Love this friendly neighborhood bar. Super clean for a dive bar. The bartenders know how to pour a stiff drink and always serve with a smile. Enjoy playing darts and pool.

I’ve been here a few times, and this place is the definition of a dive bar. The vibe inside is interesting, and the place could probably use a little elbow grease(some of the liquor bottles are covered in dust). But the bartenders are friendly and the drinks are strong. They don’t offer any food here but you can bring in outside food, they even have a microwave you can heat things up, which is a little strange but convenient. Great place to go play pool or watch some karaōke.

Late night karaōke and some good fun. Week day or week end. Be warned it’s dive bar-ish. And they pour like it. They aren’t dainty.

Is my favorite dive bar come here a few times then everyone seems to know your name. They don’t serve food but they allow you to bring in food from all their local restaurants some of them even deliver here. They have a karaōke Thursday Friday and soon to be Saturday nights. Also for your sports fans it’s got plenty of TVs big screen’s little screen TVs all around — so you can watch her favorite sport Hill even change the channel if you don’t see it playing on any of the TVs

Inexpensive and unpretentious, this is the kind of spot that restores your faith in LA and reminds you that it’s not all tinseltown and velvet ropes. Nothing fancy, but strong drinks, friendly service, and interesting locals give this place a vibe that’s hard to find anymore in this town.

Came here last night ultimately searching for karaōke but there was a live band and was just as fun! I’m a musician myself so it was really cool chatting with the band and making small talk, the bartender was a kind man who made me a drink that taste like a cupcake! Delicious! Although my night didn’t end as I had hoped I really had a good time and maybe go with the girls the second time around! Cheers!

Awesome place to watch Sunday football! Big niners place but everyone is welcome. Go here regularly. They have sting pours and Tommy’s delivers from next door!

If you come to the Scarlet Lady with expectations, then you’ve already missed the point. This bar is all about those nights when you need a release but you refuse to get dressed up all fancy and wish to turn drinking into an art form. This is NOT an LA bar and I say that in the best possible way. You’ve got pool tables, dart boards, big screens for the games, karaōke to make you ears bleed and trivia night on Wednesdays to make your mind melt. All this in a cozy space so that you can nestle up right next to your best friend Jack Daniels, Jim Beam and Jose Cuervo.(That’s a Three Wise Men shot for the uninitiated.) The bartenders are great… Especially«Lizzzard» and healthy pours are the standard. Fair warning, no food(no whining, I said no expectations damn it!). But you can bring you own food in or have it delivered and there are a bunch of quick options in the area. Heck, wanna make quick friends? Get some fries for sharing or bring cupcakes!(And if you bring cupcakes tell me when you’ll be there!) So long story not-so-short, next time you debate drinking alone on the couch after a rough day at work, head to Scarlet Lady instead. You’re welcome.

It’s not faux dive bar, it’s an honest to goodness DIVE. However, even though it’s super dark and shady looking, the prices are good and the pool and darts are fun. We usually go there as an office, and we have a good time.

Excellent drinks for the price. If you’re looking for some good drinks and music this is the place to be. Staff is friendly and awesome all the time! They let you bring your own food or order in if you like. Cool atmosphere, I come here every chance I get.

Seeing as The Scarlet Lady is my home bar for my dart team, I figured I should update my review. Service has definitely improved and I hope it’s not just because I’m a regular but that because my first experience was just an off night for the bartender. Drinks are stiff and affordable however, the craft beer selection is nonexistent. It’s a dive bar, by looks and by feel. And, having been a thrower in the dart scene for years, it’s my kind of place. I come by to practice and for organized matches as it’s one of the closest to home. There are two boards in pretty bad condition — but not only do I bring my own in, I also bring in a white board for scoring. I don’t much care for chalk as it affects my grip when holding and throwing darts. There are two pool tables and a both a golf and bowling, arcade video game. They’re really popular and I notice that it brings people together, many times, strangers as it’s cheap, easy fun. Lots of TVs for sports viewing — and Happy Hour prices are very reasonable. Parking can sometimes be tight unless you park in back which is sort of sketchy at night.

I like this local bar. They have Karaōke every night. People are friendly. Drinks aren’t bad. Whats cool about this place is the parking in the back and the fact that it’s next to a couple of food places and another bar. I like to go from bar to bar, back to bar, to food, to bar. Try this place out if you’re in town ;-) Have one for me!

Scarlet Lady Saloon is like a submarine karaōke bar for singin’ & drinkin’ … dive, dive, dive, aweeha! aweeha! … Dive, dive, dive! Don’t come to Scarlet Lady for a date or trying to impress anyone. It’s more of a local hangout with pool, darts, and karaōke(at night). The drinks are stiffer than«actor» Hayden Christensen … which makes the bar an ok choice when you simply want to drink and dive. Sure, it’s breaking safety rules to dive alone, but I rolled in to Scarlet Lady to let off some steam from work and catch the game on the TVs … With a swan dive into a Double Bourbon and Diet Coke, I was on my way to saying good bye to sobriety and stress. It’s not the cleanest or nicest atmosphere in this saloon … ok, Scarlet Lady’s not clean or nice …, but I get the sense that the bartenders and customers all know and accept their«Do or dive» place in life. Of course, it may not be cool to label this bar a dive, but in the words of Rhett Butler after being called out for not being a gentleman … «You, Scarlet, are no lady.» Robots! Prepare my submarine. I’m going to do a little diving!

So… a pitcher of Bud light is 12.50 all night… and you can sing… and you can play pool… and you can watch multiple tvs… and you can watch people sing… and if all else fails, a pitcher of bud light is 12.50 all night.

This place was a good choice for our large group to get together for karaōke — it wasn’t packed, large, and pretty good selection for songs. Your chances of getting a chance to sing were better than in other bars that I“ve been in that were overcrowded. Sing your heart out, who knows, maybe you’ll get discovered here. What? you don’t know. sucka.

*** JT Ross & Burlesque Show review on Wednesdays. *** JT Ross, the Harmonica Boss, used to do POW in Playa. Not anymore, so now he does Scarlet Lady on Wed nites. Scarlet Lady is a dive bar … pool tables, dart boards, a few TVs, an older patronage, and most are neighborhood locals. Ambiance is meh, but the acoustics for the band are nice. ;) Noël(the bartender) pours ‘em deep and keep ‘em cheap so I’ll be back next Wednesday for my JT Ross blues fix. It’s cool. *** 3-star bar plus an extra star for Chicago blues in Culver. ***

Cheap drinks, two pool tables, clean ladies room, friendly crowd of all ages, live music every Wednesday. Close to the freeway, I am told(I don’t do freeways). Easy parking in the free lots, one in back and one in front. Had no idea this place was so much fun or I woulda been in there sooner! The tables near the stage got shoved back so people could dance, as the evening wore on. If it’s sports you like, there are TVs all over the place to watch the games. I dunno what the hell beer pong is, but they’ve got that, too. There’s no need to wait until 11 or midnight to show up at Scarlet Lady on live music night. Most of the crowd arrived early, like 9 or 10, which works for me. I hate to get started real late. But speaking of late, I closed the place last night, ended up going to bed at 5am. Holy crap what a party. Life is good. *yawn*
