are very specific when placing your order and that the guy can actually hear you because he will do no common sense to help you when purchasing food. I didn’t know that ordering food was a negotiation. Take this for what it’s worth.

I don’t know what’s going on with the location, but it is the NICEST one I have ever seen and it has the friendliest happy people. I am not sure if it’s newly renovated, but it also had the longest drive thru line ever. There were like 10 cars in front of me so I finally just parked and went inside. The customer service was like ATDISNEYLAND! Plus, they also have a bell by the door and if you ring it all the staffers yell out thank you or goodbye or something. Can’t recall which. Anyway, the inside looks like a cute coffee shop or something. Always a big fan of EPL, this is the 2nd location by me that has drive thru. The other is on Washington toward Sepulveda. I love getting the green avocado salsa here and wings or drums. Other awesome chicken can be found at POLLOLABRESA in Koreatown.

This is the cleanest El Pollo Loco I’ve been to. I tried the hand carved chicken. & avocado salad which is under 500 calories. Love it! I’m a fan of this low calorie salad.

I go here basically everyday for lunch. Gets pretty packed around 1pm but it’s always worth it. Parking is horrible though. Chicken tortilla soup is to die for! Don’t forget to ask for Serranos! Spicy spicy spicy.

This pollo loco location is clean. The people are so friendly. There are flowers on each table and the customer service is off the chain! You can’t compare to Orange County locations. Thanks for a fun lunch experience!

For what it is,(definitely not fancy Mexican) this place holds a special place in my heart. Fast, delicious and awkwardly cheap.

Going here all the time when I need to grab my food to go. I like El Pollo Locos food but I hate the drive thru here as it snakes thru the parking lot. Everytime I’ve gone inside during peak lunch hours it’s very crowded, with a decent wait. Prob better to swing by early for lunch or later in the afternoon. I like ordering from their selection of burritos or perhaps things from the value menu. If your feeling frugal just order chicken legs an maybe loco salad. No bad prices either.

I need to start by saying that my co-worker/best bud and myself LOVE Pollo Loco. That is our go to lunch place when we are working together which is why we were both disgusted and disappointed with our latest visit. My usual is a leg and thigh combo and my bud loves their burritos. On this occasion he ordered a Chicken Avocado burrito. He went through about ¾ of the burrito when his face changed from happy to concerned. The burrito had broccoli in it and he didn’t know what to make of it. As he investigated his burrito further, the broccoli was hard and seemed hollow from the inside. He ripped the broccoli in half and it was completely rotten on the inside. It was disgusting. Someone clearly is not following the FIFO method(first in first out) if not they wouldn’t be serving rotten broccoli to their customers. He went to the counter and showed the burrito to the employee at the register and he apologized. He went to the back to talk to the manager and came back with a business with some scribbles in the back that read«Free meal next visit» and a signature. The manager didn’t even come out to apologize. I think that besides the rotten broccoli the fact the manager didn’t personally come out to apologize made the whole situation worse. They showed me they did not even appreciate me enough as a customer to come out and apologize. I will not give any more of my money to «El Pollo Loco». The rotten broccoli and the lack of customer value left a bad taste in my mouth.

This is one of my favorite El Pollo Loco’s in LA. I’m a huge chicken fanatic, and from the moment you walk into this store, you feel welcomed, and there’s no negative attitude from the cashiers. A nice greeting/welcome, and they take your order. At the very end, they confirm your order, and they are quick with completing the order. When I pick up my order, each and every single time, they will open the box of chicken, confirm that your sides are correct, and give you that warm thank you feeling. I normally don’t write reviews on fast food restaurants, but this one strikes me as a restaurant with superb customer service, and efficiency. This EPL serves way higher than the one located on Santa Monica Blvd in West LA. Huge thumbs up for the managers who hire the hard-working associates here. Overall grade: A+

Went to the EPL to grab a salad, ordered the Avocado Mango Salad for $ 6.69 The service at 11:14 am was quick, fast and friendly. Got back to the office only to find old brown wilted lettuce in my salad. My co worker’s Tostada salad was the same. He called and complained to Dalia and she said she would replace the salads. UPDATE: 5÷12÷2014 Dalia replaced my coworkers Tostada salad, and gave me a 2 piece meal combo. The customer service is excellent and they correced their mistakes. Thanks EPL
