My wife dropped off a racing singlet that I needed for the LA Marathon. It was a little big so it needed to be brought in so it would fit me. Not only did they do an awesome sewing job, they got the size just right and even went the extra step to find the exact color thread to match this neon color singlet. It doesn’t look like it has been modified at all and I got it back just in time for the race. Thank you very much!

They charge more than others. They take 5 days for a simple order, and when you come during posted business hours they are closed. What is not to like?

By far the nicest management I’ve ever met. Walked in and asked if they would consider giving me a discount if I planned to be a biweekly customer. Gave me 20% off right then and there. Remembered my name when I came back 2 days later, and has continued to do so after a handful of visits. They had my 9 pairs of pants done on time and just to my liking. I will definitely be returning and I will recommend this cleaners to anyone who enjoys feeling like their business is appreciate and who wants a nice dry cleaning job done on their items.

They really go above and beyond here. I had a small hole in my favorite, very delicate dress, and the hole was sewn up perfectly when I picked up my items. I didn’t request this, they did it free of charge, and wouldn’t let me pay extra when I offered. Also kept another favorite shirt longer to remove stains. Yet again, free of charge. What cool cats.

Been coming here for a while now, the owners are super friendly, prices are reasonable, and everything is cleaned or altered perfectly and on time. The amazing customer service is just a plus :)

To heck with this place. I don’t know about what Lena experienced — and the fact that she only wrote one review, and it was for this place, is maybe telling — but this place is horrible, and I will never be going back there.
First of all, the first time I brought something in there, it was late coming back. No problem, right, that happens sometimes. But though they had my number, they didn’t bother calling or texting — I just showed up at the time on the ticket, and they said, «Oh, sorry, come back tomorrow.»
Lateness is fine, but lateness and not caring about it, particularly when making a first impression, is not OK. No offer of a discount, no nothing — just a «tough luck, we screwed up, we don’t care if you never come back.»
Why would I bring them my business again?
Well, I won’t.

I have never taken the time to write a Unilocal review before, however this place necessitates one. They always do a wonderful job with my clothes, are fairly priced, my things are always ready on time, and they consistently go the extra mile customer service wise. One time, I brought in a sweater that had a little hole in the collar, and when I got it back they had sewed it without me even pointing it out beforehand.
They are such a friendly couple and treat returning customers very well. Love this place.

I must tell a story about Palms Cleaners. I was getting ready to leave for Japan on a redeye one night, and I got distracted and forgot to pick up my clothes at Palms Cleaners until 6:59, a minute before they close. No time to look up the number and call them, I sprinted the 2 blocks to the store and was dismayed to see the lights off. I was facing a two-​week business trip with no clean shirts! But just as I was about to give up hope, I spotted the proprietor walking across the parking lot to her car. I flagged her down, and she walked back with me, re-​opened the store, turned off the alarm, and got my clothes for me! Of course they were done just right as usual. What great customer service — Palms Cleaners saved the day!
