Thanks to Anthony Bourdain for convincing us to try! All fresh and tasty! We came for lunch mid day and we enjoyed it! It’s Sizzler!

The staff here was incredibly friendly and genuine. They closed at 9:30pm and still took our order just 10 min to close: true customer service. Our server Stephanie was extremely attentive and sweet. This totally exceeded our expectations; we have a sizzler close to home that doesn’t provide close to this level of customer service, let alone quick, affordable, and good food. Very happy we came here.

I really love their salad bar because they have so much more to offer than just salad. Their salad bar is filled with many colorful and fresh fruits and vegetables as well as cold salad such as sweet potato salad crab salad and different types of macaroni salads. They also offer battered and fried Wings, nachos, tacos and desserts so it is like paying for a buffet rather than just a salad bar. Their salad bar itself runs you about $ 10 but only 3 to 4 bucks if you want to add it to your food. I find it so much better to order food and pay the additional $ 4 and get the buffet so that I can enjoy their buffet and take home my meal. It’s like a two and one! Their own parking and is never really that packed on the weekdays. Clean, children friendly but pretty quiet because whenever I go in the weekdays there isn’t many people there. But it gets very loud on the weekends and filled with many families.

Salad bar rocks! Kale, broccoli, carrots, artichoke hearts, three kinds of lettuce. Fabulous fruit choices and about 29 more super healthy salad choices. Go to sizzler to get a computer like mentally salad with purchase of any entrees. Just like I remember as a kid. Awesome seafood, steak, chicken and burger choices. Can’t go wrong with the great prices.

This is only for the salad bar, soup bar, and hot appetizers. I was surprised by the variety and quality of the salad bar. There were 6 large bowls of salads and salad greens. One in particular included kale, pumpkin, and pomegranate seeds. Very high class stuff. That special featured salad has been on their line for awhile, but will be replaced at the end of the month. There are the usual accessories to dress up the salads. Interestingly, there are at least 3 kinds of pasta salad, but no potato salad. The hot bar was their usual of chicken wings, meatballs in sauce and marinara to go with the spaghetti. There was Mexican rice, beans, taco meat, cheeses, and taco shells, among other things.

The service is always good, the food is ok for its price, but I have to say their steak is probably the worst among all inexpensive restaurants, even the budget priced Norms has better steaks. I had a hard time believing how bad it is, I tried 4 times, tonight was the last time I had their steak. I go there more than half a dozen times because one of my friend likes to meet there for dinner every once in a while. I finally spoke to them about the steak, they admit they had changed a few meat suppliers in the past few years, none was good enough, and they heard customers complains more than a few times. I won’t stop going when my friend wants to meet there, but I’ll definitely skip their steak.

Most sizzler restaurants do not have a good reputation. This location on Sepulveda, across from the west field mall, is a corporate owned restaurant. It is unbelievable. Everything is kept spotless, the staff is amazing, and the food is very fresh. My favorite is the lunch salad bar for $ 10. That includes salad, cold pasta, fruit, taco bar, hot pasta bar, soups, and dessert bar. Excuse me if I forgot anything. Definitely a good deal for what you get

I don’t know why anybody would be hating on the Sizzler. Seriously. And don’t people know that the same things that were hot in the 90’s are hot again today? This particular location has always given great customer service and has had very friendly attentive servers. The manager has always come to our table to greet us and we’ve never had a bad experience at this location. I have to say that the amount of food offered, consistent replenishment of items and the amount of options on their salad and hot bar, $ 12 is not too much to ask. Who doesn’t love the endless salads, soups, hot appetizers & dessert? Depending on whether you bring a coupon, $ 11.99 is a pretty fair price and since I’m not a big soda drinker(usually order the free water), Sizzlers is defintely a great choice. Lunch options are cheaper, but still a great value. And yea, I eat the salad bar then go straight for the fried chicken…5-STARS

It’s been a LONG time since my wife and I have been to a Sizzler, but some of our friends insisted that it was worth checking out again. It’s basically a bit like Souplantation for salad bars, but they offer some more meat options. Remember that this is all you can eat, so you can imagine that their quality isn’t the highest, but if you’re just wanting to eat some comfort food, you’ll be happy here. Our server was an older gentleman today. Really attentive to all of our needs, and made sure we were well taken care of. He should be working at a much higher scale restaurant…

Challenged a first date to a meatball taco eating challenge. She threw up in the bathroom. What a p-ssy. It’s clean and the staff is friendly. If you’re looking for a dry-aged ribeye, look elsewhere. I need another order of cheesy bread… and can I get 5 more clean plates? I’m gonna be here ALLNIGHT.

I remember when Sizzler was a treat to go to… Boy have times changed! This was the most disgusting steak I have had EVER(im not putting extras on it either). My order came out in 4 minutes flat… Tuff as a dirt bike tire… Nasty is putting it nicely… And the price was $ 29.99 for an experience that will follow me home to the bathroom. If pictures speak louder than words, this should yell at you to Stay the heck away from this place… Jeez, I’d write more, but I gotta go get sick…

Been many years since our last meal here. Tonight’s was complete spur of the moment. We arrived and though there were a lot of people, there was ample seating and offerings on all of the bars. I noticed team members refilling items in the Salad Bar, Taco Bar, and Dessert area frequently. The only drawback being that many items seemed to be missing labels. As an example, in the taco bar, there were small cheesey poppers — I only decided they were jalepeno poppers because there appeared to be green peeking out of some of the cheesy drip, and right next to it was nice, green, jalepenos. Another example was the soup bar — delicious looking chicken noodle, and very classic clam chowder, but there was a third soup — even after eating it, I’m not 100% certain whether it was a corn chowder or a potato soup, as both tend to have corn and potato. It was very tasty, the temp was right, but a label to know for certain would have been helpful. Once you’ve selected your seat, the waiter will come by to put your order into the kitchen. When he/she does, they offer nice thick slices of yummy garlic bread! I assume if you want one of the tasty looking flavored lemonades, these would be the people who bring them. We were satisfied with do-it-yourself soda. Anyway, the prices were somewhat reasonable — of course, it helps that my mom gets to enjoy the Senior Menu which includes a beverage that would otherwise be $ 2.50. I enjoyed the Malibu chicken from the Value Menu, which includes unlimited salad(taco/soup/dessert) bar. Admittedly, I had to take my chicken and baked po home, as I completely filled up on the bar! Mom ordered the bar in addition to her menu item, and did the same thing. My brother was the only one of us who selected an entrée without the additional bar. He admitted that if he had realized the selection, he might have ordered the bar as well to take home his entrée. As with any place, these days, it seems even«reasonable pricing» is not«inexpensive». Our dinner tab came to $ 51 for 3 adults, and we gave a cash tip to our server, Ricky, for his excellent service, however, the entirety of two of three entrees ended up being packaged to come home and will easily be 2 – 4 more meals, and the entrée eaten on premises was only because my brother did not get the bar! I was actually satisfied enough to consider reaching out to this Sizzler location about potential banquet space I will be needing soon, and I think it is fair to believe we will be back for dinner soon.

Heeeeeelllllooooo! Heck ya I’m a fan! Ever since I can remember eating at Sizzler as a child up in the bay area, I was surprised to find one down here in LA that is just as good and tasty as I remembered it as a child! First off — This place IS one of the nicer Sizzlers and it’s kept clean and so is the all you can eat food bar. Their texas toast & their chicken wings are still the BEST thing about Sizzler and it DOES taste the same as I was a kid growing up! Kudos to this management team and staff, as they have kept the bar up to keep Sizzler one of the best restaurants that I remember from my childhood. Especially since they have to compete with local restaurants and high ends, always popping up. The service — Excellent. Stephanie L was our waittress and she was always welcoming and attentive to both my sister and I, even though I noticed that she was manning like half the restaurant. This lady was doing a damn good job. Pleasant and always with a smile. Food — Just like you’d expect as a kid. We ordered the all you can eat salad bar and there were so many offerings at this Sizzler. The salads, the fruits, the soups, the tacos, chicken, etc… everything looked fresh and served hot! And the dessert, it’s not just frozen treats anymore, they have a variety to choose from. A banana bread type pudding, an individual sized cheesecake, and some white cake. Way to Go guys! We also ordered a steak and shrimp skewers to share. The steak was cooked medium rare, and the shrimp was a-ok. For a chain, not bad. Not grade A choice but if you’re craving steak, this place still has what it takes to cook a decent tasting steak. The veggies on this plate, obviously tasted like it was frozen, and the rice was typical too. I’d have to say I really enjoyed the salad bar and the steak. There’s plenty of parking on either side of the restaurant, and the bathrooms are in decent shape. Also — the to go bags, are not given in a big box. They give foil and a bag — which I prefer, because I’ll just be eating those leftovers at home and throwing the bag away anyway. I’m glad they do that, its less waste.

I’m not surprised to give SIzzler 2 stars. It was a hit back in the 90s, but now the quality of food has gone down that you can get better salads and food elsewhere… far more cheaper, too. My mom and I went here, because we saw it at a a distance and said she hadn’t been to sizzler in awhile and would like to go. There’s a reason why it’s been so long! My mom is over 65 so she got the salad bar with drink for $ 10.99. I got the regular adult salad bar minus the drink for $ 11.99. Kind of a weird«bargain,» but whatever. It didn’t include the drink, I guess that’s why, but only 1 dollar less for a senior menu? The salad bar had the old favorites like the chicken wings and the taco/nacho bar. There was a soup bar as well. The salad section had a little more diversity in it, there was tuna salad, macaroni salad, even kale salad and a spinach berry salad. Then there was your typical 3 types lettuce and some more veggies to dress your salad. Meh. The ranch was disgusting by the way. For the quality of food, the price is kinda steep, I thought. At souplantation, you get more selections and more food for the same price, including a drink. I think they need to knock it down a few bucks. Besides the food, the restaurant was decent and the waitress was pleasant. I wouldn’t necessarily make it a point to come to any sizzler, but it is what it is.

I’m a fan of sizzlers but this one wasn’t as good as the others I’ve tried. The fried chicken was waaaaay overcooked which was a bummer since that’s my favorite part of the buffet. They didn’t have the bread rolls with the soup that I like but the clam chowder was on point as usual. Overall this wasn’t a great sizzlers to eat at but since it’s the only one around, I may return. Perhaps the chicken won’t be burnt next time.

Came with family(NOTBYCHOICE) and it’s overwhelmingly disappointing. Honestly, it’s the Sizzler, so you shouldn’t be surprised. Sure, the all you can eat salad bar for $ 10 seems like a good deal, until you see the mediocre prepared salads, sad wilted lettuces and canned toppings they have for you. The strawberry jello was the best-looking thing on the buffet. Don’t even get me started on the build your own«tacos» and their bland, off-tasting soups. The tomato soup was way too acidic, but somehow managed to be flavorless. Quite an amazing feat. The corn chowder was way too sweet. It tasted exactly like a buttered popcorn flavored Jelly Belly. Gross. The chicken wings are the frozen kind(I feel like everything in here is the frozen or canned kind). I guess you can’t expect more from the Sizzler, but it’s still worth saying: one star. Not worth paying your hard-earned money for frozen, thawed and reheated food. You’re in Los Angeles, there are so, so, so many more affordable and quality options for food.

3.5 Stars for Sizzler. It was my colleague’s birthday and I told her to choose wherever she wanted to go out to celebrate. She chose Sizzler! Lunch AYCE Salad Bar is $ 9.95. I’d say that this was perhaps one of the best deals on the menu. The«salad» portion of the bar was your typical smaller-sized salad bar with pasta salads, prepared salads, cottage cheese, jello, fruit, and other fun things. The soup section was stocked with three soups — Fall Pumpkin, New England Clam Chowder, and Chicken Noodle Soup. There is also a really neat Taco /Naco bar at this location, where they have taco shells, ground beef(?), cheeses, fresh salsa, sour cream, guacamole, and all the fixings. The best thing was the salt and peppered roasted jalapenos! There is also fried chicken wings and spaghetti at this bar! Winner! The dessert section looked really fun — soft serve ice cream, four types of cakes, brownies, and all of the fun toppings to go along with it. For my meal, I got ½ cup serving of the clam chowder and one taco. I was done eating after this! :) I’m sure glad that my coworker enjoyed her meal! My friend got the Malibu Chicken, which was the chicken steak(looked like pieced together pieces of chicken parts like McNuggets) deep fried in a batter, and topped with ham slices and cheese. Served with a butter(?) mustard sauce and two slices of cheese toast. The clientele here are pretty nice, as I’ve seen how greedy and aggressive some of the customers can get at other AYCE joints.
